nemesiscw
I'm wondering how many people use X to run and how many people use RT to run? Personally, I use X mainly because it feels a lot more natural and easier for me to fine tune control when it's pressed.
Whistler
X ofc, that's the way you play 2D platformers
Bullitt Bill
I started off using x but now i find it easier when doing boosted wall jumps to use RT. Some of those jumps are damn tricky when you're trying to use two buttons next to each other.
DandySNF
Yeah it's way easier if you use the right trigger.
SquirrelFood252
RT, just feels more comfortable but still hurts after the 50th time of trying a level
Incompl33t
X until it hurts, then LT.

master_shake_350
RT. I can't get my head around using the X button.
CalacaDeMuerto
My vote is for X, but that's only because I feel like my reaction to flatten my finger to press A/X is much quicker then my reaction to pulling the trigger constantly and trying to press A. Anth0ny07
I started off using x but now i find it easier when doing boosted wall jumps to use RT. russian box
RT, In mario i always change tghe controls so the bottom button [A on 360] is run and the right button [b on 360] is jump. so i can hold A and rock my thumb onto the jump you can't change it in SMB so its trigger for me. as for finger burnout. bruised thumb anyone? Gun-Nut
I've been using RT just feels more natural for me I mean play all those shooters and its more then easy enough
y0LAs
I thought about this at the very beginning of this great game and I think the better way is using LT, because you will hold your controller easier in the moments of great tension... LB would be the best because it responses faster, but unfortunately it's not possible... Try LT, my friends!
xPERxSUASIVE
I find RT is easiest to use, using X to boost feels to cramped right next to A. For those saying that their finger aches from pressing RT to much, I find my thumb actually aches a lot more from repeatedly pressing A lol. The Drumber 1
RT. Has anyone else got into the habit of just holding down RT/x constantly?
GR4V1G0R3
i kinda use both, depends on what type of level it is, and if my finger / thumb / whole hand is cramping up unfortunately i suck no matter what i use i can't do half of rapture (5 - _) so i can't finish the light world shame really, i was doing quite well until the rockets turned up (and ignoring dark world after world 1, christ, like the levels needed to be harder ... great game though, i like being made to feel useless. got bored of breezing through nonsense games these days, apart from 3rd person hack n slash games which i've found i'm also terrible at)
pacokorn77
I started off using X, but there was one of the Bandage Girl levels that started to irritate me, so I switched it up. First time using LT on that level, and I succeeded. I guess it depends on the level.
Jaffazoid
It's easier to double tap A when you use RT which I've found I've needed to do a fair amount in the later levels, especially if you want to max the times out. The only downside is because I always hold it down my finger gets cold after a while...
Jakez123
RT, just feels more comfortable but still hurts after the 50th time of trying a level I know what you mean, DAMN dark world cotton ally
prizeless
I use RT. I tried X for a while and it didn't feel right to me for some reason. I do better using RT.
Trixix
Well...i just found out you could use the RT so i guess that shows that i use X
The Ju1ce
RT. Has anyone else got into the habit of just holding down RT/x constantly? Yeah, way easier to hold the button or trigger down. There aren't many occasions when you need to let go.
JotaroRaido
X all the way. Back in my day, controllers didn't have those fancy-pants "shoulder buttons" so we had to do everything with our thumbs. I tried using RT when my thumb started getting tired, and it started to hurt after about a minute. Unfortunately, I think my X button is starting to wear out from this game...every so often Meat Boy will just drop into a walk for a second.
