Dawkie
Just thinking on which dif to start on? Hardocre or Casual and please mitvate your answer. Is 75% completion doable ? How hard is it compare please with another game
Sampson
I guess it's up to you. Casual just makes it so that there're fewer enemies so that could be helpful if you're trying to do completion achievements and such but hardcore gets you all the story achievements in one go and it makes it easier for some achievements when there're a greater number of enemies. It's up to you but I'd start on hardcore. It's really not that much harder.
TimespliTT
its a little more challenging to play on hardcore, however you cant really lose. when you die on a mission you just do the missions over again. when you die when freeroaming it just saves and sends you back to a base. Mickford
I would definitely just start on hardcore, it does get easier with practice. It saves having to do another playthrough
IVIR BLOBBY
Casual all the way, im in this game for the completetion and utter fucking around and casual makes that a little easier
Jeesp
I went with casual on my 75% complete play through, and then started a hardcore one for the difficulty achievements. The hardcore play through took about 4-6 hours if I remember correctly. Hardcore isn't too difficult, so it shouldn't be a problem to start on hardcore. Snoop QC
Hardcore isn't too hard if you use some cover during gun fights and know how to pilot the choppers when some enemy helicopters come to take you down.
Ivo
I'd go for Hardcore as well, it's not that hard. Sometimes you'll have to flee quickly, but it's not that bad if you die. Plus: it's more fun! If there's an enemy chopper approaching, just hijack it.
Killerchronic
I cannot (read:refuse) to play on casual, so it would be normal at the lowest, should i just jump for hardcore? If it only takes 6hours to do a hardcore playthrough. I am looking for fun not frustration. Edit: Think i've just answered myself, play for fun on normal and do a 6hr quick hardcore run... (seeing as 1k supposedly takes 60hrs o.0)
TheRedKing
Starting Hardcore isn't too bad. No real penalty for dying other than replaying the checkpoint or having to get extracted back to the last location. As you gain parts, you become stronger, so don't be worried about starting hardcore.
Hackinyeti
Hardcore all the way. Early in the game it might be a little harder, but eventually with all the upgrades you find it becomes a sinch.
JT Fever
I am sure its a little late for this response but there maybe others to play this cracking game still, I chose HC after reading on this website and I agree it is well worth it as the game is quite forgiving, dont forget Ricos roll RB Now i have completed story in never felt to difficult
Chaz Of Sparta
Hardcore, it's not so bad. All it does it add extra enemies so you just have to be more careful when charging into groups of enemies, especially when liberating military bases. Armed Madman
After you beat the game on hardcore, can you lower the difficultly to casual for the completion part?
CIF
Being close to 50% completion on Hardcore right now, I'm tempted to say it's probably worth it to do two playthroughs JUST for how many QT button-mashing things there are, and the fucking ridiculous choice to make the player "fail" them when getting shot.
