Set difficulty to easy or medium?

I don't think there's a difference. achievement-wise..the only difficulty that gets u an achievement is hard, right?

Yes, just play through the game on easy for all the primary and secondary lights. And later on finish the game on hard, you don't have to do the secondary lights for that.

Correct, i did that, just I played through the first time mostly on medium, I put it on easy for the last 4 destruction events. Then I deleted my save, (after earning all the other achievements such as 'furiously fast', etc.) and played through again on hard. Seven achievements left, and I've only had it for 3 weeks, plus I only play on weekends.

depends how you look at it! if you play on medium you will be hitting more people rather than just staying in front so you get the weapons achivements done a lot quicker whilst doing the story mode. If you stay on easy you wont get much done until you head online and get battered from every possible direction no matter how good you are.

I just set it to easy because on Medium I just couldn't do some events, And there's no difficulty-related achievements so there's really no point on having it higher than easy.

Just started playing this last night and went ahead and put it on easy. Makes it a cake walk to blow through campaign. The game is fun, but I doubt I will go back through and do it on hard.

Initially for races you should play on easy, this will aid in adapting to the variety of things you will encounter while racing. Checkpoints and Demolition is different.

When playing checkpoint events on easy vs hard there is a 20 second difference, this can be quite steep and hence frustrating when transferring to hard mode. If I were to do it again I would certainly play checkpoints on medium.

Demolition events are very challenging, for the sake that fan targets require skill and memorization of waves of enemies and course layout. For this I would play medium and hard, if you can play Demolition only on hard. This will only aid with gaining the difficult fan targets.

Races Easy

Checkpoints Medium

Demolition Hard (Recommended) Medium is certainly possible to finish fan targets (I just hate these events and doing them twice was super pain, totally biased here).

Hopefully you completed this by now lol..

I always play my games on easy. I play for fun, not frustration.
