Updated Rules Read Please :)

Changed the rules to keep it open ended and anyone and everyone can enter at any time. Thanks to Wii187 for the idea. :)

Thanks everyone contributed and commented so far ;)

----------------------------------------------

Guidelines;

1. Anyone can take part at any time.

2. If you want to add to the sig download the above users version then add to it.

3. We will be saving the Image as a .PNG file so its the same for everyone.

4. We'll keep this sig to a one render focal.

5. When you think the sig is finished put a border on it and write x360a for the text.

6. Post it up and tell people what you done to it, even if it's just a little thing.

7. When the sig is done I will add in one post who contributed to the sig and the steps taken to get the end result

8. When a new one starts ONLY after the last one is finished who ever starts has to link a render that will be used for that sig.

9. This is for everyone to learn from because nobody no's everything.

10. Remember it's just for fun and respect other peoples efforts.

REMEMBER IT'S JUST FOR FUN.

I also think it will be learning exercise for everyone, learning what certain effects have on the overall sig.

We are using the wraith render:

I started by opening a new working space of 400x200 pix.

Then added a blue grey colour (colour ID: 6c7883)

I then got a water stock and set it to overlay 15%

Okay,

Added in the render.

Smudged it around

Set it to Grain Merge 100%

cheesyp00fs

Added in the render twice, one was larger than the other, set the more large one at the back and lowered the opacity.

..............................

HnC Cacky

http://i44.tinypic.com/nyzckh.png

Added in a few clipping masks and lowered the opacity.

Added a light black and white gradient map, set to screen and lowered the opacity.

RedstaR

I smudged and blurred the background and then sharpened to add depth added a high pass and then a white to transparent gradient on the sword/face down to his chest and then gaussian blurred it set it to overlay then blurred the sword because it looked really pixely.

..............................

Zippy

http://i527.photobucket.com/albums/cc352/jobeclose23/ALLINONE.png

Added C4D at Overlay 100%, erased parts covering the focal and blurred the edges slightly.

iTz x AmPeD

First I added stars/orbs using the sparkle brush kit. After that I added a little bit of lighting to the top of the sword, & very lightly on wraiths eyes as well as the bottom of his sword (the two circle pieces). Then I erased parts of the sparkle kit around the renders face area and set the layer to grain merge at 100%. After that I added a dark blue and light purple gradient map which I set to color at around 35%

..............................

Skillet

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h23/Skillet98/ALLINONE.png

Blurred around the edges a bit, sharpened the focal, and added a couple of color adjustment layers to take away some of the monotonous color... basically just added depth.

..............................

Wii187

Added some definition to the face and hair.

I got rid of some of the purple and tried to add a bit more depth by sharpening his face and slightly blurring parts of the background and shoulders.

Rowey 94

Did some color balance so it's not that purple anymore and added the text..

Anyone on x360a can use this sig at anytime but try and use your own host if possible.

Thank Alleyooped.

Its going to look like a big tutorial but each person is going to bring something different to it because no to styles are exactly the same.

For example: We'll keep it one render/focal only.

Person 1

http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq243/PEA88/step1eg.png

Started off with a dark grey background then added a crumpled paper

texture and set it to overlay 70%.

Person 2

http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq243/PEA88/step2eg.png

Blurred some of the paper texture and added a c4d to dodge 100%.

Person3

http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq243/PEA88/step3eg.png

I added a gradient map purple to orange set it to multiply 100% and also

added light in the top left corner and set that to 40% grain merge.

If everyone does something little like that I think it will turn out pretty good.

Come on people it'll be fun I promise :p lol.

im in, but what if people have photoshop and others use gimp; you cant save the layers in gimp and open it up in photoshop with layers dont think.

It doesn't matter what program you use because after the person above you has done their bit, you'll right click the image that they posted and save/download it. Open it in GIMP, Photoshop, Paint.net or any other program, then do what you want to it and save it as a .png and post it.

So we wont be using other peoples layered files.
