Infernal
Personally I enjoyed the History Channel Civil War games, no they aren't game of the year but they are fun little games. What are your thoughts on this one?
gravelandx88
Same here. I'm digging the 20 achievements equaling 1000 Gamerscore part. But I like to stay optimistic. For all I know this game might turn out to be really good. Just have to wait til it gets released.
Infernal
Yeah I agree I guess we just have to wait. Battle for the Pacific was awful though! and those MP achievements were hell as well!
Nutty Scouser
Got a feeling this may be very very addictive
THE DEADLY DOG
I'm excited. Looks to be different than the crop of History games we've gotten so far so maybe this will actually be new and refreshing.
DecadentBeaver
As mentioned, the achievements are few, and they seem to offer a quick amount of easy looking achievements. Will keep an eye out for this, and might invest in a purchase. Easy 1000g are always welcome.
Ace Attorney 86
History Channel games seem like they are made on the cheap and are never AAA titles but I do enjoy them. I'm a General Patton buff and will have to try this for curiosity's sake alone. I looked for info on it and it says it will be a turn based strategy game which makes sense. Lol what we really need is a General Patton FPS. There would be achievements for shooting at German planes with his ivory pistol and for slapping shell shocked privates. The final mission would be Patton assualting the Furher Bunker all by himself to "personally shoot that paper-hanging SOB". Then later DLC will have him taking on the USSR. Ace Attorney 86
And of course there would be an achievment for peeing in the Rhine called "The Furher's River". And you could sic General Patton's bull terrier Willie on unsuspecting Nazis. I'm not expecting a top notch game out of this but hopefully it won't suck. The great man deserves better. Ace Attorney 86
I'm with you. Hopefully they'll put some good movies in between missions, that's one thing History Channel has done well with their games, lord knows they have enough footage to use. Exactly my thoughts, and if the game totally sucks, I'll at least gain some knowledge from playing it.
THE DEADLY DOG
Exactly my thoughts, and if the game totally sucks, I'll at least gain some knowledge from playing it. I hope so. That was the only thing Pacific had going for it was the movies.
Infernal
Couldn't agree more. From the screenshots I am not expecting a polished gem, but as long as it's not a lump of coal i'll be happy.

THE DEADLY DOG
I never got around to that one, did you play it? Yeah I'm still working on it. Played multiplayer with a friend and now trying to eventually get around to it. One of my favorite History games.

EatSleepDreamAchievements
I got the game at the top of my Gamefly Queue. I've played all the past History Channel games on the Xbox 360 and while they aren't up to today's Graphics/Gameplay standards I've always enjoyed them nonetheless. The "History Channel" doucmentary aspect of the cutscenes are my favorite, just like watching the shows on tv but you are on the battlefield. Imagine if they could make a AAA "History Channel" title? Holy smokes, that would be killer. History Channel + DICE's Battlefield franchise =

THE DEADLY DOG
I want another Civil War game, or an American Revolution style one. American Rev would be nice. I wouldn't be too disappointed even if they went ancient Asian or even Greek.
