It took me about 5 tries to get past this section. I got a little farther each time. Switch to vehicle mode on the "straight-away's" and let off on the LT when making turns to make turning easier (stealth mode). Pulse the boost button (RT) but don't hold it down. Whatever you do, don't switch to robot form.

If your screen starts to go red, then hold down the boost. Most important, keep moving.

Once you do it a few times, you'll begin to remember where the turns are and where to hit A to jump. All I can tell you is to keep at it. If you're trying too hard, you won't get it. Believe me, that's usually the way it is. Just take it easy and don't get frustrated.

This part took me a couple tries too. I kept getting turned around and ending up where I started.

You essentially need to beat the lava so speed is the key... Took me about 5 goes before I realised I just needed to floor it.

As noted by another member if screen starts to glow red -- boost !

Agreed. This section is frustrating as hell and doesn't seem to add much to the story. What's the point of this? I guess its good if you are addicted to loading screens. Ooohh cool! Extra tips! Thanks a lot!

This really wasn't frustrating. It took me one try. But yes, you do need speed and learn how to drift well. That's how I did it.

Your level is bad and you should feel bad!

That lava level is cheap! Glad some of you didn't have trouble with it. That was the first place in the game where I got stuck. Finally got past it....
