A popular iOS title that made it's way to Window Phone. Burn the Rope! is a simple game where, just like the title indicates to burn rope by controlling the fire using your phone to control where the fire goes. It will have you twisting and turning your phone to control it. Overall, it's a fun and different game. Just follow the guide and you'll probably get the Kill achievements way before you get Gold on all of the levels. Enjoy this unique game and you'll get that 200/200 in no time. Tips: - Make sure your fire is traveling upwards against gravity. If you have your fire traveling downwards the fire with extinguish itself. - Pressing on the screen, causes your fire to speed up, great for timing things when killing bugs. - Colored ropes can only be burned with a fire color matching the rope. To get a colored fire you need to kill a bug matching the color of the rope. Achievements can be grouped into 2 categories. Getting Gold on levels and Kills. Gold Levels http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPt8nVo=.jpg Starting Sparks 10:gsicon: Get a gold on all the Fire Pit levels. **See Cabin Fever** http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UP+nd-8=.jpg Lumber Jack 10:gsicon: Get a gold on all the Wood Pile levels. **See Cabin Fever** http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPi9bHw=.jpg Tying it up 10:gsicon: Get a gold on all the Dock levels. **See Cabin Fever** http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPoFnAY=.jpg Royal Flush 10:gsicon: Get a gold on all the Outhouse levels. **See Cabin Fever** http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPxmhtk=.jpg Wheeling & Dealing 10:gsicon: Got a gold on all the Wagon Wheel levels. **See Cabin Fever** http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPgklbM=.jpg Shedarific 10:gsicon: Get a gold on all the Shed levels. **See Cabin Fever** http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPldlO8=.jpg Cabin Fever 10:gsicon: Get a gold on all the Cottage levels. Each Stage/Area has 16 levels so in total 112 levels. The main objective is to get 100% of the rope burned to get a Gold on the level however only 95% is required to get a gold. The earlier stages will give you the basic idea on how to manipulate the fire which will get harder later on as you get other colors required. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPm7ccc=.jpg Rainbow 10:gsicon: 4 or more flames all of different color at once. This one requires precise timing and might take a couple of tries. Start up Docks:XLI and just follow these steps. **Start off by holding your phone how the level defaults.** - Let the Green ants go left then turn to the right. - The Blue ants will be going to the right and about half way. - The Red ant should be going up. - Burn the rope crossing between the Green and Red ant. - Hold your phone diagonally so the fire burns the ropes of the Green and Red ant. - Next turn your phone so the rope of the Blue ants burns. **This method is what worked for me after some tries. It may or may not work best for you.** Kill Achievements With all kill achievements, the levels are replayable, so when you reach a level where a bug appears just repeat the level until the achievement unlocks. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UP0fh4U=.jpg Dead Ants 20:gsicon: Eliminate 5 ants Ants first appear on Firepit:III, just kill and reload the level until it unlocks. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPz-fxY=.jpg Beetle Bopper 20:gsicon: Eliminate 10 beetles Beetles first appear on Wood Pile:XVII, unlike ants, beetles need to be killed with the fire of the same color. Just time it right, kill and reload the level until it unlocks. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPnEbSA=.jpg Web Wizard 20:gsicon: Eliminate 20 Spiders Spiders first appear on Dock:XXXIII, just kill and reload the level until it unlocks. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPqcZck=.jpg Bomb Blaster 20:gsicon: Eliminate 20 fireflies Fireflies first appear on Firepit:VII, but to make the achievement easier, load Firepit VIII. Just light the fire at the bottom, kill and reload until it unlocks. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UPhbiVQ=.jpg Electrician 20:gsicon: Eliminate 20 Electric Bugs Electric Bugs first appear on Wood Pile:XXIII, just kill and reload until it unlocks. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2083/UP2Gfko=.jpg Soaking Wet 20:gsicon: Eliminate 30 Water bugs Water Bugs first appear on Outhouse:XLIX, just kill and reload until it unlocks. dogcom
My friend says the difficulty would be 5/10.
TrishTheDish
My friend says the difficulty would be 5/10. IDK, maybe. This is one of those games that it's rather daunting at first, but after an hour or so you pick up the technique and it gets rather easy. Admittedly, I'm only halfway through but I'd say 5 is a bit high. 4 perhaps?
Yannie Boy
I'll change it. The girlfriend is close to being finished. 4 seems more accurate once you get get the feel for the layouts and the chain reaction of different bugs.
Hybridchld
Each Stage/Area has 12 levels so in total 84 levels. Should read "Each Stage/Area has 16 levels so in total 112 levels." Decent guide though. Could do with some tips for some of the harder levels though.

M0taku
you should probably note that the "Rainbow" achievement doesn't pop up until the level is done, whether you complete it or not. that way people aren't expecting it to pop up during the level. they might think that they've missed it. thanks for the help
Tyger7
Easily 5/10 or 6/10...i may not even be able to complete it. I might just be extra bad at it. A lot of times it seems more luck based, depending on where the bugs are on the level. It is very time consuming because of this to me. Arsenic 17
Easily 5/10 or 6/10...i may not even be able to complete it. I might just be extra bad at it. A lot of times it seems more luck based, depending on where the bugs are on the level. It is very time consuming because of this to me. There are several levels that if you fail multiple times in a row the bugs will glitch out and spawn in the wrong places and go in the wrong tracks, making the level basically impossible to finish. If you notice the bugs are in different and especially impossible locations, just exit the game, return to the windows phone start screen, and re launch the game. The glitched bugs should be fixed. When the bugs are behaving properly, the game is challenging but not that hard. I stand by rating this 4/10. Sorry you are having so much trouble. Try the solution I mentioned, maybe you will have better luck.
phazer
Sometimes I just rotate my phone round and round, it helps to keep the fire going when there's two (or more) in opposite directions. :/
Arsenic 17
Sometimes I just rotate my phone round and round, it helps to keep the fire going when there's two (or more) in opposite directions. :/ lol well that is the point of the game. it often requires quick rotation of your phone (as flames burning in opposite directions is a common occurrence)..which makes this game awkward to play in public to say the least. YBEAR
Thanks for the guide, the game was fairly easy. Some of the levels were difficult, but it just takes some time to work through it.
