jxspyder
y all the 6 players achivement?? To slow down the boosters, and make people actually play to get the achievements. Which is gonna be pretty damn easy for all of those anyways......
The Fonz
didnt it used to be 7v7 so thats 14 players whats the worry about six player.half of the enemy team can quit from freight and their will still be more than 6.(losers who quit i hate)
s2l_soldier
Not to mention, everyone is assuming that you only play team based games. You could play Sharpshooter and and have more than half the team quite and still get achievements. You don't have to play any team based games. If achievements are going to be easy, I'd rather them just not put them in. Also, for someone like me, who still plays Vegas 1 daily, I can probably get all of the achievement legit in about 2 weeks (except for the rank achievements.) Badhazard
At Best Buy if you preorder the game. you get a weapon. I dont know how you will get the weapon, maybe through a code. Hopefully if it is a code and i use it to unlock a weapon it doesnt effect the achievement for unlocking all the weapons, cause if anyone played Marvel Ultimate Alliance. For the people that got a code from gamestop to unlock silver surfer. using the code wouldnt get the achievement for silver surfer unlocked, unless they deleted the gamer profile and recovered it from xbox live and delete the saved file. -_-
ClutchPapi34
I think this is a good list. It will be fun to go for most of these achievements.
Cipher 8
"And I like it too, even the dreaded vision cam one. I mean, they put the effort into adding that feature to the game" I totally agree. They should not get rid of true identity achiev. It Rules! It's so cool to put your face, a skull, or a mask as your character. Sure it might stick out but its one more way to customize your character and thats one thing that is great about the R6vegas games. "I wonder if I can vision cam my Master Chief helmet......that'd be hilarious." In the first one i vision cam'd a fake skull, a few halloween masks, and my normal face it just takes a few tries and messing with the lighting you should be able to. "But im quite suprised there isnt achievements for... Blinding and killing X amount of enermies Killing X amount of enermies with breaching charges" Those would be cool.. "need to get more creative on the story mode achievements, they are always so generic, beat this level=get points, beat this level=get points, and so on" Yeah alot of games still do this, but i think like COD4 they did this so people would actually play the single player storys because the multiplayer on both games is the big attraction. "That'd be awesome if they came out with some dlc achievements." Hell yeah it would! 1250! I love the 6player min. thing! i dont want to offend any achievment whores in here but boosting is stupid if they are that easy to get on their own. Hell i didnt even boost some of the hard achievments for other games, but im not about achievments really. actually i dont even know why im on an achievment site. jxspyder
Hey, quick question. I don't remember if it worked in Vegas 1, but if you beat the game on co-op, on realistic, can you recieve the achievement? Or is it just solo gameplay on realistic. GAZA1111111
yo guys, you did'nt get the achievements in vegas 1, but I believe that you can go through the campaign with a friend (co-op) and get the achievements (vegas 2), as they don't say "in single player campaign" this is what the previous one said
jxspyder
Okay, another question. The achievement Haute Couture, create your own custom camoflauge. Now, in vegas one, after you hit elite, you are able to create your own camo's. Anyone seen any footage or interviews that explains any of this? Sum up, can you make custom camo's at any point, or only after you hit elite, like vegas 1?
ScRibbLes1070D
No, one of the game designer's confirmed in an interview with Frag Dolls that the reward for hitting Elite is unlocking custom camo. http://www.fragdolls.co.uk/index.php/audio/rainbow_six_vegas_2_developer_interview/

To answer your question; yes you can attain all story mode achievements through offline and online co-op.
COLENBLOKER
I like how most of the multiplayer achievements dont specify ranked games so I may have a shot at getting some of these
OPPNYC1
Are the co-op and single player story achievements going to unlock at the same time. Like beating Story mode on realistic and co-op?
ScRibbLes1070D
Well, the Vegas 1 achievements said "beat such-and-such level in single player on Story Mode", but the ones for Vegas 2 just say "beat it in Story mode". We'll see how it plays out, but for now all we can do is guess.

m00n22
Bug in Rainbow Six Vegas 2, when you where elite in vegas 1 you get 2500 XP for that in Rainbow Vegas 2, but then you skip the Private First Class rank and don't get the achievement. jxspyder
I'm sure that'll be fixed by the time they release it...i.e. update the minute you pop it in the machine.
cSELECT
Well i put it in and didnt get an achievement though. Might be if you beat the RSV1 story mode on elite. I never made elite online but it says "you're an elite" and yadda yadda ,get weapons and points plus rank boost - 2500 exp. EDIT: Well it official, they fixed nothing, you wont unlock the achievement. I have 2500 xp went up to specialist but no achievement. what a stupid thing to do! its kinda like the people who glitched straight to elite on RSV1 but didnt get the achievement for ELITE. We get reprimanded from getting that achievement for playing the 1st game and being good at it.

winter182
I think True Identity is a pretty stupid achievement to be honest, i don't fancy wasting my money buying one for the sake of 20 points
Creech
I think True Identity is a pretty stupid achievement to be honest, i don't fancy wasting my money buying one for the sake of 20 points More and more games are integrating the camera, frankly. Burnout Paradise and Karaoke Revolution both utilize the camera, for example. I like it and think it adds a level of entertainment that makes the 360 unique. Penn
I think True Identity is a pretty stupid achievement to be honest, i don't fancy wasting my money buying one for the sake of 20 points As David said, the vision camera is great for lots of games and more and more of them are now introducing vision camera features. It's also great for creating your gamer picture and video chatting. You don't just buy a vision camera for 20 gamerscore, you buy one because they are fantastic and well worth the money! jxspyder
Then save your 20 bucks, and don't buy one. That achievement isn't for you anyway. It's for me, and Creech, and Penn, and all the other people who have vision cams and think it's a cool feature.
