Haunt is a very light horror action/adventure for Kinect that gives you 200 points in a couple of hours without the pain in all your muscles the day after. The game needs to be played through only once, the collectables are easy to find and their location is described in the guide. Your progress in a stage can always be checked by pressing on your controller or performing the Kinect-Cancel position.
The only - somewhat - challenging achievement is to play the game through without using any Vitality Vials. I found the third area of the game the most difficult, if you start with that one, the rest should not be any problem. When you finish the third door, you will be faced with all four types of enemy ghosts in one fight. Make sure that before you exit the last stage, you collect the remaining pink bubbles in it to have your health bar filled for this last fight. If needed, you can also walk up the stairs to collect a bubble from a chest before heading down to place the last Phantaflask.
There are three achievements that can only be unlocked on a specific stage. Reel Scared is on Motility Vaults Stage 1, Framed is on Luminarium Stage 2 and Dead Ringer is on Auditory Annex Stage 1.
None of the achievements in the game are missable as all stages can be replayed by entering the respective door from the hall and selecting the stage.
Phanta-Stic Start 15
Retrieve the first Phantaflask and return it to the statue
Story-based, cannot be missed, it unlocks after the first minutes into the game.
Demon Dodger 10
Successfully avoid 5 Charger ghost attacks
The Charger ghosts come at you out of nowhere, when they appear you quickly have to either dodge or duck. There are plenty in the story, so do not worry if you get hit by a few. After the fifth you successfully avoid, the achievement unlocks.
Reel Scared 10
Star in a motion picture
On the Motility Vaults (Stage 2) level in the Security Room there is a projector. Pull the lever to start it and watch a short film recorded by the Kinect while you have been playing the game.
Smooth Mover 15
Retrieve the Phantaflask from the Motility Vaults and return it to the statue
Story based, it cannot be missed. Unlocks when you finish the Motility Vaults levels (left door).
Retrieve the Phantaflask from the Luminarium and return it to the statue
Story based, it cannot be missed. Unlocks when you finish the Luminarium levels (door in the middle).
Pose for a photo and then admire the picture
On Stage 2 of the Luminarium level head to the Photographic Room, enter the door to the Dark Room, get the camera flash, go back and put it on the camera. Once you are ready, activate the camera and you will have 5 seconds to move in front of it to get your photo taken. When done, walk to the Gentlemen's Parlor to look at your picture on the wall. I recommend you to do it as soon as you start the stage, because once the crystal was inserted, for some reason the photo did not appear on the parlor wall.
Super Natural 10
Defeat one of each type of ghost
Story based, it cannot be missed. Each level has its own special type of ghost. When you play your third room/level and kill the first specific ghost of that level, it unlocks. It cannot be missed as these ghosts cannot be avoided while playing the story.
Dead Ringer 10
Answer the ringing telephone
On Stage 1 of the Auditory Annex level there is a telephone in the Budoire, in the same room with the 2/13 newspaper clipping. The first time you enter the room it might not ring, but do not worry, go and approach the room again just before you exit the level, the phone will start to ring. Go and pick it up to listen to some disturbing noises.

Retrieve the Phantaflask from the Auditory Annex and return it to the statue
Story based, it cannot be missed. Unlocks when you finish the Auditory Annex levels (right door).

Soul Survivor 40
Complete the game without using a Vitality Vial
The vitality vials are the heart shaped flasks you find throughout the game. The vials are used automatically when your health meter reaches zero. Just make sure to collect the pink bubbles to regain health if needed, they are allowed. If by accident a vial is used up, just quit the game and restart the stage. The game only saves after you have completed a stage. Your consumed vial is not counted in this case, but you have to replay the stage, of course. If this happens, make sure you collect the newspaper clippings again, they were not saved neither. There are more than enough pink bubbles on each level to refill your health meter even if you get hurt.
