Does it take forever to save games for anyone else?

For me, loading has greatly improved from Dead Rising 2 to OTR. However, it takes me forever to save. When i click the save button, i wait anywhere from 20-40 secs to choose a slot to save in, and then wait another 20-40 secs after choosing to save. The actual saving process is quick, but my console almost seems to freeze for this period of time when saving. I had this issue with number 2 as well. Does anybody else have this problem or know a solution? Thanks in advance.

Thanks to GSDragon for the sig!

It happens to me as well, bro. I had to play this on my old 60GB Premium over Xmas whilst my Slim was being repaired and it worked a bit differently. It still took ages, mind, but with the Slim you get more of a freeze before the Save screen appears whereas with my old Premium, the save screen appears first, THEN it freezes, so at least you know it's working.

Weird either way. I find OTR much glitchier than DR2 btw. I've been transported to "zero rendering/textured world" several times and things fuck up regularly. If anything, I'd save more often on OTR, because I don't trust this game to work properly.

I realize this is an old thread, but the solution is to save your game on a USB stick. The game will not hang like it does when using the hard drive.

DR2, Case 0 and Case West all had the same issue. The workaround has been the same in every game.

As an added bonus, using a USB will also prevent from your partner from being booted while playing co-op.
