Yeah fucking annoying they are, glad I picked up the RPG now. Time for some payback bitches.

Still haven't found/heard any news/infos about a CASINO or GAMBLING (not stockexchange), FUCK THAT!!!

I actually found a casino in the game. Unfortunately you can't go inside it.

I loved him since the first cutscene (no homo). He is funny and brings the extra crazy that I love GTA for.

Yeah that's what I thought, so fucking lame!

Ok this is the text I got from Jimmy a day after murdering him as Michael.

"lol. I woke up in hospital without insurance. u better settle my bill!"

Lmao this game is magic.

This you call bitching!? Come on dude get yourself together.

I just got to where you play as Trevor. I already hate him in that very first cutscene.

To be completely honest, that first mission with Trevor was probably the best introduction to a character I've ever seen in a video-game, especially with those "references" to GTA IV. Right off the bat, charismatic and crazy.

What Rockstar have pulled off is remarkable: they've created the quintessential maniac that people tend to play as in the Grand Theft Auto series, who murders without conscience. Best of all, this completely balances out with the three character scheme. Instead of having the main character be a bipolar nut, acting like a decent human being one second and then slaughtering hundreds the next, Michael and Franklin are a little more "normal" than Trevor and carry the weight of being the decent human being.

I really don't like the characters...From a story point? Yeah they are nicely done. You got the "new guy", the washed up has been and Trevor. But Franklin is too much like CJ... and I didn't like CJ one bit. But aside from that I think every character has a nice story arc, if you wanna call it like that, and adds to the story. Except, as I said before, Franklin...I don't like him. Since the character selection thingy has a fourth slot I was hoping they would add a fourth character... Like a secret twist or something...But now I suppose it's just for the dog... Man, I don't even like Franklins dog... And I love dogs usually.

But from a gameplay perspective? I'm not fond of the three seperate characters. The money you get from properties isn't shared, which is totally understandable but still annoying. And the switching in missions seems kinda forced. The "signature cars" are also kinda lame (but maybe I just don't know how to change them aside from "tuning"). Oh and getting the 25% discount in ammu-nation for a gold medal in all the challenges? Yeah, that isn't shared as well. That's annoying as hell... I mean, aside from two challenges, they aren't really difficult, but... I did them all already...:(

And since I'm a big fan of customization: I find the character customization options a little bit lackluster... But I have that problem with most games, so I wouldn't hold that against them...

Oh and making money aside from missions is still a mystery to me...

So I guess thats my 2 cents.

PS: Seriously Franklin can go make love to himself

I was kinda annoyed, unless I'm missing something here, but bought a car online with franklin and tricked it out. Then drove it to a mission, and had to get out and drive a different vehicle. I haven't seen it since. I went to the impound and it wasnt there, I went to where I left it and it wasn't there either. I was hoping that buying a car would replace the stock car that he starts with. Wish you could pick that. Oh well expensive mistake.

I also wish there were more buildings with helicopters just sitting on them.

Just unlocked Trevor..what he did in that cutscene was not cool. I can already kind of tell where his story is heading.. Love Blaine Country though!

Same here. Although the TLATD DLC was kinda boring I thought Johnny was pretty cool.

Yo did anyone notice the beer in Trevor's trailer which is calles "PIßWASSER" that is German and stands for PEE/URINE WATER! Well have at it Trevor...

on topic:

YAY first time the game crashed right after rebooted the game fresh from the DB. I wanted to take a picture and BAAAM ultimate freeze!

So far my only complaints are the sheer amount of times the N word has been said i mean i have heard it more in the two hours i have played this game then in my entire life. Second how hard it is to evade the cops.

Must not live around a big city? I hate the word(-er and -a versions). Seems to come out of everyone's mouth these days.

Same with "Dusche Gold" (golden shower). The slogan "Let it rain" fits perfectly. :drunk

Trevor runs around with that shirt all the time.

Haha that too! Well a found another complaint but that is know ever since the history of sandbox games.

IF you die and you have a shitload of money or will also loose a shitload. I guess it's something between -5-10%. Fucking a lot when you get to the millions!

Admittedly, per the SC site, I'm only 10.26% thru, but so far all the gripes I have are minor, but still present.

  1. All the strippers I've had have had tattoos! I for one hate tattoos, especially on women!
  2. TV volume is just too low, even cranked up all the way! This, and the lack of a zoom-in ability (at least not that I've seen) makes it a bit harder to enjoy the programing like in IV. Which is a real shame, since now you can actually change channels to see what else is on, and not have to worry about turning back only for something completely different being on/the program you were watching starting over.
  3. Already finding the radio to be a tad bit repetitive. Of course, I'm thinking that may just be a case of having been spoiled with TLaD/TBoGT radio additions in IV. Also bummed that Lazlow only has a show again, and not a whole channel!
  4. I get that it's a pre-order bonus and all, but what's with the Atomic Blimp not being tracked on the SC site? Seriously, I have logged a number of hours in it (used it to expose the entire map, as it's easy to pilot for Franklin and Michael, and it's slow, allowing for easier 100% coverage (although turning's a pain) and enjoyment of the view), yet my favorite air vehicle is the 10 minutes from the helicopter on top of the one hospital.
  5. The nagging of the iFruit app usage. I don't have an iPhone/iPad (I can't stand Apple products), and don't have a smartphone, so without a PC option, I'll never be able to use the features, yet I keep getting messages telling me to DL the app to do whatever. :(

The only complaint I have is regarding Jonny from the Lost & what a pussy he was when you 1st take control of Trevor. What the fuck were Rockstar thinking? Apart for that nothing so far.

He's not what he used to be. Seems he became a heavy meth user the past couple of years. At the end of TLAD it seemed he was finally going to turn his life around. Guess not.

I'm disappointed with the driving as a whole. The vehicles physics, handling and crash damage is not good in my opinion. The city looks like it's a giant scalectrix model - there is no realistic acceleration or deceleration - everything zooms along and stops, then goes from stand still to top speed very quickly. Looks and feels bad in my opinion. Also when you ram other vehicles or crash, they just seem to stick to each other. Really annoying.

The cars handled and moved so much better in GTA IV. Actually felt like it had weight to it when you hand braked it around a corner. In GTA V it's like playing a bad need for speed game.

While this is my only gripe, it is a major one, as driving is such a big part of this game. Very disappointed, and will be sticking to GTA IV for rampages. They're no fun on V.

I noticed the driving mechanics were different online than offline on GTA4. I wonder if that's why V is so bad - To make it universal for the GTA online experience, which i've no interest in.

1. Yes the text is too damned small, even for an HDTV. It's not helpful for the game to display instructions on what to do in such a small font as I've missed messages while I've been paying attention to the actual action in front of me.

2. I've had this happen twice: I'll be driving Franklin with Chop and suddenly the control of the car will be taken away from me. The car will stop and let Chop out and he runs off. What the hell is that? Am I supposed to follow him? The game tells me nothing...

3. Collectibles. Where the fuck are these things? I've opened the better part of the map and have yet to stumble across even one collectible. And I've really been exploring... Perhaps it's that I have no idea what the things I'm looking for actually look like? Even the side-mission where I was told to find collectibles for a certain Stranger (or was he a Freak?) didn't show me what I was looking for but still ordered me to go find them.

4. The cops. As has been said, they are far too tenacious at low-star rankings. I have a hell of a time escaping them because the game loves to teleport cops in front of me if I manage to escape too efficiently. And hiding from them only seems to work about 50% of the time. Once, trying to escape a 2 star rating (that Trevor was in the midst of when I switched to him) I couldn't get them to leave me alone. I'd get it to the point where the cars are searching with the vision cones and I'll be out of view, then suddenly one teleports in at the next intersection to start the chase all over again. I even went into the goddamn subway system, but when the cars got above me, the chase resumed as if they could see me several floors below the street while driving their cars.

I got lucky once after having a mishap when another driver decided to aid my escape by making a left hand turn in front of me from the right lane. My car was launched into a backyard and landed in the unfinished pool. The block walls of the backyard and being at the bottom of the empty pool kept the cops from seeing me. However, they still circled the block for 3.5 minutes before the alert subsided. That is just crazy to me at a 2-star level...

5. Ladders. Hate these things. Well, climbing down them at least. I wish there was a button prompt or something because my first death of the game came when Franklin decided to fall off the top of a roof instead of grabbing and climbing down the ladder at his feet.
