Tortyreus
Does anyone know if DA3 will be in style of the second game or the first game? 'Cause if it's like the second game I won't even bother thinking about getting it..
cmaprice
I love the second game. It isn't without its faults, but I feel like the characters are stronger, and setting it in one city over the course of a decade had me hooked. Plus, having the protagonist voiced really helped make it feel more cinematic. Probably the best aspect of the game, putting more personality into the playable character. It of course wasn't without its faults. I wish they allowed more customization of your allies, and many of the plot threads made choices pretty irrelevant to the outcome. I felt DAII was two steps forward, one step back. I'd like to see a voiced protagonist in DAIII and some more RPG elements infused back into it. If we could get Tal-Vashoth Saarebas in our party in the next game, I'd be pretty happy. Or a "reformed" Desire Demon perhaps? Both of those character types have such amazing character designs, and both could make for interesting character arcs.
Homaz
Dragon Age wasn't as nice as Mass Effect was, but I'll give the third game a chance. Hopefully it will be better than the other ones.
TriRock
Dragon Age 2 is by no means a bad game, but it suffers the Godfather III syndrome. The first installment was so fantastic, that the sequel just couldn't live up to the expectations. If it was called something else than 'Dragon Age', people would be more favourable towards it. Jack Peters
the first game was amazing and the second went a little bit down hill but apparently they are putting the good bits from the first two games together so dragon age 3 is probably going to be amazing
Aeterna Hope
I havent completely beaten DA:O so i havent gotten to 2 yet :/ hope i have enough time to play it before 3 comes out
Kal El Fornia
Don't wait up on the Ultimate Edition of DA2. They aren't making it since retailers (Gamestop, Wal-Mart, etc.) aren't interested in selling it.
SKORPIONxKNIGHT
the first game was great the second one was good hope this one is better then both of them
The False Deity
Eh I own DA 2 just haven't gotten around to playing it yet...No rush since I probably wont get DA 3 for awhile after its release but still hope its good
Darker Hollow
You should definitely play the main story of DA2, very interesting way everything unfolds lol. The DLCs are worth it too; you'll receive some good armor sets and buffs from all 3. Achievements are about on the same level of difficult as the first game's. kushlash23
DA:O is still one of my top games of all time. I think on it's own DA2 is a good game, but compared to the first and the rush job they did, it was a letdown.
kushlash23
Also, I think this game is going to be up there with The Witcher 3 as my game of the year. Can't wait.
NessCraig
I like Dragon Age 2 better! Is this blasphemous? There are some great GREAT stories in Dragon Age Origins but I am a "shiny" guy. Dragon Age 2 just did fighting better and I enjoyed the voice actors and the romance options better.
Pipkins379
I agree with you! I actually loved a lot of things better in DragonAge 2. I understand the complaints people had and sometimes walking into the same cave that was supposed to be 10 locations felt a bit lazy but I really enjoyed the characters and storyline and so much else more than DA1. MrkDhn10
I loved the first DA which is why the second was such a let down from my POV. That said, when I went back to DA2 a year or so later, it is actually a pretty enjoyable game albeit with waaaaay too many re-used locations. OT I have already pre-ordered DA3 in the hope Bioware have indeed listened and produce something suitable epic! Do we know if Flemeth makes a return? WipeoutBoy1
Enjoyed DA2 demo but decided to wait for goty to arrive. Never did so never bought it.
dark_shard
Yeah, DA2 is nowhere near as good as Origins was. There are a lot of good things about the game though. The inter-character relationships and dialogue is still top-notch bioware.
eternal spark
Can't wait for this game!
Pyrochaos
I've been playing the second because I finally wanted to finish it before this comes out. There are a lot of flaws with game (repeat environments, combat is repetitive, choices don't matter, ect.) It seems more targeted at action gamers or people new to RPG games. It just doesn't hold a candle to the first in my opinion. I think since DA:O sold so well, EA rushed Bioware to put out a sequel. Either way I hope the backlash they received from DA2 makes DA:I a better game.
Xylose Kepeli
I don't think MP would be horrible if done like ME3. Either way this game will be great. Hope it is a combo of the first two games in terms of story of DA:O and combat of II.
