It will require a near perfect run on Raiden Fighters Jet. First you will need to collect enough medals to get the Eagle Pendent (you must have a slave ship and collect a medal that drops down and will float in front of the slave. Then collect other medals so that it grows). Once you get the eagle pendent collect it then get 9 medals on the screen. When you do that they will explode and the medals will become gold bars worth 10k. These bars will multiply with each one you get up to 100k (10k, 20k, 30k, etc) but if you miss one (Let it drop from the screen) then you will start at 10k. I believe that the ones that drop from ships increase the multiplier and not the ones that are on the ground (don't fall after a period of time) but you still need to grab them. Again you will have to get really good at memorization and take out everyone with bonuses. Good luck http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/542/UP2EboA=.jpg Wingman 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Complete a stage with a second player (any game, area or difficulty) ___________________________________________________ Play any stage with a second controller. The easiest way to get these to appear is playing training level 5 in Raiden Fighter Jet. Set the difficulty to practice and hover over the 3 domes until they explode showing the miclus. Also the tankers that are on throughout the level if you over over them you will get the miclus to show. So you will get at least 3 per run (domes) and upwards to 6+ if you hit all the statonary tankers by the end of the level. This level takes a minute to complete. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1008/UPnBeJE=.jpg Fairy Guardian 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Acquired 100 Fairies (across all games) _______________________________________________ These appear throughout the game after doing a certain task (shooting X number of fighters down quickly, allowing a boss to run over an enemy tank, etc.) You will actually have to grab these not just make them appear, so don't shoot them! The best place to get this one was Raiden Fighter Jet. Level 5 practice difficulty to practice. After you pass the 3 domes that hold the miclus there is a sliver metal bar across the middle of the screen. Go to that and go left to right/right to left across it to make 9-10 fairies appear. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1008/UPxjk2g=.jpg Medal Collector 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Acquire one hundred 100,000 point medals (across all games) _________________________________________________ You will collect these medals in RFJ. You will get this eventually over the course of several games. Or if you want it quickly. Go to RFJ difficulty to practice then set the medals to max (X-medal to 100k) and play Training level 5. You will get this quickly. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1008/UP2Da-s=.jpg Allrounder 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Pilot every fighter in all three Raiden Fighters games, including the hidden fighters ______________________________________________ You will have to play as every fighter and slave ship in the game. This includes the secret characters in each game! I found it easies to do it this way: Mode Training, lives to 1. Go to weapon options and choose a fighter. Start the game and die. Go to weapons options again and choose another fighter. Repeat, until they are all done. Again it has to be done with the slaves also. Cycle through all three games for the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1008/UP+iYk4=.jpg Bonus Chain 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Raise the power of your Bonus Chain to the maximum (only in Raiden Fighters Jet) _______________________________________________ Can only be done in Raiden Fighters Jet. Set the difficulty to practice and play through. You will have to take out 9 enemies (larger ones) within a set timeframe. I found that the level where you are in the clouds (level 30) to be the best since you get alot of big enemies that will dive bomb towards you giving you an easy kill. joshnorm
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1008/UP5Cmt0=.jpg Almost Master 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Accumulate 10,000,000 bonus points (across all games) __________________________________________________ You get this by almost getting hit (sparks fly off your ship). This over the course of several games. Here is the best method that I have seen from Laorik (he used RFJ but I was told it can be done on RF2 with the same ship): Almost Master- using training mode on RFJ again, boost your fighters and bombs number to 99 and choose fairy as a character. Set enemy fire to 100% and difficulty to expert. Then go into the last, level Real Battle phase 2 + Final Boss, and simply move to the back of the map and just constanly press the bomb button. While Fairy's is in her bomb shooting mode, she actually absorbs bullets for points and they count for the almost master achievement. It took me about 1 1/2 play throughs of the level to get Almost Master. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1008/UP1ljtM=.jpg Quick and Dead 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Accumulate 10,000,000 Quick Shot bonus points (across all games) ________________________________________________ Quick shot bonuses are when you shoot down a large fighter before they can get a shot off. Secret Achievements http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1008/s1.jpg Final Boss: Raiden Fighters Jet 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat the Final Boss of Raiden Fighters Jet (NORMAL mode, any difficulty) __________________________________________________ Fight the final boss in RFJ on normal mode. This one is tricky. This is how I got the achievement: difficulty: practice (no one shoots at you, just don't crash into anything) ship: Fairy mode: NORMAL (DONT DO BOSS RUSH MODE) Medals: OFF (Keeps the screen clear so you can shoot everything The Level progress should be 5, 10, 15, 30, 45 (or 50), then "real battle mode" Phase 1, Phase 2. At the end of Phase 2 a plane takes off go shoot that down then you will get the achievement to pop. If you get the message "this level was difficult for you" start over since the achievement was missed. Also I believe that you need to kill every enemy that is spawned or at least close to it. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1008/s2.jpg Final Boss: Raiden Fighters 2 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat the Final Boss of Raiden Fighters 2 (NORMAL mode, any difficulty) __________________________________________________ Set the game to normal mode. You have to keep it going for 96 hours. If you want to keep your box running for a long period of time and have a turbo controller tape down A button, set the game to practice and let it run with the TURBO active. I recomend you installing it to the HD to make it run cooler and faster. There you go. This is a easy 900 points and if you have some time 910 is very doable. The other 90 points would be very skill based so practice practice, practice. Check out Youtube videos and try to find tips on getting that 100,000,000 score...good luck. Its a great game at a great price so go check it out. If I left anything out or should add anything let me know (better tips on 100,000,000 and 50,000,000). NOTE: Some of the achievement pictures are from the Japan version of the game. When I get the right tiles and make sure that they are the correct tiles/names I will update the guide. Thanks to: Killer Scuzzy J, Laorik for adding to the guide and Thunder cg for starting the orginal but never finishing it. JDUB XL
Very good stuff. I have a few questions though. When I started up a training mode on RFJ, the Ship select was grayed out and would not let me change it, is there an option that makes ship select unavailable if you change somthing? Also could you clarify how to get the Secret fighters in Normal play. I know it involves holding the B button and pushing A on certain ships but what ships exactly? Also could you clarify how to get the Secret fighters in Normal play. I know it involves holding the B button and pushing A on certain ships but what ships exactly? First I believe you are looking on equipment options. To change the ship you need to go to weapons in training mode. To be able to cycle through. I will clarify that in the guide. Also to get it legit you press A,B on each fighter to play as the slave which is the smaller faster ship. You can do this across all 3 games. If you do this for the Miclus then you get the Fairy. I believe if you choose the IXION and press down A,B then you get the other secret slave. I could be wrong on that one as I just went this route. 96 hours, really? Thats the achievement they thought they should go with? Yup, which is awful. Worse part is that its only 10 points....so turbo controller seems to be the best route. I will be playing this alot but that is a long, long time.

ApochWeiss
I went through the guide and I'm just sitting here getting achievements. A lot of these you can get this way: use a wired controller (wireless will shut off) chose which game, set it to whatever mode it has to be in, but choose practice difficulty. Take a strip of tape, you're choice (I don't suggest duct tape) and tape the rapid fire button down. Then, start the game. Oh, you have to go to dinner with your girl and her family but don't want to leave? Gotta go to school? Have to go to bed or work? Do this you'll get achievements and time towards the hours achievements. You can also get the one coin achievements without even being NEAR the system this way haha. Couldn't get it with RFJ though... Just figured I'd give you guys a heads up about this since it's not mentioned in the guide. Really frees up some time. I love the game but I'm not playing this for 96 hours, I know I'll get bored of it, put it away and forget about it, or trade it off before then haha. Laorik
Great job picking this guide back up. Also a comment on the Raiden Fighter Jets Final Boss one. I had someone watching, and I missed 3 enemies and still got it, so its definitely not that you have to get all of the enemies, but i'm in much agreement that you have to get nearly all. I think its glitchy (kind of like the score ones). For the "One Coin/Quarter" achievements, I believe you have to do it alone. I started up a second controller when I was going through the first Raiden Fighters for the Wingman (Friendship) achievement and I didn't get the "One Coin/Quarter" achievement; so I went through it again alone and I got the achievement fine. JDUB XL
I thought I would let you know that the trick mentioned in the other thread does indeed work. I just did this on Raiden 2 For Expert: go into Options: Extra: Set Final Misson to Off. After that, you will be able to just continue on the final level and boss where you die. it makes the Achievement Impossible to miss.

GS JuNk3E
Also, I am having a hell of a time getting the true final boss in Jet. For the True Boss I used the Fairy Ship in RFJ and made sure to destroy pretty much every enemy on the screen in each mission, very few escaped me. If you see a message that says something like "This level was difficult for you." during the tally screen, just start over because that means you're not on the right path. For me I think it went from mission 40 to the "real missions" instead of Simulation Level 50. Just keep trying, you'll get it, good luck.

Oh, one more thing; make sure that you destroy each part of every boss, don't just focus on destroying the boss as quickly as possible. If the boss has multiple turrets that pop out or whatever, destroy them first before you take out the boss. I'm not sure if it's true that that's one of the criteria for the real missions, but I read that somewhere and I did get the true boss after about 5 attempts when doing this. Akari
I missed the RFJ final boss achievement when doing it in Full Run mode for some reason, despite fighting it... Did it again in normal (practice difficulty) with Fairy and got it easily. I turned medals off for the heck of it, and once I got the 2 options with spread fire, I pretty much just sat in the back of the screen and let everything run into my bullets. 1 5 15 30 45 real1 real2 final boss, no problem. For Miclus Hunter, is it enough to go into Training, RFJ 5, grab the 3 miclus at the start, then hit Back and start over? It's hard to tell if I'm making any headway at 3 per run, and I'd hate to think my progress was being wasted... Also, the guide says to hover over stationary tankers for more Miclus, but I don't see any in that level. I think the Miclus achievement and POSSIBLY the 12 hr one are all I'll go for. 96 hours is stupid, and I'm not good enough to even get 50 million in RJF... my best is like 38M before I die. GS JuNk3E
Yes, grabbing those 3 Miclus in RFJ level 5 will work, but you may want to complete the level, I'm not sure if it's enough to just collect them and back out...plus this will add to your total play time so you'll be working towards that as well. As for getting more Miclus from the tankers, that might only be Score Attack mode; I hear they show up in different places there.
Flak
Has anyone gotten Allrounder? I've flown every ship I can find, all with both slaves and still nothing.

I have; the easiest way to keep track of it is to start with RF1, go into Training and set the number of lives to 1 and start with the first ship and just go into gameplay, die, select the next ship and so on and so forth. Do this with RF2 and RFJ and you should get the achievement for sure. Edited May 23, 2009 by GS JuNk3E
