First car was a Vauxhall Corsa B. Cost me £200 and I rolled it 2 weeks after I passed my test :(.

Last was a Peugeot 206, hated everything about it bar the sunroof. Summer isn't the same without a sunroof.

Now drive a VW Golf Mk4. Wanted one since I was a kid and I love everything about it... other than how slow it is. Looking to get an Audi A3/BMW 1 Series later on in the year, though.

i thought golfs were fast. i've always loved em too. i might look into getting one for my next car, my original want of an evo is highly unrealistic:p

Well mine's only a 1.6, the 1.8/2.0 GTI's are pretty nippy I believe. Had mine for about a year and a half now and would definitely recommend them to anyone that wants one. Fantastic cars in every way ;).

i was looking at a few for my first car, but the ones i could afford on insurance weren't the 2.0 GTI that i wanted, so i got my grande punto 1.9 turbo diesel instead. i saw a 2.0 GTI for only around £1900, but the insurance was around £5k!

i'll get one though eventually.

First: 1995 Hyundai Scoupe. Worked on the family farm and saved money for my first car for years, and this is what I ended up buying at the time. Cost me $6,000 and was only 3 years old. Was a great car...low-maintenance, easy to work on, and had no problem with oil changes every 12K miles and me flooring it all the time everywhere I went.

Last: 1995 Mazda Millenia. I wrecked the Hyundai and needed another car in one day. This was a surprisingly good car. Also very well-built, easy to work on, and it took my 12K mile oil changes (pushed it too far to 14.5K once and blew some kind of cap on the engine, but gluing it back on took care of that). Bought it for about $6,000 and ended up selling it to my brother for $150 after 6 years of ownership. It needed new shocks/struts, needed some reassembly from an abandoned car audio replacement project, the aforementioned engine cap issue, and it had also been through a huge transmission fluid leak that caused a bit of damage there. So yeah, it wasn't exactly a gem when I sold it, but they fixed it up and drove it for years after.

Current: 2004 Acura TSX. I hand-picked this one, down to the exterior and interior colors, which required going out of state to buy it, since these are in very limited supply in my state (probably due to very happy owners). This car fits me like a glove. I've had it for 4 years and 8 months and don't plan to sell or replace any time soon. I drove the Mazda until it was falling apart while I saved the money for this car...paid $16,500 in cash for it. Best purchase I've ever made.

My first car was a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. It's a Ford Explorer clone, all parts are the same, except it just has a different appearance in the headlights and taillights.

My CURRENT car is a 2009 Scion tC. It's my precious.
