Rock Band Export Issue

I'm fairly new to the Rock Band Series and got Rock Band 3 off Games on Demand the other day. Today I bought both Lego Rock Band and the original Rock Band preowned just so I could export the tracks into Rock Band 3. To my surprise they both exported fine even though they are preowned copies. But the tracks off Rock Band (Maybe not all of them, but I have noticed several so far) come up as disc read error when trying to play them. There are a few scratches on the preowned game so this may be where the problem surfaces. But has anyone got any tips? For example if I clean the disk or buy a new copy is there an easy way of doing the export again or do I have to manually delete every track from my hard drive and then export again? (Does that even work?) Help will be much appreciated.

The exact same thing happens to me with some of the RB1 songs, I tried to play Beetlebum earlier and it kicked me out.

As a UK user, the problem is most likely the fact that you exported from a UK copy of RB. Quoting the thread from the official RB forums about this:
