The SUV Method

WARNING THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS AND SHOULD NOT BE ATTEMPTED BY PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A 100% FULL PROOF METHOD. HELP IS VERY MUCH WELCOME IN PERFECTING THIS METHOD.

ALL USERS WHO DO WILL BE CREDITED.

Step 1

You will need to get your hands on $2 million. For this you will first need to get the 3 gambling magazines.

Gambling magazine 1 is located on the second floor of the Royal Flush Plaza and is in Ragazines

Gambling magazine 2 is located on the second floor of Palisades Mall in Stan's Large Print Books and Magazines

Gambling magazine 3 is on the Sliver Strip in Shamrock Casino

(Till there is photos this one is a little harder to find but not to hard just keep searching and you will see it eventually.

Once you have all 3 of these in your possession proceed to the Slot Ranch Casino.

Near to the entrance of the food court you will find the big pink slot machine. Keep betting maximum and don't worry if you lose a few times eventualy you will get $50,000 to $100,000.

Once you have your $2 million i recommend you head towards the entrance of the Royal Flush Plaza and use the toilet near there to make a save.

Step 2

Time to get the driving magazine and SUV keys. The Driving magazine is located on the first floor of Bennie Jacks BBQ Shack in Americana Casino.

(Again an image would probably help here but keep searching it's not to hard to find)

Once you have that it's time to go to Tinkerbox pawnshop on the Sliver Strip and purchase the SUV keys.

Now with the driving magazine and SUV keys your all set. Head back just directly opposite the pawnshop to Shamrock Casino and enter the SUV.

Could put chainsaws on the bike and use that until it breaks then use the SUV, more kills between loading screen

The bike sucks cause it's not as big and does not go through as many zombies as the SUV. Plus cause it's so fast it hits into things and when you hit into things you can go flying off.

Does anyone know of where to find a chainsaw?

That may be near the bike?

Or possibly anywhere!

Thanks!

I've searched the entire area starting LEON'S trailer and the only/nearest chainsaw I spotted is always in the MAINTENANCE ROOM near the sex-shop. In the alley right across the Slot Ranch Casino Entrance (Silver Strip).

Sounds right but I've tried that, the ZPH (zombies per hour) just isn't up to scratch for 72k. Taking the SUV through masses of zombies only gets you about 800-900 kills an ingame hour without the pit stops, count the pit stops and the math just doesn't add up. Unless there's some special way of driving I'm unaware of.

The bike is waaaay better, cuts down zombies like wheat, but the "recharge" time inbetween will drive you mad, having to climb that rock stage for a chainsaw. And you'll have to do it often, since the bike magazine needs at least Case 2 finished which just takes too much time. Maybe it's possible with the bike, but it comes late, I haven't fully tested it anyway.

I noticed that I had more success once I had reached the last point of attack power by levelling up (40? 41? I think) and my time to kill 1000 zombies dropped from about 6-7 minutes to 4-5 which sounds more achievable within the time limit. Whether or not I had just gotten the pattern down better or if the last attack point made that much difference I don't know. (If it even effects SUV damage, I'm not sure)

But it seems definitely achievable with the SUV, especially if you let Katie die because you get the extra time you would have spent looking for her Zombrex.

It takes 15 minutes from Yucatan to get a chainsaw run back and mount it on the bike, too long. The bike did do a thousand kills in 50 minutes though, 'twas glorious.

Now my attack stat is maxxed out, I did the SUV run again and found it did pretty much exactly 1k in an hour (even with some rather questionable driving on my part), so at least from my experience the attack stat changes things.

Still, as suggested earlier, if you finish your SUV run at the rock stage, grab the chainsaw and do a bike run, might keep things interesting. Personally I'll be sticking with the SUV.

An hour DR time, or an hour real time? Cos if you got 1k kills in 1 hour real time, that's awful.

So I do have to quote myself, oh my gosh...

Thanks for this! I'll test it out this evening and see my results.
