Gary200
Just got it today for 1200 MSP and its like a 2D version of Minecraft in a lot of ways to me. Its different too. Anyone else going to check this game out?
Zumato
I'm kind of skeptical on how the controls will transfer over to console. Loved it on the PC though, it's more combat oriented.

Yeah, it is more combat oriented. The controls feel fine once I knew what I was doing. At first I was trying to build as is and it was weird and hard, then I found out you click in the right stick and switch to a "mouse mode" for building and then it was super easy, then switch back for fighting. lol You can always try out the free demo to see how you like the feel of it. Re4isNumber1
Bought it today and I am loving it do far. Just got to a point where I can make upgraded tools. I also bought bioshock yesterday but I have spent more time with Terraria so far.
DjBatfink
I played the demo and liked it, finished BioShock last night, so i went and brought Terraria... Looks like it might be a good game...
UberPirateNinja
was a bit confused by it all at first, but i can already feel the same compulsion to play it that minecraft had.
Burnout x360a
I played the demo and liked it, finished BioShock last night, so i went and brought Terraria... Looks like it might be a good game... Finished BioShock within 2 days? Damn, I wouldn't want a game to be over that quick. Ad for Terraria, never saw the appeal.
Fechdog
I bought it. A wider variety of enemies and bosses was the appeal I needed to get it. There's even a hardcore option where once you die, you're dead for good! Yikes!
DjBatfink
Finished BioShock within 2 days? Damn, I wouldn't want a game to be over that quick. Ad for Terraria, never saw the appeal. Even though i finished BioShock, i only played it on easy and got 650/1000G, so if you went for the 1000G it would take you alot longer, so don't be put of in anyway because i finished it already, it's a great game.... As for Terraria, i played it for about 7hrs today and i'm not to sure about it now? It might be the 2D thing, plus the tutorial doesn't explain much.. I think i will give it abit more time and then see if i like it enough to try for 400G... Edit; I should also point out that my 2 days of finishing a game, might be 5-6 days for some else, as on Tuesday and Wednesday, i played for about 11hrs each day..... smashingrascal
I haven't played the demo yet but the controls still don't sound that great to me even with a mouse mode. Might as well try it out sometime, but I'll probably stick to minecraft.
DecadentBeaver
I tried the demo, but I don't like it enough to drop 1200msp on it. Found the game world a bit small too. Maybe if it was 800msp.

You can pick from small, Med or Large in the full game. The Large world is huge. Maybe the demo put you in a small world.
ToasterWaffle
I might get it, it seems fun. Never played it on the PC and it seems really interesting.
Morbious17
I've been playing it. It's pretty fun. It's great since you can create multiple worlds and your character is saved separately. You can take your character between worlds, transferring items. If you're going for all the achievements, look out for the corrupt and hallowed world achievements. They'll take the longest by far without trading achievements.
k2345
Seen a lot of gameplay / lets plays from the PC version on Youtube & it looks fun, but with Minecraft, Halo, FIFA and Farcry 3 Blood dragon taking up most of my time I will probably wait until it goes on sale...1200msp is a bit high, I like the sound of 800msp
Burnout x360a
I thought it was alright but the controls felt very strange.

kelendral
Controls were meh. Demo really didn't explain much. Hard to tell sometimes why rooms are/aren't valid even with the check. I might pick it up at 200-400 MSP but not 1200.
Heatherr
Played Terraria on the PC a while ago and fell in love with it. Once I get enough Microsoft points I plan on getting it.
Delta3519
I saw it advertised on Xboxlive but not so sure if I want to play it or not. To those that have played it, do you think it is worth getting?

DarkZ0m
I saw it advertised on Xboxlive but not so sure if I want to play it or not. To those that have played it, do you think it is worth getting? I bought it on the release day and I find it pretty fun, I got used to the controls fairly fast. Unlike Minecraft though when you finish all the achievements you have pretty much done everything you could do in the game, beat all bosses and collect every pet/armor. I find it worth getting. RDrules
Yeah I thought 1200 points sounded steep. I might get it if it goes on sale yeah its really not worth that its only like a fiver when its not on sale on steam and its pretty much always on sale on steam so its a hell of a markup just to get it on console
BadWolfTommie
A 2D Minecraft, huh? The graphics didn't feel right to me. Got the demo, but never even made it through. Not sure if I'll ever pick this up.
