BlackRob182
You'd probably have to wait years before that's possible, at least for the US. Maybe UK might come around but probably not. I read a message on the Capcom forums from someone at Capcom and he stated why we don't have Frontier and more than likely never will. So without a good workaround for the Japanese game you can't really or ever play it at least on the xbox anyway
Irishbulletz
Its a shame really.. I played the one on the wii (which was my first monster hunter game) and its one of the best games on it. I've beat the game 100% and im currently hr 109 (nerd much? ) It would be cool if they released the game outside of japan though :/

Patmaster
No, you will not be able, not even with a jap. account since the game is IP-locked to play online. The servers will check your IP if you are situated in Japan or not. If not the server will refuse to let you play.
ShadowAssault
That is such a heart breaker, Monster Hunter is my favorite game of all time (Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G-PSP) And I am always on the XBOX 360, cause I am playing and talking to my friends. But they won't bring this game to America, it sucks, the time I would put onto that game. I would play it to death. In japan they get a free year of XBOX LIVE TOO. Come on guys send it here. Teh Paralyzer
Just got an email (I have a japan account) ad I cant read it but I can read MONSTER HUNTER FRONTIER 2 So I guess this game is already getting a sequal? And EU and US havent seen jack shit....
BlackRob182
It's not a sequel, it's called Forward 2 meaning it's basically version 12 on the update series. They now have Forward 3 as well. Or whatever version your talking about, the same concept applies lol
Teh Paralyzer
Haha I know this now since this is the 2nd game to hit 2000G and the first to break it.
BlackRob182
I so wish I could play this game, this is the only game I would spend hundreds of hours on to reach HR 900 lol. This blows I wanna play!
mcnichoj
Oh wow, it's been a while and I completely forgot all the stupid posts involving this game. No one could ever answer if I could just play this with VPN, guess I'll just have to get my Japanese box fixed and find out for myself. The rest of you unwilling to get another console should just settle for Dogma.
BlackRob182
You can't it's already been stated numerous times, it would run too slow to even move, it would work yes but you wouldn't be able to do anything. You would have to be one of the lucky people who have working IPs in order to play.
ronnie42
Hell no, they can't release a sequel until they finally get the first one since a lot of us are still waiting for the rest of the world to be able to play it. It be stupid not to since there losing out on money. http://xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/image/article/106/1063572/monster-hunter-frontier-20100126030804226-000.jpg

CHIRUNO99
You can play Monster Hunter in the US/EU still, you just have two options: PSP - Holding a hand-held in front of your face for hours on end bending your neck to see it. Possibly the most uncomfortable experience since I've been playing it for some time. Also hand-helds are better for short bursts of gaming, not long as hell sessions. Your multiplayer experience is, "Do you have a PSP?" "Do you have Monster Hunter?" "Do you want to meet up?" or you can use that PS3 application. Nintendo Wii - Doesn't really show us the full potential of the game and has the whole, swapping friend codes and the, "Are you on-line yet?" BUT it beats playing it on a PSP for hours. I'm only thinking the reason we don't have it is because Capcom doesn't give a shit any more, else we would have also had Power Stone.
