Dz06lt
Crytek who was already developing Homefront 2 now owns the IP, they purchased from THQ in their bankruptcy liquidations. THQ dissolved - GameSpot.com Homefront franchise Winning bid: $544,218 - Crytek Backup bidder: None Honestly i loved the first game although it felt unfinished. Hopefully Crytek can make this a winner
Hybrid
Any idea if this will affect the Homefront severs?
Son of Kyuss
Any idea if this will affect the Homefront severs? It's too early to say, but I doubt it. The servers have remained up despite Kaos Studios having closed shortly after Homefront's release and that was all the way back in 2011.

This however is different Crytek will have to handle a switchover at some point, but before that they may go offline
aspeedomodel
I cannot wait for this game. I love that Crytek purchased it, showing they were happy with the progress and what they saw so far with development.
