Fang Foom
So Alan Wake has always been one of those games I wanted, but never got round to buying. After finally getting it for as a present, I've just finished Chapter One and am feeling pumped. When "In Dreams" kicks in, it just seems perfect and made me tingle! Also, when the "Previously on Alan Wake" came up, it made me smile. I hope you guys dont mind me writing a kind of pointless thread but it truely was one of the moments in gaming that felt perfect. Hope the rest of the game is as good as I've read some people saying it gets boring?
BranFlakes543
Glad your loving the game. It only get's better as you progress on. I'm not going to spoil anything, but yes it does get twisted later on, be prepared To me, the game wasn't boring at any point, but to some it has. It all depends on the persons love/hate towards the game.
cutchinz
Yay glad to find another fan of the game! If you thought about the first part in that manner then I'm sure you will love the rest! As stated above it does get pretty crazy but it's still epicly fun! Enjoy!
DJ RJester
The game was great, has a great storyline and has some real tense bits to the game.

Dz06lt
Its a great game for sure. You asked if it gets boring id say no but it is a bit repetitive
Dizzy Domes
Glad you're enjoying it! This is one of my favorite games. I've beaten it around 4-5 times, and never got bored of it. This is one of the games I enjoyed getting 100% achievements the most (along with Borderlands).
xKRAIZEEMANx
Just finished it on my first play through (Normal), and all I can say is WOW....I have not experienced a game like this before. Sure it was a bit repetitive, but man, was it ever original. I will definitely be going back to get some of the missed achievements.
FeatherbottomMR
just started playing this game and it is great.... I love the ending to the sections and then when you go to the next chapter it goes previously on alan wake was a nice touch.....

Fang Foom
I really enjoyed it! I've just done it on Nightmare and that was intense. Lots of out of breath running! Also just did the Signal DLC without dying. Sheesh Im sweaty. I get why people say it's boring but I think the story is so good. Also, the feel of being in a small town and the sigh of the woods in daytime is just so well done! LOVE IT! 3 more achievements then Im done. Not looking forward to doing the Writer (think thats the second DLC?) without dying
A J
It only gets better and better as it goes along, so if you like the beginninng, you should like it all the way through
YourHero
Seems like an Alone in the Dark clone. Alone in the Dark was not fun. I hope to be wrong, of course as I like playing good games.
Darkly Demon
I was always wondering how this game would be. Is this a good scary/creepy game?
Team Penguin
There are points that might make you jump but not scared. Although, if you tend to make yourself "into the game" to where you feel what the main character feels, then prepare to be paranoid as hell..... Fullmetalx07
I love this game!! when Everyone was buying RDR I brought Alan Wake Instead and I'm so glad I did... When you beat the game but the DLCs!
Jesuit007
For what it's worth, which is admittedly not much, I really liked Alan Wake.... except for the two "finish without reloading" achievements in the DLC. I don't mind tough achievements, and I like to be challenged.... but Alan Wake is really terrible at platforming elements and I really dislike one-shot chances for achievements. I don't mind dying 50 times in a tough combat, using resources more and more carefully until finally getting it right.... but the whole spinning world/whoopsie I'm dead, there goes another 30 minutes of an attempt got really old really fast. Good game, but it should have stuck to what it was good at, which was creepy vibes, good writing, decent thrills and chills, and combat. FFS Alan Wake is NOT Ezio and shouldn't have to jump around like an idiot over and over trying to get some precise platforming section completed. Rant over.... good game all in all, just a REALLY crappy couple of achievements.
Obliteral
When i see previously on alan wake and the way the game is it feels somewhat like supernatural wich ofc means 1 thing....ITS EPIC!!!!!!
rob magic
Not really my cup of tea. I bought Alan Wake on release and still haven't finished it. I just find it linear and repeat and rinse. I will finish eventually I guess but sometimes I just really dont want to play it.

Rep
When I bought my new xbox it came with it and it was a pretty sweet game...... I really enjoyed it. Same here. I though it wasn't any good or anything so I didn't play it for a long time. Turned out to be a great game.

Maiyku
I finally got this game a couple weeks ago and I LOVED it. It's most definitely on my list of games to get 100% on . It can get a little repetitive at times, but I only realize that now that someone else mentioned it. You really don't think about it while you're playing the game... the story has you waaaay too sucked in to care. A lot of games tend to lack in the storyline department, but Alan Wake is NOT one of them. I recommend it to everyone!
