Thanks for the compliments guys. :D

When I'm choosing the fonts I go through my selection, and whenever I go on a bold one, to me the contrast is too big. As my signature style is simple, having a bold font pulls the eyes to that more instead of the image. For me I like the font to compliment the image and not take away from it.

Also, I've added another one of Sam Fisher. I think I've captured the new grungyness that the game shows.

I've added a new Darkness one, and I must say, I'm actually pleased with it. All my life with everything I've done I've never thought: that's really good. In my mind I always find faults and thus not like it. But with this one I'm actually happy. :D

I also changed two of the signatures because I really didn't like them. I still don't like them very much, lol. :p

Yeah, and the box and rectangle likes shap effects.

For the scanlines, I made a 6x6 canvas and zoomed in lots. I then took the pencil tool and made a line going from the bottom right to the top left. Save this as a pattern. I then made a box and filled it with the scanlines pattern.

For the shape effects, I made a box on an interesting point. I then went copy visible -> paste as new layer. I then moved it to a decent spot and displaced it. To displace, go to Filters -> Map -> Displace.

I hope that made sense. :p

The bottom bit does. :p

How do you make lines that are straight and also diagonal?

OK. For the straight lines, get your pencil tool and draw a straight line. Then, go to Filters - Blur - Motion Blur and set the angle to 0 and the length to around 80. Then chage the layer mode so it blends in.

For the scan lines, this video explains it quite well.

I thought I'd add some drawings of mine. I got some new pencils the other day for technology when I'm in Sixth Form and thought I'd test them. It is much better when you have a wider selection of pencils rather than just having the standard HB.

Also, does anyone know how to resize them to a more appropriate size?
