Introduction:

If you were expecting a poker game with Danny, Uncle Jesse, D.J., and little Michelle, this is not that game. Full House Poker is the first Windows Phone 7 game to feature Avatar support, as well as connectivity to the Xbox 360 with the Xbox Live Arcade version of the game. An exploit makes it REALLY easy to level up/increase bank roll on WP7 which will give you a distinct head start on the XBLA game, as well as making this game's achievements a piece of cake. Therefore, YOU NEED LITTLE TO NO POKER KNOWLEDGE TO 200/200 this game. The game costs $2.99/£2.49 on Windows Phone 7.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:

First things first: EXPLOIT THE TRIAL VERSION

This isn't the 'Major XP/Money' exploit, but exploiting the trial version of the game will give you a head start on the achievements. The trial version only features 5 hands and then they repeat. Essentially you know exactly what cards you are going to get! Better yet, is that you can keep repeating this process, all while loading up achievements that will unlock once you purchase the game! I exited the game via the Windows button a few times and was able to come back and not lose my trial progress. Sometimes when I came back the hands had the slightest of difference, but I could always count on my third hand being a pair of aces! In poker this is the practically the best thing you could be dealt.

So in the trial, start a tournament with two players, and once you get your pair of aces, raise your bet every time, preferably the minimum amount without checking. Almost all AI opponents will match you, as they have an Ace-Eight hand. In the last opportunity to bet after all the cards are on the table, go all-in (betting everything). The AI should follow. I tried this dozens of times and always won. You should receive the following achievements:

Hero Call

Ding! Grats!

Headshot

Pull the Trigger

Bucket List #12,471

Big Dog

Repeat this scenario in a 2nd Tournament, except this time, DO NOT RAISE; Only call. Then You shall receive: Sandbagger. I did not receive Pay the Mortgage in either of these games strangely. I repeated this exploit a few times and then got it.

Note that you can leave the game anytime during the trial with the Windows button, but if you exit the game through the menu (after it asks if you would like to purchase) you will lose your progress. You will keep all your process if you Purchase the game through the menu. Your achievements will unlock when you start the game up again.

***THIS WAS PATCHED*** ***STAY TUNED FOR AN UPDATE TO THE GUIDE/MAP***

Now, BUY THE GAME. Proceed to exploit some more

Now that you have actually purchased the game, it's time for the rest of the achievements. The bulk of these will come from the Pro Takedown mode (unavailable on the trial) with the game's Save and Quit exploit.

Here's how the exploit works:

In Pro Takedown mode, go All-In EVERY HAND. The AI mostly folds when you do this. When they don't, you can Save and Quit after the first three cards are layed down, and you get all the money, and all the XP! Then you go Play>Resume Game, and you can repeat this 2-3 more times before the last card is locked in (so 3-4 times in a single hand). If you are sure you have won, let the animation play out (see why in the next paragraph). If you lost, or are not sure, quit out before the last card is locked in and now start a new game. You get the money and XP each time you quit, and if you were going to lose it was like it never happened.

For Took Down a Pro and You're Not the Boss of Me, you will have to complete and win these exploited hands. Once you have done these two, there really is no reason to see if you won the hand. For Ding! Double Digits!, Ding! Top Dog!, and Rollin' you can leave the hand whether you were going to win or lose.

Repeating this exploit against Daisy Deuce (once unlocked) nets you the most money/xp. This exploit only seems to work in Pro Takedown mode

The Final Table Achievement

Here is where you might need some skill (or might not, depending on the glitch). The All-Pro Tournament is the last in the Pro Takedown mode, and the above exploit does not work! However, myself and a few others have been fortunate enough to have the achievement unlock unexpectedly.

I'll break down what I did and my theory on unlocking this achievement:

-I played in the Final Tournament. I went All-In every time and attempted the money/xp exploit.

-After a Save and Quit and starting a New Game, I noticed the exploit did not work.

-Attempting to get my money back, I played a few different Pro Takedowns to increase my bankroll for another All-Pro tournament buy-in.

-In a match versus Daisy Deuce, we both went All-In, and I knew I had a better hand so I let the hand play out. I won, and oddly got The Final Table achievement.

My theory is that the exploit will not work in the All-Pro tournament (because there are 6 players rather than two), but it WILL unlock if you play out and win another pro takedown, once again using your exploit to win.

Clean-Up Achievements:

Gone Fishing, Cardrack, and Mile High Club depend a little bit on luck, but are not hard. The guide explains these in more detail. I Hate ATM Fees is practically a given and Player of the Century unlocks through natural progression.

Conclusion:

Now that you have beaten the game you can carry over your money and stats to the XBLA version! Get to it!!

Win a tournament.

Download the Trial Version of the game. Start a new tournament with only two players. On your third hand, you should get a pair of Aces. Go All-In, and your opponent AI will almost always call as they have an Ace-Eight. You will win the hand and get most or all of their chips. The same five hands repeat in the trial, so you can do this again if you didn't get all their chips. The achievement unlocks once you purchase the game. Make sure you have done any other 'trial game exploits' before purchasing (see road map for more details)

Alternative Method:

If you have already purchased the game, I would simply go all-in on every hand in the Pro Takedown tournaments. With the Money/Exploit, you should never have to worry about either, so going all-in isn't too much of a risk.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/UPj7KOM=.jpgCardrack 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Win two consecutive hands in the showdown.

This takes some luck, but by no means hard. To make sure the AI doesn't fold, don't raise the pot; only call/check so you can make it to the showdown. Showdown means all the cards have been turned, and the remaining players (usually just two people, but it can be more) have to show their cards to see who won. Excessive betting/raising may scare AI opponents and they will fold before the showdown.

Level up to 50.

This is extremely easy on Windows Phone 7. The Money/XP exploit is explained in detail in the road map, but I'll give you another rundown here.

In Pro Takedowns mode:

-Go All-In every hand against the AI

-When the AI calls you, touch the pause button after the flop (when the dealer lays the first three cards)

-Select Save and Quit*. You will receive all the money and all the xp from the match.

-Select a New** game and repeat.

*Some achievements require you to finish the hand to the achievement. If you know you will win, go ahead and let the hand play out. If you're going to lose or have uncertainty, proceed to Save & Quit, as you can try for achievements in another hand, you still get the money/xp

**You can actually repeat this within the same hand, by Saving & Quitting, then Resuming your hand rather than starting a New game quite yet. You can do this between the the flop and before the the river card is officially set. Ignore this double asterisk advice if you're confused.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/+YYfIQ==.jpgGone Fishing 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Win a showdown with a hand you made on the river.

The river means the final card that the dealer lays down. So, after receiving your first two cards (the hole), the dealer lays three cards (the flop), then one more (the turn), then one last one (the river). So basically you need to win with that last card, as well as making it to the showdown. What I felt worked well, is using the Pro Takedown Money/XP Exploit to get the opponent to go all-in. Watch the river card as it comes flying in. If that card gives you a winning pair, etc., do nothing and get the achievement. If it's the losing card, quickly Pause, Save and Quit, and start a new Pro Takedown and try again.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/+6cWlA==.jpgHeadshot 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Bust another player in a tournament.

Use the method described in "Big Dog".

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/UPraIVY=.jpgHero Call 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Call, raise, or go all in on a bet of half the pot or greater and then win the showdown.

See "Big Dog" above

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/UPy5O4k=.jpgI Hate ATM Fees 5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Play 50 hands in a row without taking a cash advance.

When your bankroll is down to zero, you need to take a 'cash advance'. The higher the advance, the more hands you have to play without owning XP. With the money/xp exploit you can avoid losing money however, and may likely never do an advance. Unless you are foolish with your betting, this should come naturally.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/-CT02A==.jpgMile High Club 5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Won a hand with suited King-Queen hole cards.

This involves pure luck in order to get the two cards. Suited means of the same suit (same color/shape). Once you have the cards, you need to win. Going All-In usually scares the AI to fold (no need to reach the showdown). I got this while doing Pro Takedown exploits. In going for other achievements this scenario happened two other times for me, so be patient and the cards will come.

Take a pot equal to twice the starting chips or greater.

Do this during the trial version, and it will unlock upon purchase. In the trial you always get a pair of aces on your third hand, and then the five hands repeat. Then you can go all-in and win, as one opponent with an ace-eight usually calls your all-in bet.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/-gX9bQ==.jpgPlayer of the Century 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Play 100 hands.

Unlocks through natural progression.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/+Gbnsg==.jpgPull the Trigger 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Bet or raise on every street in a hand and then win the showdown.

Again, in the trial version, on your third hand you get a pair of aces. Raise the minimum amount each chance you get to make sure you don't scare the opponent to fold.

Alternative Method:

If you already have the full version, you can try this on any hand. As mentioned, money is not scarce on Windows Phone 7, so you have nothing to lose. The opponent AI might screw this up because they'll often fold when pushed in any way, or either that they'll go all-in and you can't keep raising. Just be patient.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/-V31hA==.jpgRollin' 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Earn a bankroll of at least 500,000 chips.

Using the money/xp exploit, you can earn 100,000's of chips every few minutes. Play against Daisy Deuce (or your currently highest unlocked player) to maximize this exploit.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/UPkb0HA=.jpgSandbagger 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Do not bet or raise for at least one entire street in a hand and then win the showdown.

In the trial version, once you get your pair of aces, only check or call until the showdown. Achievement unlocks upon purchase of the game.

Alternative Method:

If you already purchased the game, this should still be very easy using the above method.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/+P8efQ==.jpgStylish Host 5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Start a game with customized table and card styles.

When you start your first game, pick a different table and card style.

Win the Pro Tournament.

This achievement sometimes unlocks unexpectedly when you win a Pro Showdown. I detailed above in the road map how I believe this glitch works, and how I ended up getting it to glitch. The money/xp exploit DOES NOT WORK for this achievement so beware. I do believe that trying the exploit once is what helped the glitch however, but like I said read the road map for more details.

If this glitch does not work for you, or you do not understand it, this will be the one achievement where you will have to rely on poker knowledge to get it. I am by no means a poker expert, as it is a complex game of betting, bluffing, and odds. In general, keep and bet on pairs (the higher the better) and look out for straights (five cards in succession) or flushes (5 cards of the same suit), and remember that you share those five cards in the middle! If there are four aces in there, your opponent has them too you know! If you play the game long enough you pick up on AI tendecies, such as checking (not raising bets) often if they don't have a good hand, and when you can scare them by going All-In, and consequently when not to scare them too much, as you want to milk as much money from them as possible before they fold.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/+R-m7g==.jpgTook Down a Pro 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Win a Pro Takedown.

See "You're Not the Boss of Me"

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1772/-pwEog==.jpgYou're Not the Boss of Me 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png

Beat Larry, Lily, or Daisy in a Pro Takedown.

As described in the road map and guide, you can use an exploit to always win money and gain XP in Pro Takedown. To get this achievement, you will have to actually win the hand, so don't quit out during the exploit if you know you are going to win.

so for the all pro tourny you saved and quit then started another pro showdown and the achievement unlocked when you won that?

OK, so, go "inside my head" during this process.

I'm playing the pro tournament: I'm like "i'll do that one exploit i've been doing all this time. I go all-in a few times, and finally someone calls. I save and Quit expecting to keep the money (and hopefully getting the achievement), but I got NOTHING! I lost all the buy in too. I figured I did it wrong (sometimes it doesnt work right), and did it again. ONCE AGAIN I lost my money. So I played some 1v1 takedowns again, and it worked again, and I was doing a 1v1 takedown against Daisy, and I had the better hand so I was like "I'll let it go instead of quitting". So I won and got all my bonuses, and the Final Tournament achievement! I actually won too, I didn't save and quit on Daisy, I won. I farmed money from others without actually winning.

My story is similar to this guys:

Thanks for that great tip! Helped me a lot!

The weird thing is... I lost the final match, fought the cowboy again to get some money. Beat him and the achievement unlocked. Weird...

Which is similar to this one I guess, but he didn't play the last one...hmmmmmm....

I didn't even play the last match as I thought I'd go for the 500k chieveo first and then the chievo popped for that and winning the Tournament after beating Daisy Deuce for the 3rd time. Strange!

Does anyone know what the Cardrack and Pull the Trigger achievements are. Their the only ones I am missing but can't work out how to unlock them.

yeah i was just about to edit my post. i got it to work. you have to start the final table, save and quit, then start a new game against any pro. you must beat them that game to get the glitch to work. i tried the money glitch for more funds and won the final hand and it didnt work but if i quit and saved the all pro match then went straight into a solo pro match, when i won it unlocked.

The Final Table Achievement

-I played in the Final Tournament. I went All-In every time and attempted the money/xp exploit.

-In a match versus Daisy Deuce, we both went All-In, and I knew I had a better hand so I let the hand play out. I won, and oddly got The Final Table achievement.

YES!

This worked perfectly on my first time and unlocked within minutes of playing after trying to do it normally for a long time last night. Finally I have the game completed.

Thank you!! :woop:

The Final Table achievement glitched for me as well. I lost the pro tournament and went to play just a pro to get enough money to get back into the pro tourney. After beating the pro, the achievement unlocked. Even more interesting, I played the tourney on XBLA and then went back to the WP7 version for the game against the single pro.

I am not getting the achievement for "final table" to unlock via the method described, I have however already beat the pro table on XBLA version. The pro table is far harder on wp7 however, at present have failed every attempt.

Any tips for the Pull the Trigger achievement that isnt exploiting the trial version?

amended the guide to add guides to those who already bought the game, thanks for the idea :)

Figured out a new exploit today, and also a way to use the money exploit on the pro tournament (well, sorta).

The first is a glitch where your blinds go down to very low chip numbers when you exit a game via the Windows button or get a phone call or something. This would help anyone going for the ATM Fee achievement (see updated guide) if for some reason anyone had trouble with it.

edit: patch fixed the blinds issue

Also, as it's well documented, the money glitch doesn't work on the pro tournament. Why is this? It's because there are 6 people at the table. However, if you can manage to get it down to two people (and I think you need the most chips too) you can do the money/xp exploit against this final opponent as you normally would in any other pro takedown.

mile high club was the most annoying thing ever imo. i kept playing pros and never got the hand (AI did 3 times) and after playing several hours i decided to try something else.

I played a standard 2 player game with 250k buy in. and if i lost everthing i could buy back in and the .3% change at the hand stayed up to date instead of resetting my chances every 5 mintues. after 20 minutes i got the king and queen but the AI cheated. and 10-15 minutes later i got it again and was able to pull off the win :D

and thanks for the guide

  • 1 month later...

Thanks for the tips. I did as the guide says to get the 8 achievements from the trial (9 actually, as I got Stylish Host in the trial as well) and I had the final table glitch work just as described. I thought I'd add a quick note here though for people who have already played the 360 version of the game.

I had already played the 360 version and gotten the full 250GS prior to buying the WP7 version. Once I bought the WP7 version it synced my game with the data from the 360 version and instantly unlocked Ding! Double Digits!, Ding! Top Dog!, Rollin', and Player of the Century. In other words, if you are already level 50 and have over 500,000 chips on the 360 version than these achievements will unlock as soon as your data syncs up. I assume that it would work the other way around as well, meaning you could use the chips/XP exploit in the WP7 version then sync to get the achievements in the 360 version, but I can't confirm that since I played 360 first.

Strangely, even though Player of the Century unlocked immediately I Hate ATM Fees did not, and as others have reported that achievement seems glitchy as I played well over 50 hands on the WP7 version before it finally unlocked.

Now all I have left to do is get Mile High Club and then I will have the full 200 in this, though this seems to be one of the most annoying achievements ever. So far I have only gotten the required hand once, and of course the AI called my all-in when I had it and I lost.

EDIT: One last thing. I think I've figured out exactly how the chips/XP exploit works and can explain exactly why it doesn't work on the all pro tournament. What you have to do for it to work is have chips equal to or greater than your opponent so that when they call your all-in it makes them go down to 0 chips. When you save and quit the game reads that all of your opponents have 0 chips and therefore it treats it as if you have won the tournament. Technically you can do this trick in the all pro tournament as well but for it to work you would have to have every single opponent go all-in so that it showed all of them with 0 chips.

Thanks for the guide ;)

You're welcome, but...

So I noticed there was an update yesterday, did that "fix" the pause/quit exploit listed above?

...I think it did. I played today, with no luck with this glitch. That sort of blows my guide up a bit. Gotta think what to do. Wonder if I can start over with money? That would help me re-write this guide.

I was LITERALLY just about to buy this (seriously, my phone is on the Buy screen right now), I better hold off now.
