This is a short review for Indianapolis 500 Evolution
Overview- Indianapolis 500 Evolution take you thorugh the years of 1961-1971, putting you up against real authentic drivers such as Al Aunser, A.J Foyt, any many many more.
Game Play-7 out of 10...The gameplay is done pretty well, the cars are really loose (they like to spin out), but that was how the cars of that time where. There are only 6 or 7 tracks in the game but you can see them change over the years, thats a really nice feature in the game, And last but not least is the damage done to the cars by crashing, you can destroy your car by slamming a wall or other car on the track and just like in realy life, the car will go in a million peices.
Sound- 8 out of 10..... The sound in this game is really nice, when you are in the first person camrea you can hear the engine very well and it sound nice. The crashed sound pretty nice too, some of the sounds are a little generic to racing games however it does not take any thing away
graphics- 7 out of 10.... The graphics for this game are so so, they look pretty nice but they are not the graphics of your Forza's but they are not bad.
Story Mode- 5 out of 10.... I think this was the main let down of this game, with no options to tune the cars, paint the cars, change your car number, and very little parts to buy for every year...theres not much more then racing...wich is funny to say that sence this is a racing game...there also are like memory moments were you remake history, some of the most fun I have ever had learning =)
AI- 6 out of 10.... This game has a "revenge" system in it, if you hit another car they will develop a dislike for you and spin you out, some times they will take you out for no ression...but thats racing as some say
final score 7 out of 10
This is a good game for the price, theres nothing special about the game other then the fact you can take a trip down memory lane, so if you are a race fan who likes to learn about the history of motor sports, or just a big racing game fan, this would be an alright buy for around 20 bucks, any thing more then that you got ripped.
