Just to let everyone know, If you are on your second play through and need to get the achievement for doing all side quests you DO NOT have to do digging up the pass unless you want ending E that playthrough, but you do have to redo all you finished in your first. I missed a couple of things on my first play through since I wasn't using a guide. I started again on a second following this guide and got everything done but one bird before I noticed I didn't do any dig spots. I let the bird go and the achievement unlocked for completeing all quests.

The guide helped alot. but there is one issue I encountered that I would suggest need to be changed to save time. You say do the art mission and head to the cemetary right away. then go back for the shadow play sign. My issue with it was my game glitched so I couldn't use subway shortcuts. I had to backtrack to put the art together to get the clue, then go forward to the cemetary then back track pass the art location again to get the last signal. I would have rather got the signal before puting the art together or right after then head to the cemetary to avoid that backtrack. Other than that I had no promlems. Thanks for the guide.

Great guide! Used it and got everything. Nice simple guide with good pictures and descriptions! Thanks.

Some errors/glitches I encountered while playing (second time)

- Sometimes a note wouldn't show for some reason. So leaving the area/building/room and then going back it was there.

- the mystery "Mystery: Employee Review" was badly glitched as so much I could see it but couldn't pick it up. I read on another thread that to fix it you go in the room first BEFORE picking up the previous note that is attached to the guard hung upside down. reloading the previous save and doing it that way fixed it for me.

- the mystery "Mystery: Poem Fragment 2" was again badly glitched. Its the one where you have to do the play, open the curtains move the light etc. I did it in the correct order but nothing happened. So I did it again and then it loaded the correct scene (shack spawning, rain etc)

- The puzzle inside the shack (related to above point) again was glitched. I completed the puzzle, all the blocks were correct, but nothing happend. I had to reload then come back in and do it again. This time it worked.

Don't know if its worth adding those under each relevant Item/location as not being able to pick one up might result in people giving up.

EDIT: Also, just for anyone else wondering. I did the Bank Job sidequest, killed monsters (I ended with having killed 10) and still got the A/C endings.

Great guide! Oddly enough, I got the Silent Hill Historic Society achievement before I picked up the last two Mysteries.

Also turns out I only missed that Mystery behind that shelf in the Prison on my first run, when I wasn't using any guides.

This guide is awesome Tyger7. I've had it open on my PC for my entire play through. Really appreciate it. I don't think I could have collected everything without it. I love the the Screenshots as this game can be confusing and you can end up wandering around for awhile, Really appreciate the effort : )

You should mention that you need the code from the before collected mystery

Mystery: Addressed Envelope

in order to open the LOCKED DOOR and in order to continue. Other than that great job as usual.

Haven't played in a while, is it an option to just look at it in your mysteries? Like to read it. I can always add the code so people don't have to look.

Great guide....IDK how ppl can do all this.

Not the biggest of deal but I noticed that as soon as you walk into the Contenial building there is a map on the wall directly after you auto get your parole papers. Would be almost impossible to miss....but its not listed on your guide and all the others do.

I got the achievement in my very last playthrough without doing "digging up the past"! I guess it was glitchy, i tend to do that a lot
