-Does difficulty affect achievements?: Nope!

-Glitchy achievements: None!

I'll be doing a roadmap/guide for each game individually, as this is a collection of three games.

Step 1: Super Hang-On

Super Hang-On is an arcade-style racing game. It's fairly simple and straightforward, just adjust the settings to make it easier (see The Goal Is Just The Beginning achievement for settings. Shouldn't take more than 30 minutes, tops for the whole 65 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png relating to this game.

Step 2: Revenge of Shinobi

To get all the achievements in Revenge of Shinobi, you must do a full playthrough of the game, getting the Good Ending (by saving Naoko during the last boss fight) without using a continue. If you get stuck during the game, there's a great guide on GameFAQs, as well as a map of level 8-2 that made the level trivial. About 2 hours to get the whole 65 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png relating to this game.

Step 3: Alex Kidd in Miracle World

To get all the achievements in Alex Kidd in Miracle World, you must beat the game once, and a few levels without getting hit. There are no options to edit here, but if you use Save States the game is a breeze, and a lot of fun. Reminds me of the classic Super Mario Bros. After 1 playthrough you should net 75 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png relating to this game. There are guides everywhere online showing which combinations to use for the "Janken" or Rock, Paper, Scissors boss fights, so the overall runthrough of the game is not that difficult. Also you can always use save states if you're running into trouble.

Super Hang-On

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/+SauJA==.jpg Totally Radical! 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Rode for 10 seconds on turbo in Super Hang-on.

To use Turbo in this game, you must be going 280km/h (top speed). Then, hold down :bbut: or :rbbut: to use Turbo. I recommend tapping the Turbo button around corners, so you don't drop in speed causing the turbo to break and having to start over again. Fairly easy on the first few stages of Beginner mode.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/+MZWtw==.jpg Melodies of the Wind 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Listened to all 4 songs in Super Hang-on.

Simply listen to all 4 songs in the game while riding. You choose the songs by pressing :lbbut: in the menu after selecting a course to play. After starting the race, you can press :back: to bring up the pause menu and quit out, then select the remaining songs on repeat plays. Achievement will pop in game after choosing the last track.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/+udfAg==.jpg In Control 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Rode for 1 minute without hitting anything in Super Hang-on.

Fairly simple really. Just drive without hitting anything for at least 1 minute. Make sure you don't use turbo, watch out around corners and especially around other riders, and you should get this with no troubles at all.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/+Vmyww==.jpg The Goal Is Just the Beginning 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Finished a course in Super Hang-on.

Here's how to make this really easy. During the stage select screen, press :back: and then go down to Help & Options, then to Game Settings. Choose the following options:

Game Version -> Mini Ride-on Type

Difficulty -> Easy

Time Limit -> Very Easy

Demo Sound -> On

This gives you more time to finish the laps, and less aggressive AI. Select Africa as the course. Just use Turbo, don't hit too many obstacles and you'll be fine. Achievement pops at the end.

Revenge of Shinobi

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/+b9X6w==.jpg Shinobi Watches 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Stood atop the brick pillar in 3-1 in Revenge of Shinobi. Ninja style!

Not very long into level 3-1 you will come to this spot. You'll see a brick wall. Double jump onto this from the foreground and the achievement is yours.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/-B28Eg==.jpg Shuriken Starburst 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Demonstrated Joe Musashi's 8-way Shuriken Attack in Revenge of Shinobi.

Double jump by pressing :bbut: once to jump, then once again at the apex of your jump. Then press :ybut: or :abut: to do the 8 Way Shuriken attack.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/-f1EgQ==.jpg A Clash With Evil 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Defeated the Round 1 boss without using the 8-way Shuriken Attack in Revenge of Shinobi.

A little tricky until you get the rhythm down. To defeat this boss, walk toward him until he attacks with his sword. When he does, back out of range, jump and throw a star at his face. Repeat about 8-10 times until the boss explodes. Avoid double-jumping so you don't use the 8 Way Shuriken attack by accident.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/-9xNNA==.jpg Shinobi Forever! 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Rescued Naoko without using a continue in Revenge of Shinobi.

To unlock this achievement, complete Revenge of Shinobi with the Good Ending (saving Naoko) without using a continue. There are a couple of ways to cheat this. I did this in about two hours, using a GameFAQs guide, save states as well as changing the in-game options to Easy (which starts you with 9 lives) as well as if you change the Shurikens to 00, after about 10-15 seconds in the menu, it merges to an infinity sign, thus granting you unlimited shurikens. Run through the game using the 8 Way Shuriken attack, and saving often, it's not all that hard.

For the final boss fight I recommend you have at least 2 or 3 Magic Attacks and enter the boss with an Attack Power-Up (you can find one right outside the final door before the end of the level, hidden in the wall). Use the invincibility Magic and melee the boss repeatedly. Rinse and repeat until he explodes. You'll notice the ceiling lowering on to Naoko. You have to beat the boss before the ceiling crushes her. You can slow it down by throwing a shuriken at the black holes on either side of the wall, but if you relentlessly attack the boss you should be able to kill him before the ceiling drops halfway. (I did, but I had 3 magic powerups and the attack powerup before the battle started).

Alex Kidd in Miracle World

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/+LlKUA==.jpg Octopus Sushi 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Defeated both giant octopi in Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

You'll get this achievement on level 3. You'll come across red octopi.

They're pretty obvious which enemies they are to look at. To defeat them, you must punch their tentacles until they die. With each punch, it will take away a chunk of tentacle. Repeat until they die. A little tricky due to the underwater controls. Don't forget you can exploit save states to get the achievements.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/+55eXg==.jpg Copter Rider 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Had a snack on the Petit-Copter in Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

To unlock this achievement, you must collect the riceball at the end of stage 5 while in the helicopter. It's a fairly simple task, as you can use save states and whatnot to make it easier. If you hit a red balloon with the rotors of your helicopter, or get hit by an enemy, load up a save state.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/+n6mzQ==.jpg Boat Cruise 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Clear Stage 9 while on the Suisui Boat in Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

To unlock this achievement, you must collect the riceball at the end of stage 9 while in the speed boat. This is harder than the helicopter achievement merely because of how hard the speed boat is to control. You use left and right on the D-Pad to control your speed, :abut: to jump and :xbut: to fire. Make it to the end without getting hit by a balloon or an enemy, grab the riceball and achievement unlocked.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2286/+F+veA==.jpg Mission Complete 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Cleared every stage in Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

Simply play through all 17 levels. There's a great guide on GameFAQs that shows exactly what to do for the Janken duels, as well as which patterns on the floor to step on during the final level as well. Overall a pretty quick playthrough. If you're running into trouble, make sure to use your save states as well.

Thanks for the guide just wanted to ask you left out the achievement for completing Alex Kidd and my question is do you have to have the autographed letter to continue on while speaking to the king ?

never mind you do need the letter but it's almost impossible to miss in the castle thanks again for the guide

Was left out due to wanting to get a guide up before finish all of Alex Kidd. Now that I have the 200, the guide is 100% complete.

I didn't find the autograph letter for the king. When I ran into him in Level 12 he basically told me "I dont want to talk to you", then I ate the riceball, and finished the level. I still managed to get all the achievements for Alex Kidd, so it's not necessary to finish the game.

Here is a MUCH easier way to earn "A Clash With Evil": Just use the Jitsu of Mijin, which costs you a life but gives you another ninjitsu attack. If you're playing on easy, two of these will kill the boss and you'll unlock it without having thrown a single shuriken.

Just incase anyone wants to know, the letter ye seek is in the Radaxian Castle. After rescuing Alex's Brother.

Thanks, I'll add it to the guide, with credit to you of course. I didn't know how to switch magic until later in the game, so I wasn't aware of how awesome that Jitsu was.

Great guide!

The Shinobi Forever! achievement is an absolute bitch but I followed your guide for the final boss and did it second time. Just get the power up before you go to the boss, use the invincibility magic then get as close as you can and mash the attack button. I only had one magic so once I lost my invincibility I hurt him then jumped backwards missing the hair attack and got back close to him as quick as possible. Doing it that way I saved the girl with about a second to spare.

I'm not sure Alex Kidd is only 2/10 this monkey gets 1hit 1killed. Shinobi was really easy and most especially fun. The reason I bought this game was because of Shinobi. Otherwise great guide for the other two games at least. Honestly if you base that difficulty off of the use of save states that kinda pointless since you can use save states in pretty much all these sega games.
