The people who were in charge of choosing the music for the Bass Arena are officially my favourite people involved in this game. That soundtrack is pure amazingness. However, I'm a little underwhelmed with the Rock station.

What do you guys think?

Welp, I'm officially old. I've only heard of 11 of those groups, most of them from the Rock section. Out of those 11, I can only say I've actually heard their music on 4 of them. And that little blurb of Neon Trees from the commercial. I have probably heard some of the others, just not to know it was them.

Now get off my lawn, whippersnappers! Scallywags, all of you!!

Lol, that's more than I recognize. I might have heard 2 or 3 somewhere but I couldn't tell you a single thing about any of them.

That's sums up my thoughts on the music

Although, i was hoping for a few more tracks from Modestep and Mord Fustang, i've got some of these playing in my car and they're a joy to drive to.

I think this game will have me doing that too. I don't really know anything about Dubstep but it's pretty energetic sounding, something I think I'd enjoy driving too.

A good list but I'm sure like most forzas, because they are such large games time wise (over 100hrs to 100% on them) that even these tracks will get on your nerves after the 20hr mark and you'll switch to listening to your own music stored on the HDD instead =)

As I understand it, we will get information over the radio stations about events and things. So turning them off may hinder advancement a bit.

Didn't hear anything about this but it seems daft that I can't listen to my own music in fear of missing details of events etc

I was gonna turn the in-game music down and just play my own stuff from the HDD but now it looks like I can't do that as I've done in previous forzas

Didn't say you couldn't do it, said it may hinder things. Events won't fail to appear just because you didn't hear about them. You may just have to find it by driving near it on the way somewhere else, instead of hearing about it on the radio and being able to drive to it.

Should be like in a real car with traffic reports that fade the music when they need to announce something I'm def going to try the speach recognition via the kinect for the GPS to take me to events

thats unfortunate, i was hoping this game would have some classic driving songs ( radar love, highway star etc) but instead its filled with stuff i've never heard of in my life

assuming most of that is dubstep i must be a bit disappointed with the music side, since i firmly believe that dubstep is the music of satan

From the 10 odd groups I recognize on there doesn't look like a bad list, nevertheless can't wait to blast these tunes while cruising.

The guys over at jalopnik made the playlist on spotify. If you have spotify just copy paste http://open.spotify.com/user/hardigr...u1TOUnbLyQarug
into the search and it comes up with the playlist. If you dont have spotify it will take you 5 minutes to get it running (especially if you have a facebook account).

Matt Hardigree created it, I do not take any credit for it. Some songs you can skip if you dont like but most of the songs are amazing, especially when you tag along the "driving while listening to these songs"!

the porter robinson song "language" sounds a hell of alot like zedd - spectrum .. which is my fav. song to listen to right now.

and yes the bass and arena station is the best, hands down.

I was looking foward to the trance, but then I see it's all mainly dubstep...looks like I still have my headphones in racing. Depending on how this one does, they could get some big names in for Forza Horizon 2. Maybe even get Armin Van Buuren or Paul Oakenfold (godfathers of trance) to be the broadcasters and live mixers in the game at the various festivals, now that would be fucking awesome.

At first glance this soundtrack looked terrible but then I saw Noah and the Whale, Miike Snow, Passion Pit, and Two Door Cinema Club.

All great
