Missingnin80
I`m just about to purchase the game and was wondering about this achievement. Does it have to be played through in one sitting or can it be saved as long as the time you take is still under the 3 hr mark? Hopefully it`s not all in one sitting as i`m not sure i have the time to run through it all in one go!
davhuit
I don't think it has to be done in one sitting, as the game display the time played when you save, so it also save the time when you save.
davhuit
I can confirm it now, I just got it today, so it don't need to be done in one sitting (finished the game in 1 hour and 50 minutes).

Omega Hunter 9
So we know it can be done in multiple sittings, that means the pause menu doesn't count for the game timer?
HMeyrick
I was worried about this but it turned out that I finnished it in like 1.30 Just follow the guide and skip the cut scenes.
Huxy87
I think the pause menu still adds time. I zoomed flat out through leaving monkey island and it took 55 mins but i did go in the pause screen for 10 mins... Cant confirm this but just a heads up! noremac321
I hate these timed achievements. I just don't understand what's fun about them. Either you do it on your first playthrough and miss out on the story and the joy of exploring, or you have to replay it, and there's nothing enjoyable about slamming through the game you've already beaten just by hitting A over and over again. It makes sense on games like Sonic, which are built around speed, but not games like this. GTA IV did the same thing, one achievement I'll never get. BrainEeter666
Just did this today. I think if you press the guide button, it stops the counter. Hope this helps!
Ameno
Just did this today. I think if you press the guide button, it stops the counter. Hope this helps! Thanks I can't confirm this but I know just pausing the game via start will continue to advance the game time.
