wtf

I just don't get it. I obviously have no knowledge of how achievements are created but I can't imagine it requiring more than a few hours of a programmers time. I can't understand why in the world a developer wouldn't add achievements considering it's win-win. I desperately want to buy both dlc packs but doing so only tells developers that it's ok for them not to add achievements when it most definitely is not.

I bought it because it is fun to play. I would like them to release more. And more achievements would be nice.

Im not buying

I am not going to buy, partially because the fact that there is no achievements. I think dlc should always have some added points, even if it is just 40 or whatever, idc. But I'm also not buying because to be honest, I had enough of the game the first time. I loved the first assasin's creed, but this one was just more of the same to me, and I didnt like the story and at times the bad controls.

I still want to play both episodes of DLC, but they're way down on my priority list without any achievements. There are other games like Serious Sam HD, that I'd rather spend my money on.

I still don't understand what achievements have to do with the purchase of a game. =\

If it's a good game, it shouldn't matter.

It was a decent DLC.... though the lack of achievements was definitely a big letdown.

Even with achievements I wouldn't buy this crap. DLC is pathetic. These chapters should have been in the game to begin with.

I loved the Warriors game, I do wish they'd port that and give me some cheevos to work on for it.

If I wasn't such an AC geek, I wouldn't have bought them, either. The story adds a little to the overall narrative, but mostly it's pretty obvious they shouldn't have been DLC. Ubisoft should've at least tagged them with achievements to make it worth our while, because strictly on gameplay it's not. (As an aside, I did appreciate that they threw in the flying machine for those of us who missed Flyswatter.)

Achievements would have made this DLC amazing, but considering the price of it and as it fills in that missing hole in AC:II I guess it is worth it.

no acheivements in dlc = good

Oh my God, you just made me cry a little... I instantly thought about the hours I spent on finishing Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Valkyrie Profile or Parasite Eve 100%, and what the achievements could have been at that time...

XD, actually hadn't noticed it, it doesn't seem that big of an issue to me, besides, what would it be, 100 extra points?

You like the game? Buy it. Have no extra points? Don't.
I bought the complete edition and I think most of the gamers were scammed with a half-ready game, and were charged extra for the parts which should be in the original game. Playing through the complete edition made me feel that this is a whole game, with 1000 GS to earn, with a reliable price.
What is my point? You don't have to run and buy games on release day.

I bought the game on release, and without considering if they had cheevies I got the DLCs too - I only started playing the game a few days ago (yeah, I know), and was pretty disappointed that there weren't any "complete sequence x" cheevies, but I enjoyed them anyway (apart from the "do this without being spotted" ones, which were a PAIN)... it would have been nice to have the cheevies, but I'm not really bothered that they weren't there, just strange that I've had 2-3 hours more game-play than my friend who completed it, and I'm going to finish it tonight...

I bought the GOYE for 5 (new too)! At first I thought where is the 1000+ for it, I don't mind though, achievements or not for DLC I would still have bought it.

I bought it anyway and enjoyed what they had to offer but I do agree that there should have been achievements.

I always feel a little short-changed when DLC doesnt add achievements but its still well worth the buy.

Cool Stood to gain some money

I know, Ubisoft stood to gain some money if they would have added cheevos to there DLC for AC 2. Too bad for them I guess...

I see the achievements in advance, to know what to go for. If the cheevo ruins the fun of the first playthorugh, i do it in my second.
