Achievement Guide & Roadmap

Recommended Posts

Regarding the campaign/co-op achievements. If you do missions 1-6 on normal by yourself, and then do 7-12 on elite and co-op - can you just come back and do 1-6 on elite co-op and bleep bloop? Does it all have to be done consecutive or can it be done piecemeal like gears 3?

Counter-Intelligence 10G

Interrupt an enemy's attempt to data hack a teammate 5 times, by killing or stunning the enemy

This one is a little tricky, only because its hard to come across this happening. You will have to kill a Scout enemy who downed one of your teammates. The enemy will be standing over your teammate. At this time, either shoot them or melee them get your kill.Again, you can press :rbbut: to follow a specific teammate or, if you play with friends, follow them and hopefully get downed by a Scout enemy.

*Don't think it has to be done in one game. Can anyone confirm ?

Just a correction, you can be any class for data hacking since they can be stunned with a stun gun (Secondary or Under barrel) or downed. Same goes for the Coordinated kills description.

I'm curious, for the Good Enough for Government Work achievement, can I just replay missions that I completed with a score lower than 80% and still get it? Or do I have to make another play-through from start to finish with above 80% on each? And good job on the guide. It has definitely helped me understand some of these achievements that don't exactly say what you're supposed to do. ("Especially" the domination achievements)

You just have to replay them. The game has NO tracking though, so you will have to personally remember what ones you didn't get over 80 on.

Thanks for the clear up. I thought the scout was the only one who could hack so I never really bothered carrying a stun gun while as a rifleman/engineer

Thanks, I've got a piece of paper beside me and I've been checking off what Tactical Challenges I've done and what score I got.

It remembers the challenges, but it would still be easier to manually record them. Otherwise you'll have to do what I'm going to have to - load every level just to check if they're ticked xD

If you want to have faster data hacking you could use the Engineer with his Field Computer equipment (First decision). It makes data hacking much faster so you don't end up getting killed in the middle of it.

Also Backup, Counter-Intelligence, Recon Specialist and Actionable Intel can be done across multiple matches.

This is wrong. You can see your best ghost score in the menu before you start the mission. I believe if you click X to look at the challenges and then click RB you can find your ghost score for the mission. I'll reaffirm this later.

I have also posted a guide for Decoy Domination as I just got it yesterday and I thought the achievement description was not that great. Here is the link:

http://www.trueachievements.com/a164267/decoy-domination-achievement.htm?showguides=1

It's rather long, but all you really need to know is that it must be done in squad matches and you have to guess the key objective right on the first try (five times), without selecting one of the two decoy objectives while you are the attacking team.

Well I just tried what you said and also tried pressing other buttons and looking for anything that might help you see what you've completed in the campaign and I couldn't find anything. If you do find a way and I'm just completely blind that would be helpful.

I was referring only to the achievement you originally asked about, which is the Good Enough for Government Work achievement. You can see your best ghost score by selecting the mission through Mission Select and starting up the level. On the Briefing screen, push X for Challenges and then click RB. This takes you to the Statistics tab where it says your GT and then GHOST SQUAD SCORE XX/100.

You can skip the videos before the briefing screen so it really doesn't take that long. Just select each mission, check your statistics for ghost squad score and do the missions you did not get at least an 80 on.

Ohhhhhhhh, I didn't even think about the briefing screen. I was looking on the Mission Select screen. Thanks a lot, that should help narrow down my search.

I am questioning the difficulty in the Ghost score guide.

When I went through the first mission in Co-op in Elite, we did horribly and got something like 50%.

So I went through the level again by myself later, in Recruit. Doing it as "Ghostly" as I thought I could, I finished with an almighty 100%. So does difficulty have anything to do with it?

Why does the guide say you have to kill a Scout enemy? All of the classes are able to hack a downed enemy player, it's not limited to the Scout. And you don't even have to kill them, you can kill them or stun them, you just have to interupt the hack that the enemy is performing on your downed teammate.

Call, Answered 35G

Complete all Tours of Duty

This achievement and the tie in achievements will take you some time and dedication on the multiplayer. You will have to win 3 different MP game modes, Conflict, Saboteur, Siege & Decoy. Choose one game mode until you have won on each map, then switch game modes and do the same. I suggest making a checklist of the maps name and what game modes you have won on them.

First off the achievement description says you have to win three different multiplayer game modes and then you list four. This has nothing to do with the game modes, just the maps. It says so in each of the three "Tour Of Duty" indivdiual achievements. You simply need to have three wins on each of the maps listed in each individual "Tour Of Duty" achievement to unlock "Call Answered."

Short story: You need to win three games of any game mode on every map shipped with the game to unlock all four of the associated "Tour Of Duty" achievements.

I have a question I'm not sure if anybody has answered. I just skimmed through the guide and didn't look too deep into the rest of the posts.

I've got a solid 10 hours into the MP as of right now, and I know for a fact I've won games. I'd be pretty unlucky and terrible to have not won a single game after 10 hours just by chance anyways. Ha Anyways, when I go to my stats, the game tells me that I have 0 wins, is there anything I'm doing wrong? I'm wondering if this is going to screw with my Tour of Duty achievements. I've been switching it up with game types, and been playing mainly quick matches. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Any help or tips?

Could you point out what achievements has a grammar or spelling error please ?

The 'Master Tactician' Achievement is missing the 's' in it. haha

The 'NOTE:' in Total Domination should be "If you're NAT..."

Actionable Intel Achievement: "For this CHOOSE the..." (Says choice)

Just a couple I've seen. I wasn't sure if the PM you got had those included.

Coordinated Assault:

While in a multiplayer mode, and on an offensive role, hold RB (Right Bumper), and select the objective from the wheel.

Now just run to the objective to unlock the achievement. If you die, just respawn and try again.
