In-game map

Is there a way to display the in-game map for the campaign?

tbh the areas are pretty linear and mostly small (except for jakes mountain but it has one) there are no treasures, except those cases but they are in plain sight mostly, like in the other games and you can always press LB to see where you have to go next <---- think i used it 2 times total.

i know there a quite a few people who are demanding one but i didnīt miss it once.

I liked the minimap in re5 so it would be nice if it returned in re6 but its not that important i guess.

I love the game I guess the only other thing I would have to say is that it blows that you can't pause during the game. It seems that I always have to get up to do something during the boss fights in the game.

i Mr Pete's Gamercard
the lack of a mini map was yet another dissapointment for me! all previous titles have had one! only reason i can think for them excluding it was the fact that it wasnt really needed bearing in mind you just followed a very linear path through the whole stinking game and there was no need to explore/backtrack! it was just keep pushing forward killing the same old predictable enemies with no need to look around at all! felt a bit like a cod game at times, just praying for that next checkpoint! or in my case the end of the game!

RE 6 is not an RPG thus doesn't emphasize exploring much. I could work around just fine without a mini-map.

RE6 actually made me forget that RE5 had a minimap. Don't worry about it, you won't need it.

I do, however, wish there was a way to turn off that stupid objective indicator...it ruins the immersion for me.

You have to turn your game to 'Offline mode" to be able to pause.

you don't need a minimap since the maps are linear and there's the whole lb compass thing

and you can pause if you play in offline mode (not offline, offline mode) if you play in xbl mode, even if you play solo without letting anyone join, you can't pause

They should of turned off pausing once someone joined.

rpg's aren't the only game type that emphasizes exploring. perhaps you have played some of the games that made the resident evil franchise the success story it is today?
