DecadentBeaver
Seed: stimulating undercover midgets Spawn right by a ravine that's in a swamp biome. Goes right down to an aabandoned mineshaft. Which in turn leads to a stronghold. There are loads of ores to find down here. Watching the missus play and it's looking pretty good so far. Holy Hunter
If you looking for a good ocean seed doghouse Mainly ocean with two large islands and a one small island. One of the larger island is all desert and then the other large island is forest. The smaller island is grass.
Groudon199
If you like a world with only about 35-40% land, use the seed "lava". Here's a map.
Paka
I went back to playing around with Minecraft to mess with creative mode, and stumbled on a really good one if you want a massive cave system. Seed 875822714 (or "war damn eagle" without the quotes; pretty sure that is what I put in). Great flat building areas near a little town where I spawned, along with by far the largest cave system I've seen, and have gotten lost in several times exploring the offshoots on -

SolarFury
So what is the seed itself? Yeah Burnout. Share the wealth. I'm getting the itch to throw time at this again, and I'm looking for a map like the screenie you've shown. I love that type of landscape, not a fan of flat worlds. Honestly though, I want a world with everything, but mostly a large tall island in the middle so I can build me a Pirate Island fortress. Anyone got any ideas? (points for anyone who can guess what I've been watching too much of just lately (tip: my kids of 2 and 3 are addicted to it at the moment)). kalel025
Castle Greyskull Pros -Super thick forests with massive trees, some big/thick enough to simulate night while standing underneath! if building with wood is your thing, you're in luck! -Crazy tall mountains, hope you have rappelling gear! -Beautiful deep and complex cavern system, rich with iron and coal. I'd like to hope there's gold and diamonds in there too, was too sleepy to continue. Started at 10:30 and stayed up 'til midnight. Had 40 iron and a full stack of coal from my short stint down there. Cons -Land is very hilly, if you love flat land, this ain't the map for you. Will explore more tonight and post pics. do you have the seed # for this? Is there actually a castle grayskull already made?
WhiteWolfDamo
Seed: Entropy Cascade Failure Seed: -731554289 The map is similar for both TU8 generated and TU9 generated with minor variations . tried this today, is a pretty good seed, a bit flat for my liking but loads of caves to explore is good, 1 right next to the spawn. 500Heavens
My sister and I have been playing the seed "magic" (it may be a capital, unfortunately I don't remember.) It's an amazing seed that spawns you right next to a ravine that has a stronghold at the bottom, a slime spawning chunk, the end portal room is the exposed part of the stronghold and there's an abandoned mineshaft below that so it's a fantastic starter. There's also a mushroom biome in this world and villages though they're a little walk but it has literally everything.
Senmitsuya
Ry'leh Near to spawn point at coords X: 174 Y: 65 Z: 192 a huge chasm, leads into a massive cave system, easy to get lost in, but with abundant coal and iron deposits, a fair bit of Lapis Lazuli, and some deposits of gold, red stone, and diamond. Biggest hazard so far is the long drops and lava flows. Recommend making a lot of signs and using them to prevent getting lost. Alas, no non-Euclidian shapes or Cyclopean architecture, or tentacle-faced dragons named Cthulhu. Another cave system @ X: -183 Y: 64 Z: 277 Again, plenty of coal and iron. Not much in the way of other resources here. Many dead-ends that are not (If you know what to look for). Take caution when digging upward, several parts of this cave system is only a few blocks below ocean floor. DANGER: There is a monster spawner in the cave system, which is again easy to get lost in. Two chests near monster spawner have thread, cocoa beans, red stone, and some other less than spectacular items. Surrounding area has a decent-sized surface iron deposit. X: 83 Y: 65 Z: -48 Two surface lava ponds set in the middle of a forest. Beware getting too close if there are still trees close by, standing by a tree as it suddenly catches fire is not fun, especially if you accidentally fall in the lava, while trying to make a run for the water. Notable Surface features For this part, I am dividing the map up into a grid of 9 sectors in the following manner: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Sector 1 Hilly terrain, with deep valley in center, some caves, arctic biome, and desert shared with Sector 2. Sector 2 Hilly Grasslands with a patch of desert shared by Sector 1 Sectors 3 & 6 are primarily a lot of sheer cliffs, and deep valleys, riddled with caves some leading into more resource rich networks easy to lose your way in, and others just making shortcuts to the other sides of mountains, and nice shelters. Sector 5 Mostly swamps (X: -59 Y: 67 Z: 3 you will find a big pumpkin patch here) Sector 7 More Swamps Sector 8 Mostly Ocean bordering Swamps Sector 9 Desert. With a big sea-side lake. All in all, this map is absolutely riddled with cave systems that seem to go on forever, and will test the limits of your sense of direction. For those Lovecraft fans that recognize the seed name. This is more like more like the City of Leng, than the Island of Ry'leh. Bold explorers prepare to get lost in your quest for resources. FullMoonBeaver
obnoxious rooster Try this seed for a very impressive world. At the spawn point, if you go down the nearby cave system, you will come across the stronghold. North west, just before you reach the desert biome, there is another cave entrance. Down there you will find a huge expansive cave system, and massive ravine that leads off everywhere, and I found 5 dungeons. Over in the north east, there is an area with exposed surface stone. There is a huge cave system there too. Iron, Coal and Gold ore is in huge abundance. I mean loads of it. Not explored much else of this world, but so far, its been enjoyable so far. Also, it has changed a lot, but I am using gargamel for my creative world. Was an awesome seed when Minecraft first came out. Pretty impressive once again.
