Worth the $?

I'm just curious to anyone that has it on your thoughts of the DLC and whether or not it was a good pickup.

Thanks

I got it last night. If you enjoyed the main game, it is definitely worth 800 MSP. If you didn't, it's just more of the same.

There's quite a bit of questing to be had, some new armor sets, a good storyline. Unfortunately the level cap doesn't go up so I'm still stuck at 40

it is very much worth the 800 ms points. There are some funny achievements. Tons of side quest, huge new location to explore. Definitely worth it.

I'd like to add that the DLC is worth it even if all you could do was talk to Captain Brattigan for a couple hours. Holy crap is she funny o_o

"I had to maroon my previous first mate on a deserted island. That man became obsessed with me. Probably because we had sex.....a lot...."

"Do you know where we're going?"
"Well, since I don't believe in navigation, probably not. Anyway, crash enough ships and eventually you start to get the hang of it."

And more....seriously do every dialogue option with her that you can. haha

The dialouge in the DLC with Captain Brattigan is straight up hilarious.

Totally agree, this DLC is worth the 800 though i havent played the game or DLC yet, I did have the pleasure of watching someone play almost all the DLC from start to finish.

Well with the recent trend these past few years of overpriced DLCs that offer no more than an hour of content (Saints Row: The Third is a perfect example), I would say "The Legend of Dead Kel" is definately worth the asking price. While many people will complain that DLCs are "more of the same", when have they not been? They are simply adding content to the game. And in this case, "more of the same" isn't a bad thing!

Bethesda tried the "not more of the same" with Operation Anchorage for Fallout 3, and it wasn't overly successful. More of the same is probably a wise move.

I really enjoyed this DLC. It was extremely meaty... I sunk like 10 hours into it I think just with all the exploring, quests and continuous Gravehall events. Also not to mention the story-line was better than the main games story. I hated that but loved this.

I loved both the DLC's. I think they are definitely worth the price. You get a ton of extra gameplay and the storylines are excellent. They are both original and entertaining. I would say if you like this game both the Teeth of Naros and The Legend of Dead Kel are a must have.

I absolutely LOVE this DLC so far. I'm a year behind everyone in playing this game, but oh man, I for one love the game and this DLC. It is tragic that the developer is no longer in business.
