MAIN STORY ACHIEVEMENTS

When going for the no failing achievements make sure you go to the dashboard if you die on a level. You can afford up to 9 fails but I wouldn't go that high. About 1 fail one each chapter is fine just be sure to go to the dashboard the second you die.

Complete the game without failing 10 times.

In order to obtain this achievement you must complete the game without dying more than 10 times. It's really not that hard and you should easily be able to get this on your first go.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/-NcEfQ-1.jpgNot a Novice Anymore 40G

Complete the game (awarded just before credits)

Simply beat all the chapters and as it says it will be given before the credits.

For these 2 achievements your total score from every mission must equal either 5,000,000 or 10,000,000. You can replay levels after the game. To score really big points don't get hit on a level and it will multiply your end score by 2.

CHARACTER ACHIEVEMENTS

All of these are obtained in story mode and can also be done in the Monster Challenges.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/s6.jpgDefying Gravity 50G

Jump 150 times with each monster.

Not as annoying as is sounds. I was worried at first that I would need to keep jumping but trust me you will get this one in about the 3rd chapter. It's pretty much required that you jump 150 with each character.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/-Tf87g.jpgFlying Fish 20G

Perform 50 Leap Attacks with The Missing Link.

You get this by holding (X) and letting go. Don't rush to do it, it will come in time because you have to use it a lot in all of the challenges that you do.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPnTSoE.jpgJust Warming Up 10G

Defeat 50 enemies with The Missing Link.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPoSu6c.jpgCan't Get Enough! 20G

Defeat 100 enemies with The Missing Link.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPvyQzQ.jpgCould I be any better than this? 35G

Defeat 300 enemies with The Missing Link.

The above 3 achievements are easily obtained before chapter 4. It once again is a must that you kill at least 300 enemies anyways while playing the game and challenges.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPwUF4.jpgBull Rider 10G

Destroy 10 Turrets using the Rodeo mode while climbing with The Missing Link.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UP5QqM0.jpgCowboy Master 20G

Destroy 30 Turrets using the Rodeo mode while climbing with The Missing Link.

The above 2 achievements are for whacking a turret with (X) or (Y) and then pressing (B) to jump on it and destroy it. Just do this to every turret you see and you will get it in no time.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPxxoXg.jpgStrike with Attitude 10G

Use The Missing Link’s Leap Attack for the first time.

Achieved in the first level as him when you are required to perform the move before moving on.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UP8akI0.jpgExpert Pitcher 10G

Throw 25 enemies with The Missing Link.

You will get this also before the end of the game because you are required to throw enemies at certain objects to activate or destroy them. It will come in time so don't worry about rushing it.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UP76aB4.jpgPinball Fan 10G

Use the Bumpers for the first time.

You will get this while playing story as it is required to progress through the story line.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/-48MlA.jpgAround the World 10G

Use the Pole Vault for the first time.

You will get this while playing story as it is required to progress through the story line.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPuNX9M.jpgGreat Tackler 15G

Destroy 10 drones with Ginormica’s dash.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPuNX9M.jpgMaster Tackler 20G

Destroy 25 drones with Ginormica’s dash.

For the Above 2 achievements. Drones are the roller skating giant robots on your race track that you must press (X) to ram into. Doing the story and challenges will get you this in no time.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPptp0A.jpgGet Out of the Way 10G

Use Ginormica’s chain dash for the first time.

The chain dash is when you ram one drone then it will tell you to hit a specific button to charge the other drone. This isn't obtained till the 3rd chapter when you are taught how to do it.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/-m-0Bw.jpgBring it On 10G

Defeat a Beam Bot without getting hit.

On the 2nd chapter at the end of the first level with Susan you are faced with a giant robot with 3 eyes. It will lay lasers done and you have to avoid it. Very easy achievement and is also a challenge. So you get this one if your going for the Gold Medal achievement.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPzbYas.jpgGlutton 15G

Swallow 20 enemies/objects with B.O.B.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/i3nbQ.jpgGourmet 30G

Swallow 50 enemies/objects with B.O.B.

For the above 2 achievements you just need to swallow boxes, enemies, or aliens. These 2 achievements will come in no time if you finish the story and work on the challenges.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UP07mTg.jpgMachine Gun Specialist 20G

Complete one B.O.B. Turret sequence without being hit.

Easily done on the first level as B.O.B. when you need to take down the helicopter. Just shield yourself a lot and shoot everything down. This is also a challenge so you will get this if going for the Gold Medal achievement.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPiZcsE.jpgSafety First 10G

Activate B.O.B.’s Shield for the first time.

Just press the left trigger to activate it. You will get this achievement on the first level as B.O.B.

DNA CHAIN ACHIEVEMENTS

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/80f-g.jpgCasual Collector 20G

Collect 100,000 monster DNA particles in the game.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/ewWSw.jpgNever Say Enough 70G

Collect 500,000 monster DNA particles in the game.

For the above 2 you must collect a ton of the DNA dots spread all over the maps, there are a ton of them and you most likely collect the 100,000 way before the game is over. But to get the 500,000 you must go back and replay levels over and over to get it. Kind of time consuming but its not that hard.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UP0IoCQ.jpgFull Arsenal 30G

Buy all upgrades for all characters (Green nodes).

Simply purchase all 13 green nodes.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPzoWLc.jpgTwo is Better than One 15G

Buy all coop upgrades (Light Blue nodes).

Simply purchase all 10 light blue nodes.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UP7JUQI.jpgArt Aficionado 30G

Buy every concept art (Yellow nodes).

Simply purchase all 51 yellow nodes.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/--AQcw.jpgShopping Frenzy 15G

Buy all surprises available (Purple nodes).

Simply purchase all 45 purple nodes.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPl5ilI.jpgOlympic Champion 10G

Get a medal for all Monster Challenges.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPtYgc.jpgGold Olympic Champion 30G

Get a Gold Medal for all Monster Challenges

The above 2 achievements are for completing the monster challenges that are found in the DNA strand. There are 36 of them and you must get gold on all of them. Most of them are frustrating and will take a lot of trial and error. This achievement was the most time consuming for me as it was the most annoying.

CO-OP ACHIEVEMENTS

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UP8pqZE.jpgThat’s a Blast 10G

Have a team-mate use the Charge Blast for the first time in Coop.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPtruvs.jpgCollateral Damage 10G

Have a team-mate Destroy 30 EyeScouts and Helicopters in Ginormica levels in Coop.

For the above 2 achievements just start Susan's first level and press (A) on the second controller than hold the charge and let go, after fire away on every helicopter you see even the ones holding the lasers.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPlKs04.jpgAir Support Master 20G

Have a team-mate Destroy 100 BHolders in The Missing Link and B.O.B. levels in Coop.

On the 3rd chapter run through the first missing link stage and with the second controller shoot down every flying eyeball looking thing you see in the stage. Once completed redo that stage again and you should get it after the first 10 eyeballs you destroy.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPqLQmg.jpgStrong Attraction 10G

Have a team-mate use the Tractor Beam for the first time in Coop.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPiqS90-1.jpgMaximum Attraction 10G

Have a team-mate Tractor 50 enemies in The Missing Link and B.O.B. levels in Coop.

For the above 2 achievements start the first level as The Missing Link and press (A) on the second controller than press (Y) to activate tractor beam and use it on an enemy. After go to the spot where you are told to use your leap attack for the first time and then just go tractor beam crazy.

"looks in the air and shakes fist violently as he screams YOUNIKORN!!!!"

ok so that was a Star Trek Wrath of Khan reference but anyways...

Good guide. Missed my opportunity to make another guide but I am ok with it since you made one that is good.:woop:

Are you sure you have to start over from the dashboard. I was at nine fails in Chapter 3 and I died so I just quit and reloaded from last save. I then died again and did the same thing. When I finished the level I got the achievement for not dying more then 10 times. I can try again to confirm or have you done so?

Once again Good Guide and this was actually a pretty fun game. Tedious but fun.

Sorry! :( I didn't know anyone else wanted to do a guide, but it was killing me that there wasn't one. & no I haven't confirmed it but I just said that out of safety

Thank you for the wonderful guide! I got the not dying on Chapter 2 achievement, but missed the first not dying one. Do I have to wait until after I've beaten the game to get it and the not failing 10 times ones for the whole game?

I believe your going to have to run through the whole game again since you already have 10 deaths seeing as how you didn't get the achievement for the first level.

No worries. You made a good guide. I still got a level to beat :p.

I will try some experimenting and let you know any more details about the whole "failing" achievements.

its a good guide but it seems like it could use a little more information in each achievement
I was just about to suggest the same thing. Some more in depth info would be nice. Like for example: for the No Fail achievements, you should say if you can do it in Scene Select or not etc.

Well seeing as if you have played the game you would automatically know that playing a chapter and it ending just wont work because it just ends. Yet with the story it continues back to back. & really I'd put more if well it required more but for an easy kids game like this where most of the achievements require nothing but to read the achievement to understand it. Theres really nothing to most of these achievements.

you know when you just wish you had read the guide first before you start playing, Im sure ive died 10 times already and cant be bothered to do the whole game again. ohhh well. Decent enough guide mate. BUT I agree with the others. Bit more info.

Y0UNIK0RN, have you read the guide on how to write Achievement Guides? I suggest you read that before you say you don't need more info. Check it out here:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=61662

Especially the part where it says this:

NEXT: Achievement Detail (Make it descriptive.) Do not assume the guide's user will have any previous knowledge of the game, the system, the controller or anything! Go into so much detail that your head hurts after writing the guide. This goes double for sports games, you cannot assume that the player is familiar with the sport.
This pretty much says you need more info. Nuff said. Edited by ezekiel 08

I love this site but I'm not into doing everything the way someone else says it must be. If your going to paint something you want to do what you want, not just do it according to what someone says must be done. & for things that really need info I've put it in there and for others like kill 300 people. Really why assume someone is dumb enough to where they can't figure something like that out? If they are on an achievement site, used for achievements and they are able to go out and buy the game and turn on the xbox and come on here reading guides on how to get achievements then there not that stupid. There are games that would need more info such as sports games. Although simple even I need help but with a game like that. Is it to be assumed that someone can't figure out that oh the X button does this and the achievement says kill that guy, but I still don't get it? I'd hate to assume there was someone that stupid on this site. Everyone on here is intelligent enough. If we can't figure out something thats so simple than really why even bother anymore. anyways I'm done ranting. I got to into that. :p

Well if you love the site then you should follow the guides people have spent more time than you have making yours. They have much more experiance writing guides and you should strive to create a quality guide, something to be proud of. You can't just pick and choose what rules/guides to follow. If you're going to be an active member of this community, then do your best to improve it by writing the best guide possible.

Also, you didn't answer my question: did you read that guide (the Achievement Guide guide I linked to) before you wrote this guide? I think not...

Use Ginormica’s chain dash for the first time.

The chain dash is when you ram one drone then it will tell you to hit a specific button to charge the other drone. This isn't obtained till the 3rd chapter when you are taught how to do it.

What scene in Chapter 3 is this done in? I just completed Chapter 3 and didn't get this achievement. I still haven't even been taught how to do it yet and I'm on Chapter 4.

EDIT: Nevermind. PS3T.org had my answer. It seems you must first purchase it from the DNA lab. It becomes available for purchase after Chapter 1, Scene 4. Should be added to the guide.

Lol. This is exactly what I'm talking about... I was watching my girlfriend play this game and it never once told her about Ginormica’s chain dash attack.

Also, here is another bad achievement description:

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/-Tf87g.jpgFlying Fish 20G

Perform 50 Leap Attacks with The Missing Link.

You get this by holding (X) and letting go. Don't rush to do it, it will come in time because you have to use it a lot in all of the challenges that you do.

Why are you telling people not to rush it? Maybe some people want to rush it as they aren't finishing the game or whatever. People can get the achievements however they want. It's the guide writers job to tell people the fastest and easiest way to get the achievements.

You could say something like:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To perform the special Leap Attack with The Missing Link, you first have to hold down http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/x.png until the attack is fully charged. When you are ready and have enough enemies on the screen, release http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/x.png to unleash the attack. Highlight as many enemies on the screen (with the left thumb stick) as The Missing Link will one-hit KO all highlighted enemies. For the achievement to unlock, you must perform this special attack a total of 50 times. There is no need to rush this (unless you want the achievement quicker) as you will be using The Missing Link allot and have plenty of enemies to beat before the end of the game. If you still don't manage to unlock this before beating the game, you can replay any of The Missing Link's levels to work on this achievement.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, isn't that a better achievement description?

Fair and square you win this one. I was just being stubborn as its in my nature. Even admitting your right is killing me as I type :uzi::p. I'll add in more stuff tomorrow when I get off work. If you have anything to add please share.

I'm just trying to uphold the high standard (for the main part) of guides this site produces. I hate seeing people writing sloppy guides if the game is a 'kiddy' game or not a blockbuster title. All games deserve the best possible guide. That's what makes this site so much better than some other achievement sites.

I don't have much to add as I only played this game very briefly and thought it was terrible :). Just write the best you can, the more info the better it will help people.

One small thing though. Where you've just 'stacked' the achievements like so:

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPuNX9M.jpgGreat Tackler 15G

Destroy 10 drones with Ginormica’s dash.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPuNX9M.jpgMaster Tackler 20G

Destroy 25 drones with Ginormica’s dash.

For the Above 2 achievements. Drones are the roller skating giant robots on your race track that you must press (X) to ram into. Doing the story and challenges will get you this in no time.

It's a good practice to add 'see "[achievement name]"'. Using the above example, here is what I mean:

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPuNX9M.jpg

Great Tackler - 15G

Destroy 10 drones with Ginormica’s dash.

See "Master Tackler"

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPuNX9M.jpg

Master Tackler - 20G

Destroy 25 drones with Ginormica’s dash.

For the Above 2 achievements. Drones are the roller skating giant robots on your race track that you must press (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/x.png) to ram into. Doing the story and challenges will get you this in no time.

You can then get rid of "For the Above 2 achievements". Also, the coloured titles and descriptions looks a bit odd, but that's just personal taste :).

Get a score of 5,000,000.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Folvex/UPmfb3o.jpgBe my Guest 50G

Get a score of 10,000,000.

For these 2 achievements your total score from every mission must equal either 5,000,000 or 10,000,000. You can replay levels after the game. To score really big points don't get hit on a level and it will multiply your end score by 2.

With these i think you need to make it more obvious that the game only counts your highest score for a level for example if you play a level twice and get 500,000 points each time then your score wont be 1 million it will still only be 500,000. It sounds obvious but it threw me for a while.

I just did the color scheme to match the game. Trying to spice it up :woop: and about the see this achievement and such only reason for that was for some reason it kept saying I didn't have enough room so I had to take out what I could. Because I was getting frustrated. This game made me a little angry.
