Bonfires Tricky jumps Locations

Video IS UP! Credit goes for ***Coopa Bruzz*** for recording it HOWEVER the guide down below shows my technique on how I got mine which shows a bit different ways to do the jumps.

-The map has 6 tricky jumps.
-The initial point has 2.
-The broken house has 2 (The one that is exactly under the giant rock the one with the doll on it)
-The statue building has 1.
-The second beam point has 1.

How to get them properly?

1-From the giant rock to the initial beam.

2-From the broken house to the initial beam.

3-From the flying platform to the statue building (you need to do this while you are a bit far from the building).

4-From the flying platform to the second beam through the 1st or 2nd window.

5-There is a curved rock on your left side when you spawn go to the top of it and double jump to the broken house.

6-NOW THIS IS VERY ANNOYING! in order to do this you need to blink through the window of the broken building HOW? go above the beam point that is between the second and the highest point building double jump towards the broken house and blink then when you get close to it blink for the other time to go under the second floor of the broken house.

Hint: this is some tips on what to do but if you ask me how I did it? the answer is that this is a luck based achievement and you need to be patient to do it but practice the tricky jumps then go after the achievement.

For #3, I can confirm that you need to blink through the broken window of that house to get it (I can get it to register if I'm level with the window as opposed to being on an angle). It seems the trick with these jumps is that the Blink cross hair needs to touch the beam of light.

Not always register as tricky

Can't seem to get Number 1 to work...

Are you saying to turn right and hop onto the floating wooden platform as soon as you start, and from there blink to the beam? My blink doesn't get that much distance.

Nahhh, when you get the beam respawn in that building grab a platform and double jump and blink on the beam btw u should do that while the distance between you and the window a bit far away as it wont work if you got very close!

I wish this achievement was just to find all the jumps as opposed to finding all of them in ONE round

Does anyone knows how to do number 3 correctly?

Yes. Basically double jump and fall just outside the broken house. When you are about level with the window, Blink through. This is best done when you go from the second beam of light. The window is on the right side of the building.

They need to patch Bonfires. This achievement is almost impossible with the random locations and the not-so-forgiving time limit. I can do 5/6 easily before the points get really far apart and the time limit goes close to zero by the time I get there.

Also for #4, if you blink up to the street level door archway and then blink to the spawn beam, that's the tricky jump.

I'll post some videos, maybe even livestream this weekend. I practically found the optimal paths for all of them (I'm currently #2 on the leaderboards at the moment ;] ), which should help a lot of people out. The trick is the stars have to align for you. If you're lucky, you should hit beam #2's tricky jump early on...otherwise with the time decreasing it's not possible.

Just unlocked it! AhhhhhhhhH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Final Confirmation:

1: Left side of spawn - blink to the flying platforms and blink into the window

2:Highest point of map - blink to the floating rock with the doll and then double jump, blink to the spawn beam when you've fallen halfway.

3:From the second beam of light there is a house on the right hand side if you're facing the initial spawn point. You need to traverse the buildings then free fall on the right side of this house til you are almost parallel to the broken window. Blink through it, but make sure you do not hit anything or else it will not count.

4: If you are at the broken house and the beam goes back to the initial beam, blink to the door frame just left of the beam, located street level, then blink to the beam. You have to blink to the middle of the door frame for it to count.

5: From the initial spawn, to the left will be a tree and a rock planted at an angle. Go to the top of it and then blink to the broken house.

6-Coming from the beam of light left of the spawn, take the floating platforms and blink to each one til you get to the side of the second beam of light. Blink through the larger window frame (the smaller one doesn't work, trust me).

Ugh.. Just spent the last 2 hours trying that... The only good thing that came out of it was a 3 star rating (Finally...)

Rather than bending time for a split second... tricky jumps should double the time received from a beam.

Holy shit these have to be the worst descriptions I've ever seen. How is anyone supposed to figure this gibberish out? Can't tell what rocks, what buildings, or what windows anyone is talking about.

Thanks, STLfan. Finally some visual aid. Now looking forward to my million attempts tomorrow until the beams spawn in a somewhat feasible order.

Thanks again, STLfan. Once I finally saw where the other two were it wasn't too bad. Took me a little under an hour. Was getting 4-5 nearly every attempt but the game doesn't like to spawn the ones you need.

This has to be my worst challenge. My mind just can't process all of the movements, and the time limit only adds to my personal hell. I managed to break 30,000 points on all of the other normal challenges, but barely got 12,000 on this one and I was trying my best. I guess I'll just have to keep trying, but the video seems to be a blur to me because I can't remember the bloody map.

The video is very helpful in seeing what jumps need to be cleared in what ways. The luck required in this dlc to even have a potential successful run is maddening. Ive been at it for almost 3 hours and have yet to have the light spawn on initial spot from top of house a single time. Not once. And the more i play the worse a taste this leaves for the game, which is too bad. Retail release and other 2 dlcs are stellar, and this piece of garbage ruins it. Not sure why achievement guide says 5-15 hour time to complete- no one on here seems to have come close to that.

I tried this one for days and days until I just gave up and came back to it after I'd finished all the other ones. Coincidentally, I unlocked it on the same day as Void Star, which proves how stupid and luck-reliant these achievements are. It really is a shame because, as you said, the other DLCs and the original game are absolutely amazing.

Yeah i tried for a good 5 hours last night, getting 4-5 most runs and 6 several times with duplicates, but havent had all 6 different yet. Have void star, this, and by my hand left and just bonfires/backstreet on expert for void. Im sure id enjoy the dlc if not for the difficulty in achievements- but it still doesnt fit the retail game much at all imo. Not a single time do you have anything time related, so a speed run dlc just doesnt fit to me. I get the idea behind it, i just think the execution is off. Had luck not played such a huge role in scoring and cheeves i bet this wouldve been received differently.
