erod550
http://img.game.co.uk/ml/3/4/2/4/342438ps_500h.jpg This is my first guide so I hope it is helpful. Overview + Estimated achievement difficulty: 4/10 + Offline: 43 (1000) + Online: 0 (0) + Approximate time: 16-18 hours, but can be up to 23-25 if you have to play through a 3rd time. + Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 2 + Glitched achievements: None + Cheats: None Introduction Playthrough #1: All of these achievements are for a single playthrough only except for "Distinguished Service Medal", which requires you play through the game twice, and "Intelligence Expert", which will carry over into subsequent playthroughs until you have scanned 100 unique items. I highly recommend getting all combat and collection achievements on your first playthrough while playing on Easy. You will be a bit slower anyway since you will be learning the levels, and looking for all the chips and disks is very time consuming, even if you know the levels very well. Also, doing a lot of exploring will make it very easy to get the distance travelled achievements. This will get you all but "Distinguished Service Medal", "G-Force Rapid Response Agent", "G-Force Recruit", "G-Force Agent", and "G-Force Special Agent" on the first playthrough. When exploring to find chips, go into every single vent you see, explore every turn in the ventilation shafts, open every door, get a motion sensor to destroy every wooden door, look on top of the hanging lights in each room, kill every enemy, collect every chip you can from those enemies, even if it means having to send Mooch to get it if you can't reach it with Darwin, melt everything that is frozen. Don't leave a room unless you are sure you have gotten everything out of it that you can. One spot in particular that is easy to miss is the section where you go through the pneumatic tubes. It will tell you that you can select your destination, but will put you right by the button for the destination that will advance the story. On the other side of the desk is a button that will take you to a room with over 300 chips. Make sure you use all 5 save slots and manually save at every checkpoint, because I guarantee there will be a time where you accidentally go through a door that locks behind you and you can't go back and get stuff that you missed, and you do NOT want to get all the way to the end, with 10+ hours played and come up short on chips for buying all the upgrades. Playthrough #2: Beating the game on any difficulty, including Easy, unlocks Special Agent difficulty. For the 2nd playthrough, play on Special Agent and get through the game as quickly as you can. Don't bother looking for disks or going out of your way to collect chips. Spend your chips on ammo and health at the kiosks, since you will not have as much ammo or health to play with without the disks. I would also recommend buying the regular map on each level since you will not be able to see where your next objective is anywhere but on the map on Special Agent difficulty, and getting lost wastes time. Manually save every time you hit a checkpoint. If you end up taking a long time to get through a section or if you die twice and have to restart at the checkpoint anyway, reload the save so you aren't wasting that time. You can also just skip right past a lot of the enemies if the door to the next room doesn't require killing everything to unlock it. As long as you aren't spending a lot of time looking for disks or extra chips or exploring (which you should have already done on the first playthrough on Easy), you should be able to finish in under 8 hours with ease for the remaining achievements. And now onto the achievements! I finished this on the 10th mission. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/oX/OA/0ICLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-69zug==.jpgPlasma Gun Expert 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Defeat 100 enemies with the Plasma Gun See "Shot Bolter Expert". http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/oX/OA/0ICLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-69zug==.jpgCluster Rifle Expert 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Defeat 100 enemies with the Cluster Rifle See "Shot Bolter Expert". http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/oX/OA/0ICLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-69zug==.jpgShot Bolter Expert 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Defeat 100 enemies with the Shot Bolter For the Plasma Gun, Cluster Rifle, and Shot Bolter, you should easily get 100 kills with each just by playing the game normally since you get them early in the game. Just make sure you are rotating through your weapons, which you will probably do anyway once you figure out what you like to use on each type of enemy. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/oX/OA/0ICLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-69zug==.jpgFreeze Gun Expert 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Defeat 100 enemies frozen by the Freeze Gun Just freeze enemies and kill them with your whip until you get this. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/oX/OA/0ICLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-69zug==.jpgFlame Thrower Expert 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Defeat 100 enemies with the Flame Thrower A great spot to get a whole bunch of kills for this is on the roof at FBI Headquarters when you follow Saber into the trap. After fighting a whole bunch of waffle makers and a soda machine, you will fight two computers who send a ton of little CPU fans at you. Let them keep cranking them out and just keep mowing down the fans with the flamethrower until you run out of ammo. You should be able to easily get 50+ kills with the flamethrower from this area alone. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/oX/OA/0ICLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-69zug==.jpgNano Hack Expert 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Defeat 50 enemies using NanoHacked enemies This one can be tough, especially if you're not playing on Easy. The NanoHack just doesn't last long enough to kill anything most of the time, and the ammo is ridiculously expensive. A great place to get a bunch of kills for this is the same as for Flame Thrower Expert. After you use up all your flamethrower ammo, switch to the NanoHack and use it on one of the computers. The other computer will still be cranking out the CPU fans so just try to get them to all come near the computer that's fighting for you. Repeat this until you run out of nano hack ammo and you should get 30+ kills from this spot at least. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/oX/OA/0ICLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-69zug==.jpgIncendiary Charge Grenadier 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Defeat 50 enemies with Incendiary Charges Anytime you find an Incendiary Charge Container, use it to kill everything you can. They don't show up until FBI Infiltration, but as long as you use them to kill as much as you can with the charges, even if it means carrying them to another room, you should be able to get this on your first playthrough. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/oX/OA/0ICLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-69zug==.jpgRDV Homing Missile Expert 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Defeat 50 enemies with RDV Homing Missiles See "RDV Pulse Cannon Expert". http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/oX/OA/0ICLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-69zug==.jpgRDV Pulse Cannon Expert 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Defeat 50 enemies with the RDV Pulse Cannon You should get both of the RDV weapon achievements during the 2nd driving mission (RDV Escape). If you don't, save your checkpoint (on a different save) after you are finished and load up the RDV Escape mission again and only use the Pulse Cannon (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/rt.png) until you get it, then reload again and only use the homing missiles (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/lt.png) until you get it. You can kill 50 enemies in the 2nd mission alone, so you should be able to get this easily. I didn't even use the homing missles in the first driving mission and was still able to get the achievement in the 2nd one. **Additional tip for weapon achievements - You can reload checkpoints and the kills will still count. For example, if you save at a checkpoint right before you fight a lot of enemies, after you kill all those enemies, reload the checkpoint and kill them again and repeat until you get the achievement with that weapon. You can then repeat the process with other weapons. I would only recommend doing this if you get close to the end of the game and you know you haven't used a certain weapon very much. Otherwise, you are wasting time when you will likely get the 100 kills easily with weapons you use often just by playing the game (thanks to CrustyDirtDemon for this tip.)** http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/oX/OA/0ICLiGJhbC9HFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzMAAAAA5+fn-69zug==.jpgSharp Shooter 35 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Achieve an average hit rate of 80% with projectile weapons There's no way to know where you are at with this one and it's apparently for the entire game since it doesn't unlock until the very end. So just make sure you are as accurate as possible with your ranged weapons through the entire game. Edited August 13, 2009 by erod550

One is the regular map for the level and the other is the Data Disk map. If you are playing on Easy and using my Data Disk location guide, you do not need the maps and they will take away from the chips you need for "Master Agent", so I would recommend against buying them. You can find the Data Disk location guide here. Note: You cannot reload levels so if you miss one disk, that's it for that playthrough. I highly recommend using all 5 of your save slots as you play through the game so you can back up a bit if you miss one. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/7Z/ED/14CLiGJhbC9DFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzcAAAAA5+fn+CyR9g==.jpgTooled-Up Agent 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Purchase all new weapons and weapon upgrades As long as you have gotten all the golden disks up until then, you will get this after you get the Nano Hack v2. It is not cumulative. The easiest way to get this is at the very beginning of the game since you don't have a whole lot to buy anyway. Just save all your chips and don't buy anything until you get the achievement. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/l2/G7/1YCLiGJhbC83FQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wL0MAAAAA5+fn+pRhjA==.jpgBig Spender 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Spend more than 10000 SaberSense chips at the kiosks This doesn't take very long to get. You have to spend way more than this to purchase all the weapons and upgrades. Just buy all the upgrades you can. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/7Z/ED/14CLiGJhbC9DFQQdXVVRGEU4L2FjaC8wLzcAAAAA5+fn+CyR9g==.jpgMaster Agent 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Fully upgrade character with all possible weapons and upgrades Even if you collect every chip in the game, you will still need to conserve to be able to buy everything. Don't buy any health or ammo at the kiosks. When trying for this achievement you will be destroying every box in the game pretty much anyway so you should be able to find lots of ammo in boxes. Also, if you are following my recommendation and playing on Easy, you have 10 lives so it's really not a big deal if you die. You start right where you left off, with your progress on the enemies the same, until you run out of lives. Also, don't buy the maps when playing on Easy. They are really not necessary since the game is quite linear and on Easy it always shows you where to go next. Use my Data Disk Guide and you should be able to find everything without the maps. I cannot stress enough how important it is that you explore every nook and cranny in the game to find chips. Kill every enemy, use Mooch to collect stuff that's out of reach. Also use Mooch to explore vents you can't get to with Darwin. It costs 36,150 chips to buy all the weapons and upgrades, and I finished with about 1,800 chips left over, and this was on my 3rd playthrough so I knew where most everything was already. If you miss even a few rooms, you could end up short on chips and unable to buy everything and that will mean an entire extra 8.5-9 hour (or more) playthrough just for "Master Agent", and you don't want that. Cla55y
great guide, just about to start this, all looks fairly easy except for that 80% accuracy one , that could prove challenging
erod550
That one isn't too hard if you use the Cluster Rifle a lot. I like to use it on the flying vacuum cleaners. You can rattle off 40 shots really fast and hit with almost all of them, so I'm sure that helped me get the 80% on my first run through. Same with the coffee machines. After you take out the laser you just wait for it to shoot its shield at you and then you pelt it with the Cluster Rifle as fast as you can. Kills it quick and helps with the accuracy too. The other issue I'm having is finding the last Silver Data Disk. I bought every available map and only came up with 49. Each disk unlocks an upgrade to buy too so without those last two you can't get Master Agent either. I'm playing through again on Special Agent but so far I'm little less than halfway through and haven't found any new ones. Edit - I actually found 49. I had the same number twice on my list. Still don't know where #50 is though. If anyone finds one that's not on a map let me know. Edited July 23, 2009 by erod550
wyldcat34
Great work dude, just a quick one to note: G-Force Special Agent 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg I have just completed the game on Easy and the option to play special agent has appeared, so I'm guessing you need to complete the game to get special agent, but at any level. erod550
Wow, that would have been nice to know instead of starting out on Challenging, heh. But then finishing on Challenging where you have to figure out the best way to kill each type of enemy really did help on Special Agent, so I guess it wasn't all bad. Thank you, though, will update the guide.

erod550
There are definitely some annoying parts on Special Agent, but it wasn't too tough. I'd say the hardest part was when you are finishing up the Power Generator level and you have to shoot out the three red things on each post hanging down while riding moving platforms around and getting shot at by the flying alarm clocks. And there is an infinite number of them; no matter how many you kill, more will spawn. The final fight on the big satellite dish can be tough too with the flying vacuum cleaners and irons both shooting at you while you're on a very narrow ledge. For the most part though Special Agent wasn't much tougher than Challenging. Come to think of it, that spot may be the key to getting Master Agent. I'm going to leave a save right at that part on my next playthrough on Easy. If I don't get Master Agent, I'll go back to that part and keep killing the alarm clocks to get chips until I can buy everything.
Judivarious
Question, How do you use the RDV Homing Missile? I don't remember the game ever telling me, and the manual doesn't state how.
Aksh0le
Question, How do you use the RDV Homing Missile? I don't remember the game ever telling me, and the manual doesn't state how. Left Trigger, just save at the begging, kill until you have run out of ammo, then reload the save and do it again. Also, I flew through the Special Agent Difficulty in 5 Hours 15 Minutes, so 8 hours is really easily done after your first playthru. Most of the time you can just run through and not kill enemies, just get to the next area, if you have to go back to that room, the enemies are gone Now to find the true way to get Master Agent and I will have my 1000GS. erod550
It took me about 8 hours to get Master Agent on Easy. I thought I had already gotten every chip before but I had missed several rooms that I found on my 3rd playthrough. I also did not buy any maps, no ammo, no health. The only thing I spent chips on was upgrades. I got to the Satellite levels with right at 7 hours played, and about 45 min later, I had the 50th disk and bought the last upgrade and had about 1800 chips left over. Then I reloaded my save from the beginning of the satellite levels and 35 min later had the 8hr achievement. That includes all health upgrades and ammo upgrades right(even for mooch)? cause I'm doing the same thing, haven't spent chips on anything but upgrades. This Achievement is ridiculous. erod550
Yes, basically it includes everything unlocked by finding the Data Disks. It unlocked as soon as I bought the last thing unlocked by finding the 50th Disk, so if you already got the achievement for finding all the disks, you basically have to do it all over again, as you can't buy every upgrade if you haven't unlocked every upgrade. CrustyDirtDemon
Ok guys I just finished off my 2nd play through which netted me the full 1000 GS. The collectable guide was perfect, and saved me a lot of money. In fact I only had 395 left over "Saber Chips" after purchasing my last upgrade. One tip to make extra cash is during the areas where you have to saberlize a fire extinguisher to melt near by ice, instead of following through with the objective you can kill the extinguisher over and over, each time it will only net you 10 "saber chips" but after an hour or so you could really rack up some easy money. Also another spot that allowed me to get nearly an extra 1000 "saber chips" was right before you get the gold data disk that contains the 2nd version of the nano hack weapon there is a checkpoint. Before you reach this checkpoint make sure you have collected all of the areas "saber chips". Once you get the checkpoint let your self get killed all the way until the game reloads the checkpoint. You will notice you still have the same amount of chips, but all the "saber chips" in the area have respawned. One last thing I would like to add was that the guide was pretty good and only needs a little touching up here and there. One of the major things that isn’t mentioned, pertains to each of the KILL XXX amount of enemies with XXX weapon. All you need to do, to get these guaranteed and not worry about loosing your accuracy is, have the weapon ready with ammo in it, and once getting to a checkpoint that has enemies nearby, kill all enemies, and then simply reload your checkpoint, and then rinse and repeat until you get your achievement. Also your kills and scans carry over, I got my SCAN achievement right after scanning the platforms that you have to move with the "GERBLE WHEEL MECHANISM" and I had no way near 100 unique scans that early into my special agent play through. All in all it was a very fun kid’s game and a very easy 1000 GS, in fact I found my Special Agent run through a complete joke since I was actually collecting my DISKS, and then purchasing my upgrades. Lastly on my Special Agent play through, which is where I got my master agent achievement completed, I did not buy ONE map, ONE Silver disk map, or any health or ammo. The game gives you more than enough, and after playing it once on easy it was a complete breeze for knowing where to go, and how to kill the tougher enemies. Thanx again, and hope this helps at least one person... Hit me up on XBL if you need help, just make sure to add a message or I will ignore the request…
erod550
Thanks for the tip on the scans carrying over. Also, in regards to the Kill XX enemies with each weapon, by reloading your checkpoint, do you mean reloading a previous save at the previous checkpoint or do you mean dying until it reloads the checkpoint automatically? CrustyDirtDemon
Thanks for the tip on the scans carrying over. Also, in regards to the Kill XX enemies with each weapon, by reloading your checkpoint, do you mean reloading a previous save at the previous checkpoint or do you mean dying until it reloads the checkpoint automatically? What I mean is that as soon as you get to a checkpoint that has enemies really close, kill them all with your desired weapon, and when their all dead, reload the save that you just made when you got to that checkpoint. A good example of this is during one of the FBI areas, you will come out of a door and to your left is a hall way with green lasers on the ground, and a door at the end on the left, SAVE your game on a new slot here. Then when you go through the door you will fight two water coolers, and at least 12-15 little "mice robots" Use the gun that you are trying to get the achievement with to kill all enemies. Once their all dead reload the save you just made, and rinse and repeat with the weapon you desire until the achievement unlocks. Then move on to the next weapon. That spot there can wield you ever weapon achievement in a matter of minutes, except for the Flame Thrower since you don’t have it yet, at that point. That is just and example, as there are many checkpoint at which you can save your game that has numerous enemies nearby, and work on them at numerous areas through out the game. Hope that clears that up for you, hit me up if you have more questions over XBL... By MGC.net standards I am the 2nd legit to finish the game for the 1K GS...WOOT WOOT.. erod550
Where does it show who got it first and whether they were legit? There were 6 other people that had the 1k on MGC when I finished it early Sunday morning.
