SP achievements earned with co-op?

I've tried searching but can't find the answer I'm after...

Can all the achievements in this game be earned in co-op? Or do you also have to play SP to get some of them?

Every achievement can also be earned in MP since there is no difference in storyline/side-quests.

Great choice, you will have tons of fun and both you and your friend can earn all of it in co-op.

Some tips you might want to consider or ignore all together:
Play the main story first before doing DLC's, that way the story doesn't get mixed up/confusing and stay on your first play through after finishing the main story because the second play through will starts off with level 20 enemies and it gets harder, 2nd PT is for better loot eventually and just end game messing around.

On to the DLC in order:
Zombie Island of Dr. Ned
- Some plot quests will re-appear so finish main story first.

Claptrap's New Robot Revolution
- Nice relaxing DLC, also post main story stuff you'd like to avoid at first.

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx
- Best money value of them all, great loot, lots of stuff to do and huge enviroments.

Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot
- Last but not least, enemies will come in huge numbers and waves, will be scaled to your current level so you might want to loot and equip the best gear possible gathered from your travels above, this is the long run, be prepared for a long sitting fighting off hordes of enemies.

Thumbs up

Cheers mate that's great advice, appreciated!

So after finishing the main story, you can basically mop up on the remaining acheivements a la free roam??

It's a game I passed on when it was released but the things I've seen/heard from Borderlands 2 makes me want to play the first one.
