I do it faster :) i dont bother to wait for reinforcement on wu stage 4 neither do i go for numbers of soldiers. it takes me 4-6 min to get about 4-6 profiency and that by only taking the officers and the mobs around them. Suggest using crowd clearing combos :p Once my character reach lvl 99 wich is what i use my always upbuilding xp points on, i take out the officers by riding and knocking them down then ride to next one. When i do that it takes me like 3 maybe 3 and a half min or so and by that time i have taken out all officers exept the reinforcment ones and done the stage. Im currently have 21 officers with max profiency that would make the total sum of 1100 plus the other officers like anything from the 1 prof to maybe 5-10 so i guess i got in total maybe 1150 - 1200 profiency all together :) Yes Wu Stage 4 is the best way play that on easy atleast thats my suggestion :) hope it helps. Also i usually have like 200+ knock out count by just taking down mobs as i ride by to the officers.

i am currently at 1640.

And loosing my mind.

Wow... this is like an Offline "Seriously.." Achivement.

but still it's is for the final 3 achivements.

If you wanna figure out where you are go to the "Gallery"

EVERYBODY needs to have each of thier first 4 pictures avaliable for viewing. when that happens you will have the final stage unlocked.

Or.... you can get all 6 pictures for half of the characters avaliable.

I've been playing this game since it came out. which is close to a month and 2 weeks and some change.... ;_;

loosing my mind...

what ive heard is -

1 enemy = 1 prof point

1 enemy officer = 100 prof points

you need 500 points for 1 proficy, well thats what ive heard..

to do the calculation look on the threads on teh warriors orochi forum and 1 person ahs a microsoft exell table which really helps, also a half done 1 to show you how it works

For those who bothered to look...someone posted a table where you can input all the numbers in to figure out where exactly you are at and keep track of your officers. I've been using it for about a week and a half now. I added a percent follower onto it as well to track how close I am. Currently at 47% finished, but it's making it worth it to grind now, just cause I know exactly where I am.

Here is the link to the forum post.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=146806

Download the Spreadsheet and make it easier on yourself.

Edit: Here is how to get the percentage. In Cell J34, enter =F30/J30 in. Then, select that cell and at the top under the Number box, select Percentage inside the dropdown. So long as you don't mess with the format of the spreadsheet, it should give you an accurate percentage on where you are.

Finally started playing this game again.. Been grinding at the proficiency now. Have every story level and every dream mode level beat on all difficulties besides dream 27 obviously. Im now at 2,102 prof, only 628 to go. 25 characters have 50 prof, rest are mostly in the teens and 20s.

Been making almightys to put on peoples weapons, makes it alot easier. I currently have 51 characters with an almighty lvl 4 weapon, and an additional 5 or so left.

Method Ive been doin with a friend, Wu stage 4, he goes east I go north, we each kill 12 officers. Each run we gain about 3 prof. 6 per run through combined and only takes about 3 min. At the same time is our "Almighty Weapon Farmer". We just make almightys with that character while we lvl each of ours.

Btw, the excel spreadsheet makes it a lot easier.

Dazz, just run through the game a few times (will need a lot of runs actually) and make some 'almighty' skills to attach to your weapons.

If you struggle with fighting on Chaos, get a full strength lvl 3 weapon on your favourite character (preferably someone who fights in a dream mode battle), then add almighty to it. Then start playing Samurai 1 on Chaos, choose that character to run through as, and add 2 others who fight in dream stages to back him up. With almighty equipped, Chaos is a pushover. One run on Samurai 1 on Chaos will net you at least 1 level 4 weapon for everyone in your group. Just keep doing this run over and over, each time adding 2 people who fight in dream modes to the team, but keep fighting just with your favourite guy with almighty. Once every dream mode character (or at least just 1 from every dream mode stage) has a level 4 weapon, pick 2 other people (preferably 2 from 2 other dream mode battles), load up their level 4 weapons with almighty (and if you haven't previously, load almighty on to your favourites lvl 4 weapon) Then start grinding through the chaos levels on free play only using those guys, and keep making almighty's. You'll not have enough by the time you have finished all the missions on Chaos, so keep grinding until you have enough for almighty for at least 1 person per Dream mode.

Once you have enough almighty's for 1 person per dream mode battle, thats all you need. Chaos mode is a piece of piss when you have a level 4 weapon with Almighty.

I actually hated that spread sheet, just thought it was badly thought out. Found my own little method of colour coding each character on the dream mode sequence was much better to use. Still, good work putting it out their for everyone to use nonetheless.

I'm at 2050-ish. Still 670 or so left to go...

...but I'm fairly certain by now that Wu-4 is the best possible stage for proficiency-farming. Just kill the hog in front of you when you start, and then ride north, killing everything in your path, without getting off your horse (obviously, you'll want a level-4 Almighty weapon for this). GO up the right side of the boss-square, then head out left and circle around the big rock, killing the last 7 dudes before heading back to the bosses. Make sure you take out Diao Chan and the 2 snake-men escorting Kiomori before you finish both of them.

With maxed-out Cavalier-skill, I can run this in three, three-and-a-half minutes, depending on the character - while picking up all the XP-scrolls and weapon-cases that drop. If I ignore those, I can shave another thirty seconds off.

Only thing I'm not certain of is whether I should wait before hitting Lu Bu and Kimori, to let the northern ambush (2 hog-men) pop up... it would seem a no-brainer to ignore them, but unfortunately, even though I can finish it in 3 minutes, the game then spends 'bout a minute catching up on all the backed-up messages, including the "Ambush" message - so the ambush will appear ANYWAY, I just don't get to kill it 'cuz I've finished the stage already at that point. And there doesn't seem to be any way to fast-forward through those messages. So maybe it would be better to let those messages run their course BEFORE finishing the stage, take out the hogs for another 200 prof-points, and THEN finish it...

...as a side-note, these kinds of speed-runs can be quite entertaining if you use someone with an interesting 'I killed an officer' line... since, at the end, he'll repeat it 'bout 10 times back-to-back. :p
