Marble Blast Ultra Pulled from XBLA

Apparently the game has been pulled from the marketplace, but the DLC is still available.

Can anyone confirm that the servers are still up for this game?

Yeah, it's been taken down from the Marketplace because the company that released it is no longer in business.

Luckily, you can still buy a code for it from Gamestop. Who knows how long it remain available there, though.

I was heartbroken when I heard the news. The best game, in my opinion, to ever hit the XBLA for the first 3 years the console was out.

I at least feel relieved as to knowing the reason why there was never a Marble Blast Ultra 2.

Awwww. I was always hoping they'd make a sequel to this game. Simple, but fun.

Is their anyway to get the Marble it up! add on now that it's not on the marketplace? I don't think you can get this at GameStop.

I also want to know this, because I hate that I've missed out on DLC and I want to 100% this game.
Anyone have any info?

I think the only way to 100% this game is to find someone who has the game and all the dlc. Then send them your profile file and have them get all the DLC Achievements. I think sending your profile to someone is safer then sending your e-mail address and password to someone. Just remember not to log into live until you get your profile back. But then you have to make sure you trust the person who your doing this with. I bought the Game and DLC when it first came out. I'm glad I never waited. I finally just got all the achievements in this game today. I haven`t played this game since 2008. Only took me 3 year to 100% this game. LOL. I have 68 Complete games now.

i honestly could give a shit about online play. i just wish my xbox would recognize this as a full game. but since it doesnt exist on xbl marketplace, it just reads it as a trial game. fuckin stupid.

I actually just purchased & downloaded this successfully from gamestop a couple weeks back (http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-360/gam...ltra-dlc/87596). As far as the DLC goes, i dont think that will be available unless you previously downloaded it.

For those who have owned this in the past, i would suggest going to https://live.xbox.com/en-US/Download/History, from there you can re-download anything you have purchased. Hope this helps.

Also... if you already own the game (or any of the DLC), and you want to be able to play it offline (or let a guest play with her or his own account)... you'll need to transfer the license to the console it is to be played on.
________________

I suppose if I ever want to get the DLC for this game that I don't yet have (I only got the free one when I saw it available 3 years ago)... I'm going to have to contact the two companies that seem to have joint ownership of the game license, and either have them make an agreement for sharing the profits (and re-release the game and DLC), or getting one of them to release their stake in it!

On a different note...
I'm still working on getting the Midway Games library back into the hands of a company that will publish it once again!! I'm sure there's scores of people who wish they got: Gauntlet, Joust, Robotron, Smash TV, Root Beer Tapper, Paperboy, Defender. I'm not sure if there were more... those are the only ones I'm aware of (and I only got the first three, that I listed).

Kinda sad, the very first XBLA game I purchased. Only noticed it wasn't there as I went to download it onto my kids 360, and its not there

Can I just copy it from my machine to theirs via a USB stick? Or do I face a trawl thru my download history?

If I own the trial, can I still buy this? There's no possible way I'll ever have 100% on my account, so I don't care about the DLC.

Another game like this -

Try checking out Switchball.
Think of it as a diverse sort of sequel to MBU...
