Dire Distance - The Perfect Easy Way

I was having an odd time with this and then I found this and I can get it everytime, add to whatever guide we're building.

When you have the discus bend your knees and try to get low as possible, though you don't have to. Take the discus in your right arm. Stand with your arms at your side and turn your shoulders to your left in a lazy manner flailing your right arm to your left hand. Turn your shoulders back and let your right arm swing back like a pendulum and with a enough speed, halfway through this pathetic twist the discus will fall from your hand at approx. 3.5.

When i did it, I started with my arm held high about 12 oclock. then I brought it swinging down slowly, giving it a bit of speed once id gone past about 3 oclock; as if I was throwing it straight into the floor. Got 2.8m that way.

I did it by using my right hand, then swinging my right arm behind me to my left side, just like I'd do it normally, but rotate to the opposite direction, and then brought my arm back around to the front at a medium pace. I'm not sure if this is what the OP meant, but my directions may be a little clearer none the less. I wasn't exactly flailing around, but my form definetly was wacked

Here is my method. A lot simpler and efficient (in my opinion).
Stand like a mannequin with your arm up.
Don't ever move that arm.
Pivot (in place) from one side to the other, always keeping that arm in the same position.
BingO bangO, you got yourself the flaccid throw you were looking for.
