Tailz
Where's Waldo Achievement Guide and Road Map Overview: -Estimated achievement difficulty: 4/10 -Offline: 0 -Online: 200G -Approximate amount of time to 200http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg: 8-10 Hours hours -Minimum number of playthrough's needed: 2+ -Number of miss able achievements: None -Glitched achievements: None -Do cheat codes disable achievements?: No Cheats *Note alot of people including myself have been having issues with glitched achievements, Follow the instructions posted by Pants* This must only work for "Friend to the Stars" I got an achievement in Tinker, signed out and loaded up Waldo, then loaded both of my save files with the glitched difficulty achievements and neither one unlocked. Edit: Ok, managed to get the Kids achievement to unlock by replaying the last level and going from 4 to 5 stars. However, I already have 5 stars on the Normal difficulty and it still won't unlock. Edit 2: Got another achievement in Tinker and then replayed the entire Normal campaign which finally unlocked it permanently. Glad to be rid of this now... http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/UP89-QU=.jpg 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg The Journey Ends (Kids)- Finish the game on the Kids difficulty setting. You must complete the "Kid" story mode. This is pretty straight forward and not too difficult. Find the items listed in the menu to advance to the next level. You MUST earn 3 stars on EACH level to advance to the next. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/UP89-QU=.jpg 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg The Journey Ends (Normal) - Finish the game on the Normal difficulty setting. Same as the (Kids) difficulty. This one is SLIGHTLY harder, but not really. Locate the items listed in the toolbar and point them out on the map. Once again, Go for 5 stars on each map to help towards your Friends to the Stars Achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/-YgE0g==.jpg 40 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Friend to the Stars - Earn 180 stars in the Single Player mode on the Normal difficulty setting. You MUST do this on Normal, Your stars on "KIDS" do NOT count towards this so. You have to quickly identify the objects and people in the Menu and make sure the Star-meter does not drop below 5 stars or you will not be able to regain it.Once you beat NORMAL you should have to replay about 15-20 Levels for this to unlock. That is what i had to do to earn this achievement. You can check how many stars you currently have under the NORMAL filter on the Leaderboards. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/-fcYNQ==.jpg 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Wizard’s Apprentice - Find 50 hidden items in the Single Player mode on any difficulty See Master Explorer http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/UPt-7m8=.jpg 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Junior Explorer - Find 100 hidden items in the Single Player mode on any difficulty. See Master Explorer http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/UPvmF6A=.jpg 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Master Explorer - Find 150 hidden items in the Single Player mode on any difficulty. This counts toward both KIDS and NORMAL difficulties. "Hidden Items" consists of anything but people. You will get both of these achievements about 3/4 the way through your 2nd playthrough on KIDS or NORMAL. As you progress in the later stages you will have 15 to 30 items per level, So this should come easy. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/-zD0qA==.jpg 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg There He Is! - Find Waldo 20 times in the Single Player mode on any difficulty. You must locate Waldo at various times throughout KIDS and NORMAL playthrough. He is VERY hard to miss as he sticks out with his red and white sweater. You should earn this very early on during your first story mode. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/UPxl9ew=.jpg 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Bone Appétit! - Find 10 bones in the Single Player mode on any difficulty. You must find 10 hidden bones in KIDS or NORMAL (They both count towards your total). They can be hard to spot because they are not on every map and sometimes there is none, sometimes there are 6 or 7. Best way to spot them is to look on the grounds and on tables. In the 5th level on KIDS (The big Feast Map) there are 6 or 7 alone. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/-kn19A==.jpg 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Hot Dog! - Find a hidden item using Woof in the Single Player mode on any difficulty. Start a new game on KIDS, Once you begin click on the dog to help you in the bottom right corner. Use the cursor to locate the object. Pay attention to the Dog trail, If you are close it will be red. Locate the item and Achievement Unlocked! http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/-tAMOw==.jpg 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Seeing Black and Yellow! - Find Odlaw 5 times in the Single Player mode on any difficulty. Odlaw wears black and yellow and appears randomly throughout the story mode. Find him 5 times and the achievement is yours. He is part of the game so this cannot be missed. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/-Bfgpg==.jpg 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Photo Finish! - Complete a Wenda quest in the Single Player mode on any difficulty. Early on during the KIDS story mode, you will come across this quest. Simply complete it by matching the items up and this Achievement is unlocked. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1307/+coXuA==.jpg 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg The Swamp Stomp - Find 30 swamp creatures in the Single Player mode on any difficulty. About halfway through you will locate Odlaw and soon after that you will be asked to find swamp creatures. You must find 30 DIFFERENT creatures. You should get this about midway through. Teh BeZ
The Leader-boards are a cumulative amount, So unless you did not play on KIDS you will not be aware as to how many you have. You can change the leaderboards at the top to show either kids or normal BTW

The Pants Party
^The guide is not really correct here. You have to simply earn 5 stars on every level, including the two "bonus" levels that appear after you complete the last Waldo mission on Waldo Island. No replaying of missions is necessary unless you have not got 5 stars on them. Also, you CAN get 5 stars if the bar drops below 5. I let it drop to 0 once and still managed 5 stars by quickly finding every item within like 1 second of each other. You can even go from 4 to 5 stars with your last find since you gain some meter from that alone. I've already edited and posted this to the main site, but if you could update the info here as well Tailz it would be appreciated. Thats odd...because i got 5 stars on every mission on every level and i got no achievement. So i kept replaying missions and it finally unlocked a little while after that. So there are 2 contradicting theories there. I'm not sure why i had to do more work?
The Pants Party
Well in theory the way I described it should unlock it, but as the other threads on this board attest to, the game is glitchy as hell. Both of my difficulty achievements unlocked and then disappeared off my profile and I can not get them to "re-unlock" or stay on my account. I've e-mailed the developer and hopefully they'll do something about it.

Tailz
Hey, i was just andering if these achievements are hard at all? what achievements to be precise? The game is pretty easy and straight forward to get 200. Nothing too difficult. This game is a 1st grade Arcade game.

R Rated Love
Hot Dog! and Photo Finish! can also be done on "Normal" difficulty. I also unlocked The Swamp Stomp by playing through the same level twice. (I wasn't looking to get the achievement, but I only got 4 stars the first time, so I replayed for five. Happened to unlock it as well.) Edited January 3, 2010 by R Rated Love
zeroFerus
Nicely done! I'm going to try and pick this game up today, if I can find it.
LethalEdge
Do the Kids and Normal difficulty achievements stack? Sadly no. But completing the Kids difficulty is extremely easy and can be done in hardly no time at all.

adriano28
what is required to get 5 stars? do you have to find ALL the items or find them all in a certain amount of time?
davhth4
To get five stars you have to keep it above the fifth star. Finding an item or scroll puts it up about nearly a whole star. Your star score drops when time passes.
adriano28
okay thanks. I think im gonna get this. I enjoy the wheres wally (or waldo) books, and its a shame when you have completed them all and cant do anymore.

French_Kid
i must be really dumb or something....for the "there he is" achievement...what do I do? I have everything else but this one. A complete play through nets you 12 waldos. Do I need to play through levels over again? Or on the SAME save file, i need to play through kids and normal? IEvil IMonkey
I finished the game on kids and it popped at the bottom. When I went on my 360 (and checked on xbox.com) it had given me the cheeve for getting 180 stars instead of completeing the game on kids difficulty!!! I wasn't going to play it on normal so really I'm +10g but this game is so fucked I 100% will never get another GFWL title ever again Ludia are the GameLoft of the GFWL world and they can both kiss my arse when it comes to purchasing a future title off either of them
