Question The only thing missing in this game that nobody notices....

Can't belive they didn't put ball hopping ( Jumping the Q-ball over another ball ) in this game. When I play pool for real, Ball Hopping is one of the funnest. Maybe because it's a top view game. Oh well, I would of liked to see this feature.
What do you think?

You don't have to view the table from the top. Use the directional pad to change the view.

intentionally ball hopping is a foul

From the BCA's "Worlds Standardized Rules"

It is a foul if a player strikes the cue ball below center (“digs under” or “lofts” the cue ball) and intentionally causes it to rise off the bed of the table in an effort to clear an obstructing ball. Such jumping action may occasionally occur accidentally, and such “jumps” are not to be considered fouls on their face; they may still be ruled foul strokes, if for example, the ferrule or cue shaft makes contact with the cue ball in the course of the shot.

Unless otherwise stated in rules for a specific game it is legal to cause the cue ball to rise off the bed of the table by elevating the cue stick on the shot, and forcing the cue ball to rebound from the bed of the table. Any miscue when executing a jump shot is a foul.

So basically you must strike down on the cue ball and kind of cause it to bounce.

I played 9 ball for my university, you can do jump shots as long as you strike the ball down so it bounces off the table. Its realllllllllly hard though and even harder to control. I must admit I haven't missed the option to jump in this game partly because the swerve option is so ridiculous, and with aim mode 3 on you can just bouce off a rail and hit most shots anyway.
