There are a total of 85 awards to platinum in Grand Theft Auto Online. Below, I have listed all the awards and a short description on what completes the award. Some awards only have a platinum level, others require you to work up to platinum from bronze.

Once you have earned 30 platinum awards, you will unlock the Decorated achievement.

I have marked the ones that only have the platinum level with this color. There are 22 medals that start at platinum.

The platinum requirements for each award are listed in the brackets [].

To see your progress for the awards: Pause > Stats > Awards. You can also check out http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/career/awards to see your progress for all awards.

Tips:

Victory:

All VICTORY awards (except Survival and The Record Holder) - These can all be easily boosted with 2-4 players and inviting them into private matches.

Survival - There are many methods for completely this on any map (THIS ONE is listed in the achievement guide), but here is a video to complete it solo:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fg5-tvZtpjE]GTA V - Solo Survival - 10 Waves - Unnatural Selection - YouTube[/ame]

The Record Holder - Many people received this award during the first few days of GTA Online because of server instability. Right now, this seems near impossible to complete as most (if not all) world record times in races have been modded.

General:

War Pig and Veteran Racer - These can easily be boosted with 2 players. Otherwise, open your phone, choose Quick Job, and select Join Deathmatch or Join Race.

Nick Of Time - Load up Construction Bail solo, jump straight down, and open your parachute high enough so you don't die when you hit the ground, but low enough so you take some damage/fall down when you land. An alternative method:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdUG_ypRvn8]Grand Theft Auto 5 Online: "Nick of Time" Platinum Award (GTA 5 Decorated Achievement / Trophy) - YouTube[/ame]

Point Break - Choose any parachuting missions that starts up high (like Up In The Clouds), jump and immediately pull your parachute. Pull back on the left stick the entire time you are descending and it should take over 3 minutes to land.

Stayed On Target - Choose any parachuting mission (Terminal Velocity works well) and land on the target at the end.

Clear Out - Locations can be seen at http://imgur.com/LdXrK9C or http://puu.sh/4MbfQ.png. Finish 5 within a 24-hour period in the game (~45 minutes real time).

Checking Out - To complete a match in 6 darts, you either need to get a double 20, 3 triple 20s, triple 19, and a double 12 OR double 20, 3 triple 20s, triple 15, and a double 18 in that order.

Birdies - Play golf and score at least 1 stroke under par. This comes down to practice and finding what holes you are good at.

Hole-In-One - Hole 6 seems to be the easiest to get a hole in one on. Set up a match for only hole 6. Aim your shot to land right before the fringe and apply top spin in the direction of the hole. Your best bet is to have the ball roll into the hole.

Ace - To "ace" in tennis, you need to score a point on the serve. This can easily be boosted with a friend. Otherwise, work on getting full power and aiming left or right when serving.

The Hustler - Place bets during jobs like races and win. This can be boosted with a few friends or it comes down to luck and betting on the right player.

Lapping It Up - Go to the strip club and get a private dance. Continually end and start a new dance until you have platinum. Have at least $1000 as dances are $40 each and you need 25 dances for platinum. If you have an apartment, you can try to get a stripper's number and call her to come to your apartment. The dances there are free.

Crate Chaser - After completing some jobs for Ron, crates will start dropping about once an hour. Be the one to get to the crates and pick up the contents for this award.

Salvaged - Rarely, a special crate will drop and you will be notified with some gold text on the screen. This contains much more valuable stuff than the regular crates.

Snapper Dresser - Go to a clothing store with a lot of money and purchase 25 different pieces of clothing.

Hairy Encounters - Go to a barber shop with a lot of money and purchase 25 haircuts.

Proud Gun Owner - Buy every gun available in an Ammu-Nation. This will require you to be level 120 for the mini-gun.

The Human Canvas - Go to a tattoo parlor with a lot of money and purchase a tattoo for each body part. This will require you to get 500 headshots for the face/head tattoo.

Crimes:

The Fugitive - Pick up a 5-star wanted level and proceed to lead the police on a very long chase. Or break it up in multiple police chases. Can be combined with the two awards below.

The Police Mocker and When Pigs Can Fly - Find a Buzzard and start blowing up police helicopters as they show up. Once you have a 5-star wanted level, evade it and repeat this.

Death By Drive-By - Have your friend drive you around as you kill AI enemies.

Vehicle Thief - Steal vehicles! An easy way to evade the wanted level you will eventually get is to steal vehicles near your apartment and enter it when you get a wanted level. Alternatively, load up the Downtown Underground race, set it to GTA, wanted level off, and traffic on. Go to the first intersection after the start and steal cars that are stopped at the lights.

Full Metal Jacket - Occasionally, you will see the armored truck icon on your map. Go to it, stop the truck, and blow open the back doors to claim the money.

Armed Robber - This is also an achievement. Rob each store on the map (each one you rob will disappear for a short time and reappear with a green checkmark). You can easily remove the wanted level by entering the in-game marketplace and backing out as soon as you grab the money.

Vehicle:

Sky High - Blow up vehicles with any means you have. Explosives work well, obviously, but you can also shoot a car and it will eventually explode. There are a few jobs/missions that require you to blow up vehicles to complete it. Replaying these can quickly increase the number of vehicles you have blown up. Alternatively, load up the Downtown Underground race, set it to GTA, wanted level off, and traffic on. Go to the first intersection after the stunt jump to pick up rockets and blow up cars.

The Exporter - Simeon will occasionally ask you to find some vehicles listed in a text message. Find one of the vehicles, evade the police, respray it, and drop it off at the marked location. There is no way to speed this up.

No Claims Bonus - Go to the Sandy Shores Airport near where Trevor lives and drive circles on the runways for 30 minutes without damaging your car.

The Passenger - Get in the passenger seat of a friend's vehicle and sit it in for a long time.

Mile High Club - Steal or purchase a helicopter and fly it for a long time. If you go up to the game ceiling, you can easily rubberband the helicopter.

Suped Up - Go to a Los Santos Customs with a lot of money and purchase each type of mod. You also have to purchase the Chrome finish for your vehicle, which requires 50 races wins.

Airborne - The stunt jump in the middle of the Downtown Underground race will work every time if you use Super vehicles. Set it to GTA race, make sure to pick up the boost before the ramp, and use the boost right after the ramp to hit the jump at full speed.

Flippin' Hell and Spinderella - The obvious method would be to find a big mountain or good jump to work on these. You can also try to use the gate launch glitch:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WERDoFlwfN0]GTA V: Gate Launch Glitch (Tutorial) - [GTA 5 Swingset Glitch] - YouTube[/ame]

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3MrE1ilfO8]GTA V CAR LAUNCH GATE GLITCH TUTORIAL, Flying Cars (New "Swing Set" Glitch) GTA 5 - YouTube[/ame]

If you are having trouble getting the gate launch glitch to work and can't seem to get the flips and spins off mountains, you can give this method a try:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbnlHRrtcV0]gta 5 spinderella and flippin - YouTube[/ame]

Unirider - Host the Taking Off race with vehicles set to motorcycles. Choose the Bati 801RR and drive from one of the runway to the other while doing a wheelie.

Combat:

Head Banger. The Widow Maker, 3 For 1, Steaker, Stolen Kills, Death Toll, Killstreaker, and The Equalizer - These can be easily boosted with one friend in deathmatch. Just set the time limit as high as it will go and set the game to no score limit. Alternatively, play a lot of DM, TDM, and LTS to work on these.

The Bounty Hunter - Bounties will be set on players either by AI when a player steals a vehicle or by other human players. Find someone with a bounty and kill them. This can be worked on with 2 people placing bounties on each other.

Smoke 'Em Out - Go to a gang attack with at least one other person and kill the most enemies. This is easy with one friend. Just have your friend not kill any enemies while you kill them all.

Bloodiest Of The Bunch - Go into a Survival match with three other players and get the most kills. If you do this with friends, they can let you get most or all of the kills. During round 2, everyone can kill themselves/die and this award will unlock.

Weapon:

All WEAPON awards - These can be easily boosted with one friend in deathmatch. Just set the time limit as high as it will go and set the game to no score limit. Alternatively, play a lot of DM and TDM to work on these.

32. Arm Wrestling Wins - very fast matches, win 25 in a row then switch

33. Granny (all targets same color) - target grid match, let each other flip all targets to one color, done in seconds

Efficient Groupings of Platinum Medals

1. Solo Freeroam

  • 25 haircuts
  • 25 outfits
  • every mod
  • private dances
  • hold up 20 stores
  • no claims bonus

Simply acquire these at your leisure in freeroam, when you have enough money.

2. Solo Race - Downtown Underground - GTA Race - Super Cars - One Lap - Traffic On - Wanted Level Off

  • 300ft Jumps
  • Blow Up Cars
  • Steal Cars

Host this job solo, use rockets to blow up traffic cars during your races, and get the boost before the stunt jump. Each race will get you one of the 25 jumps, and a handful of blown up cars. When you're done with the 25 jumps, use respawning rockets to blow up cars and farm them. You can also get out of your car to steal cars stopped at traffic lights and don't have to worry about wanted level for either.

3. 2-Player Race - Criminal Records - GTA Race - Custom On - 2 Laps - Wanted Level Off - Traffic Off - Split Times Personal

  • Race Wins
  • GTA Race Wins
  • Win a Race with a Custom vehicle
  • Road Rage
  • Penetrate From Behind
  • Betting Wins
  • World Record
  • Fastest Lap

Host this job with a friend and set it to two laps. Alternate wins. GTA Race wins also count toward the Race Wins, so do both together. The winner will bet max on himself, the loser with bet min on himself. The winner will be in second place after the first lap, then pass the loser on the second. Also each person will take one turn using rockets to blow up the opponent 3 times before you win to unlock Road Rage. Do this until Penetrate From Behind is complete. From then on, the winner will win both laps. Your second lap should be much faster than the first, and will get you Fastest Lap and most likely World Record if you keep at it. You should be close to platinum on betting wins by the time you get your 50 race wins. When you finish, you should have earned plenty of money to use for the medals in section 1 above.

4. 2-Player Tennis - 5 Sets

  • 25 Aces in Tennis
  • Win a 5 set match
  • Win with straight sets

Host the match and have one player win every game and every set. This will take 20 minutes per 5-set match. You need to win 3 sets, and 6 games per set. The winner will get an ace on every serve. When the loser is serving, return the serve and score a point there. You'll have to play through two 5-set matches, but you'll both easily get your 25 aces by the time you're done, and you'll both have all three platinums.

5. 2-Player Deathmatch - Morgue - Max Time Limit - Max Kill Limit

  • 500 Headshots
  • 500 Pistol Kills
  • 3-For-1
  • Streaker
  • Deathmatch Kills
  • Killstreaker
  • Equalizer
  • Tattoo every body part

If you wanted to boost medals in deathmatch, this is how I would set it up: 2 players, smallest map possible. Every kill should be a pistol headshot. First one player will kill the other 10 tens, then switch and repeat. Now take turns killing each other 3 times in a row, then switching. Three kills in a row gives you 3-to-1, and killing someone after they killed you three times gives you Equalizer. By the time you reach 500 headshots/pistol kills, you'll have gotten the other 5 platinums. I included Tattoo every body part because 500 headshots is required to unlock the head tattoo, which then allows you to get this easy (yet expensive) platinum medal. Naturally, instead of pistol kills, you can do it with whichever weapon type you want, but stick with one for 500 kills and 500 headshots.

6. Solo - Free Roam - Buzzard Helicopter Required

  • When Pigs Can Fly
  • Sky High
  • Mile High Club
  • The Fugitive
  • The Police Mocker

Play in a solo session so you don't have to deal with other people. Steal a Buzzard Helicopter (comes with miniguns and unlimited missiles). Use your missiles to blow up cars around town. When the police show up, blow up their cars. When the police choppers show up, alternate between blowing up choppers and blowing up cars. Eventually you'll earn a 5-star wanted level. You can maintain this wanted level for The Fugitive, and/or continually escape it in your helicopter for The Police Mocker. By the time you're done with When Pigs Can Fly and Sky High, you should be more than halfway done with Mile High Club and can rubber band your controller for the remaining time.

anyone who played on day one gets a "free" platinum medal for posting a world record in a race due to the server issues they had [Victory 14]

And this one is a given if oyu go for the other achievements. [Crime 7]Armed Robber - hold up every store

Hey, is there any way to know beforehand the requirement for each award?

Like Pistol Kills for instance. Does it say in the awards menu "x/x Bronze" "x/x Silver" etc.

Or does is only say which current Level your on?

Does this make sense?

It'll only give you the requirements for the current medal. So, if you are on bronze, you won't see silver, gold, and platinum (I assume these are all the different medal tiers) requirements.

Damn that's a shame, but at the same time...it's good cause less updating you'll have to do :p

I was thinking, perhaps in the OP state that netting 30 Awards unlocks the Decorated achievement.

Also, maybe bolding or highlight in blue the ones that give you aplastic I'm right away without the different tiers?

Anyways, these look easy since Private Matches work!

Yeah, I was going to mark the platinum-only ones when I get on in a minute.

They're almost too easy, now I hope it takes absolutely forever to reach level 100 or this completion will end as a joke. :(

Someting interesting I discovered yesterday is it doesn't end at 100. (I know that's the last achievement level)

But the Minigun is unlocked at 120.

~~ Checking Out/General Darts Mini-Guide ~~

I really love darts and I believe darts is a bit of an esoteric game. So I'll add a little insight about the "Checking Out" achievement if anyone happens to need any help.

A couple easy checkouts I use are: (Basic Guide below if this doesn't make sense)

T20, T20, T20 + T19, D20, D12

If you accidentally miss one of the T20s, you can still check out using:

T20, T20, 20 + T19, T18, DB (double bulls-eye).

(You need to be able to hit at least 2 T20s in your first turn to be able to check out)

Cool tip: You can just out with just 3 darts if your score is 170 or less Excluding these Seven Scores (169, 168, 166, 165, 163, 162, 159). So 158-2 are 100% checkout-able in 1 turn.

List of all possible checkouts: (refer to this after your first 3 throws to see if you can still checkout)

This website is a list of common checkouts, whatever your score is refer to this list before you throw you can think of it as a little "Cheat Sheet".

http://www.crowsdarts.com/charts/out_steel.html

~~~ Basic Darts Guide ~~~
In 301 the goal is to get your score from 301 down to exactly 0 (ending on a DOUBLE) using the shortest amount of darts thrown.
The last dart you throw needs to finish on a DOUBLE, the double is the rectangle areas on the OUTSIDE of the dartboard, also the very CENTER (bullseye) counts as a double as well.
Example: If you have a score of 10 remaining, in order to with you need to hit the DOUBLE 5, (5x2 = 10). Hitting a double to win the game is called "Checking out".
You always want to aim for the TRIPLE 20 (the triple is the small red rectangle in the middle of the 20 slot), this is the highest scoring spot on the entire board, netting a maximum possible of 180 in an entire turn.
So, the 2 big things you need to know for success:
~ Aim for the TRIPLE 20
