I would say play the trials of each and see what you like more. Personally I prefer Deathspank.

I haven't had a really good Arcade Game in a long time. And I really like Bastion. The narrating adds so much to the story. Although it is rather on the short side. But I suggested this game to all my friends and they truly enjoyed it.

Haven't tried Deathspank. But one of my friends said it was good. So I'm not to sure about that one.

Play the demos. I've never heard of deathspank, but looking them both up shows Bastion is generally rated a higher score.

I've got 200 in both.

Bastion is more story telling, Deathspank is more of a dungeon crawl.

Bastion is a series, end of the world sotry
Deathspank is a ton of laughs.

What's more fun.... probably Deathspank.
What's the better game ... bastion.

People tend to trick themselves into believing they got an awesome game when it was a mediocre POS. If you dropped 20k on a car, and your friend got a better one for half that, you would still say yours is better because you payed more for it.

Micro$oft can fuck off with their overpriced games. NEVER again will I pay 1200 points for anything.

I've played the first two Death Spank games and had a great time with them. I'm currently playing Bastion and can't get excited about it.

Give the trials a try to see what suits your personal taste best.

I would choose Bastion over Deathspank.

Deathspank is a longer game, but i started getting bored near the end.

Game critics generally get reviewer copies, so you can't blame Bastion beating Deathspank on price. I don't recall Deathspank being up for over 15 awards at E3.

Personally, I think you have bad taste in games, bastion was amazing, it rightfully won awards, and was good enough that I payed for the soundtrack as well. I made no mention of me paying for the game itself, it seems you just assumed that out of context.

End of the line, was Deathspank good enough for you to want to go out of your way to support the developers even more than just paying for the game? If not, you loose.

Well if you prefer comedy and button-mashing go with DeathSpank, if you prefer a compelling story and a little strategy go with Bastion

Deathspank was definitely more laughs but got boring toward the end. Bastion was short enough to avoid this problem.
