Flips360
Maybe you can add that the difficulty is about 4/10 if you boost the online wc achievements. It just takes long, we boosted about 7h for one player.
Shambles11
For the Practice Makes Perfect achievement instead of playing through a whole game to lose just quit out during a world cup match, you lose 3-0. Then just hit training and cheevo pops, saves 8 minutes of playing. Also if you've already finished captain your country (as i had) and want to get the cheev for scoring a penalty, just load up your game. As long as auto save was on it'll automatically save it just before the world cup final, so you can replay it again. Odd thing was, after drawing 1-1, when i took my penalty i actually hit the crossbar, England still went on to win 3-2 and i still got the achievement, even though the description says you have to score. And finally if you're doing the penalty shoot out trick for beating all the teams, make sure difficulty is set to semi-pro. I did them all on novice and no achievement, fricking massive waste of time. Worked fine when i changed the difficulty! Great guide though, thanks! Tactical Tom
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1314/UPopd64=.jpg Co-op Success - 5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg All four co-op players get a match rating of 7 or above in a captain your country match. For this Achievement, you'll have to start a "Captain Your Country" campaign from the Main Menu again, this time setting up a 4-player campaign, doing so by changing "Players" to 4. Then start a game (all 4 players will participate in it) and try to keep your rating-indicator above 7 at all times. Each player starts out with a rating of 6.0. The most important criteria for a good rating are: - scoring goals - providing assists - staying at your position (use the markers shown when you're too far away from your position as guidelines) - successful tackles To get the Achievement, simply let two of your co-op partners play as midfielders while the other two play as strikers. Score at least one goal with each player and sucessfully pass the ball around and try to keep posession. This way it shouldn't be too hard to finish the match with a rating of 7 or more across the board. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I have earned this Achievement using four Defenders. (DR, RCB, LCB, DL) Simply pass the ball along the defence over and over again. There is no need to score any Goals, just keep the ball and watch the Player Ratings reach over 8+ for the Full Backs and 9+ for the Central Defenders. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/images/icons/icon12.gif
Sir Pat Divers
For the Virtual Pro achievements (Captain Your Country) do you have to be on Semi-Pro or above? I have already been promoted to first team and was made captain in my first game, but neither of those achievements unlocked but I am on Amateur. Either way, still a great game. Nope, all CYC achievements can be obtained on amateur. The most likely reason the cheevo didn't pop is because you have to be captain in a competitive match, the friendlies don't count, only the qualifier or finals matches. You only need to be captain once, for winning the world cup simply being in the team is enough.

Tactical Tom
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1314/UP5YXdg=.jpg 2010 FIFA World Cup Mastery - 125http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg Defeat all 32 teams that qualified for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. You can do this Achievement in every mode, the easiest is to simply do a "Penalty Shootout" via the Main Menu. The 32 teams that qualified for the 2010 World Cup are as follows: CONCACAF: Honduras Mexico United States EUROPE: Denmark England France Germany Greece Italy Holland (Netherlands) Portugal Serbia Slovakia Slovenia Spain Switzerland AFRICA: Algeria Cameroon Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) Ghana Nigeria South Africa ASIA: Australia Japan Korea DPR Korea Republic SOUTH AMERICA: Argentina Brazil Chile Paraguay Uruguay OCEANIA: New Zealand Just select one team of your choice, beat all other 31 teams and don't forget to do a penalty shootout against the team you played with, too. NOTE: This Achievement can be done with two controllers. NOTE: Make sure to set the difficulty to Semi-Pro or higher. There is a quick way to cut down the list of Teams you have to beat in a Penalty Shoot Out to get the Achievement for defeating all 32 teams that qualified for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. As you go through the game trying to earn the other Offline Achievements you will obviously have to beat some of the other Teams along the way, meaning that there is no need to defeat the majority of the 32 Teams again as there will be some you have already beaten. To find out who you have already defeated, press the Right Stick from the Main Menu to bring up the Globe where you choose a Team to be. From here press the Right Trigger once to bring up some additional information on each of the Countries. This box of info will contain the details of your own personal "My Record against this country". Make a note of the Teams featuring in the 2010 World Cup that you haven't won against and then win against them in a Penalty Shoot Out. When I used this method, I only needed to defeat 9 more Teams to earn this Achievement making it far less time consuming that having to beat 32. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/images/icons/icon12.gif Edited May 28, 2010 by Tactical Tom
Kevmoblud
just so you guys know, YOU CANNOT GET ALL THE CAPTAIN YOUR COUNTRY ACHIEVEMENTS IF YOU PLAY ON AMATEUR DIFFICULTY. I played the whole campaign through on amateur and could not get the following achievements: First team selection Masterful Performance Most hat-tricks The other ones popped up fine, but the ones above did not, despite me reaching the required criteria. My friend played the campaign on semi-pro and unlocked all the acheivements so you will need to play it through on at least semi-pro difficulty. hope this helps
