Check out the large shipping containers. A few of them have the yellow hand icon on them. One of them had a dancing Saints Flow mascot in it. And I wonder if the Gothedral buildings have anything to them at all. Kind of elaborate for being just a building. and i wonder about the sonic boom weapon. It blasted off doors to certain mission points. i wonder if they can blast out other doors....

I can't remember what mission but during a mission the enemy I believe says something about Mr. Deus Ex. Back in august a game came out called Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

This is not a Deus Ex game reference. Kinzie tells the main character that she 'isn't some walking Deus Ex Machina' (or words to that effect) when asked if she has some miraculous solution to defusing the bombs at Magarac Island. A Deus Ex Machina was in Roman and Greek drama a person or event that provides a sudden and unexpected solution to a difficult situation, usually in the form of a god lowered by a machine onto the stage. Deus Ex Machina means literally 'God out of the Machine.'

tl:dr version: It's just a joke at the expense of games and movies that come out with these stereotypical situations.

Also, the giant bunny thing is called the Cabbit. It's an easter egg relating to Summoner, another Volition game from 2000.

Ok I didn't hear all they said I only heard Deus Ex and assumed it was from the game.

On the mission where you have to knock the gas tanks into the water on the Zombie island. When your mask breaks and you go to the mechanics to fix it if you go through the front door, there is a biker cowering from the zombies. who looks a lot like Francis from Left 4 Dead.

The name of the cargo ship is Nossirah , which is Harrison spelled backward. The registered port of the Nossirah is Stevenson , which was one of the original names for the first city in the Saints Row franchise, Stilwater.

Check out the dead penguin nailed to the bulkhead behind the bridge.

Near it's a list of missing ships to be on the lookout for (a mix of real ghost ships and fictional ones).

Don't miss the signs on the deck that command that doors on the cargo ship must be kept closed during bowel evacuation and warn that ''whizzing into the wind from deck'' is prohibited

During mission 1 watch Johnny Gat very closely when the SWAT team shows up . If you watch at the right moment , you'll see him whip out a giant blade and stab people in the face.

The achievement for completing http://deckers.die has flavor text : 01100010011011110110111101100010. This is binary for boobs

There is a portable toilet ring near the power plant with a smaller dildo ring in the middle. The easiest way to find it is to look for the gang operation in Burn Hills reactor that is swarming with deckers.

Almost all interiors in the game contain a hidden dildo duffle bag.

Look for the captured behemoth behind the 3 Count Casino

When Angel gets his mask back from the casino He does Hulk Hogans ear cup( Hulk Hogan voices him), also when you are fighting Killbane and you do the elbow from the top rope that was one of Shawn Michaels signature move, and finally during that match when you beging fighting Killbane he shakes the punches off and kinda pumps up, very similarly to The Ultimate Warrior(I haven't seen wrestilng in a long time, might be another wrestler i'm thinking about.)

The taunt "It's Not Unusual" is Carlton's dance from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

When they do the first STAG briefing, and Commander Cyrus Temple tells you about the girl who "was stuffed in a car trunk, then they laughed as her boyfriend crushed her in a monster truck" refers to Maero from the second game, leader of the Brotherhood of the Wolf.

Speaking of wrestling references Rob Van Dam is the commentator while you do the genki side missions and also the commentator when you play the murderbrawl mission.

Also the park area on the central island you can find 6 people playing guitar in a circle while a mascot dances in the middle of them

I don't really think any of the spoiler tags need to be there. Because like the johnyy gat LOL cat, that is easy to find, along with the others. I don't think they are need IMO. Did you see when Angel got his mask back and he did Hulk Hogans ear cup or whatever? I think that should be added if someone can record it.

Family Guy DID NOT make the Boom Goes the Dynamite joke.

Like always they took it from an internet meme...

wait a minute you have it listed twice, once as the meme and once as the Family Guy reference... weird.

oh also where is the Shaundi magazine?

I never posted that Family Guy made the joke. Some people recognized it from Family Guy, so I posted both for people to take their pick on it. [: The Shaundi magazine is located in most if not all the cribs and I've seen it at Rusty's Needles too. :)

plenty of the achievements are references as well.

>Double Dose of Pimping

a reference to the movie Idiocracy.

>Ow my Balls!

is also a reference to Idiocracy.

>Bo-Duke-En

is a reference to Fighting game special moves, specifically Street Fighter. and is also a reference to Duke of Hazard.

>Gellin' Like Magellan

Magellan was an explorer.

>Haters Gonna Hate

An internet meme

>Porkchop Sandwiches

a reference to the GI Joe PSA internet meme.

>mission: Stop all the Downloading

also a reference to the GI Joe PSA meme, but the one title Computers.

>Stay Classy Steelport

from Anchorman

and of course as mentioned before

>Boom Goes the Dynamite

an internet meme

I know a lot of the rest are also reference but I don't know what to

I'm thinking "Who Loves Ya Baby" is from Austin Powers (fat bastard) but not sure.

Oh also one of the radio stations is Adult Swim, so that's a complete reference to a TV network and pretty much each song and the DJ are references to different shows.

From Will Ferrells movie "Anchorman" as he would end all newscasts with "stay classy san diego"

and of course as mentioned before

>Bo-Duke-En

it's probably a combination of the two because it's definitely also a reference to Street Fighter. Hi-Duke-en!

>Gellin' Like Magellan

that doesn't even make sense, what does exploring have to do with shoe inserts? it also doesn't explain the word Magellan (which as I said before is the name of an explorer).

>Stay Classy Steelport

you are probably right.

I changed the two accordingly.
