The 20G rule is a good for a bad. Good because you can get some easy 20G with some effort. (like in DR2 where you visit every store, put mask on enemies heads, etc, etc) then there's the tediously long achievements like 72k kills for a meager 20G.

Yeah let's hope there will be only offline-achievements. As for the 20 :gsicon: - rule I think it's the signature feature of the whole Dead Rising franchise and I like it cause every achievement you earn is equal even though it sounds harsh to get the same amount of gamerscore-points for killing 500 zombies and killing 72,000 zombies. All in all it simply takes a little longer than usual to score the total 1000 :gsicon: and I'm cool with that. :)

This looked like a really awesome list of achievements. They seem to carry over that humor that's been in the trailers, that I hope stays in the game, and none of them seem to annoying, like having to go around and just collect a shitload of stuff from the mall. They all seem pretty unique and fun, like having Denyce attack the final boss, so I guess we'll have to escort her through the entire game, or not eating meat, dairy or alchohol during the entire game.

But am I the only one that thinks that the list and the tiles are a bit revealing? They revealed cool stuff like the challenges and that we can have more than one survivor in a car at once and the challenges, but there's also the one called "Out with the old" that talks about killing a motorcycle-riding psychopath, and it has a picture of a shaggy looking Chuck there. Seems interesting.

What ones seem boring or grindy to you? The only one I can think of is the 100K one, and it seems like there's a sandbox mode so it should be okay.

If sandbox mode is, as one would assume, a mission-free and time restraint-free mode, then it should make getting those ridiculous kill counts fairly easy. I am, however, irritated with Capcom's take on their franchise support as of late. They seem to release all the right sequels that receive warm welcomes from fans and critics, only to re-release a slightly different version of the game a year later with a few extras and then they do that one more time (ie: Street Fighter 4, Super Street Fighter 4, Super Street Fighter Four Arcade Edition) (they also seem to be going the same direction with Marvel Vs. Capcom 3).

But back on topic, the achievement list looks pretty easy and should be fun. Although, as said before, the list features both heaven and hell, as that has become a staple of the series, as well as the 20 G consistency across all achievement whether they are frustratingly long, difficult, or only takes three minutes of gameplay. Either way I am satisfied with the list, but I don't know if I will be jumping on this immediately. Maybe a little farther down the road when it is a bit cheaper.

Haven't they always done that, though? Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II Turbo... And besides, I'm okay with this one because it does seem to have an appropriate amount of new content, considering it's price point.

I can´t belive that no one has comment on this but, doesn´t Chuck looks older in the picture of the cheevo where he appears?

This is getting weird, the game apparently is going to recycle almost everything from the previous one, but Frank and Chuck seems to be around this zombie world for a few time, Frank is fattest and boldest and Chuck seems to be in that picture hairy and bearded.

I really want to think this isn´t going to be exactly the same game and this kind of give me a certain hope.

Real disappointed that there will be no TIR in this one (but there might be no achievement related MP). I remember seing screenshots of Frank in a wrestling suit in the TIR cage...

I think that was supposed to be the story mode, Frank's equivalent to the Slicycles at the beginning of DR2. Also, if I had to guess there won't be any online TIR in this game because they wouldn't want to take away from the already small online community of DR2.

Getting those kill counts was always easy (anyone who had problems with 72,000 in DR2 did it wrong). The problem is that they're boring as fuck to grind out. That won't change just because they take the time limit away.

I'd like a TIR arcade game :(

You kidding me? You seem to be the only person in Dead Rising 2 community that likes TIR....the biggest problem with TIR events is unplayable and laggy as hell. Thank you, Capcom for not adding any TIR multiplayer or TIR related achievements for this new game, DR2:OTF.

The achievements look not bad overall and looking forward to it.
