RoD Achievements Released

Well from what I'm looking at, 100% is now going to be that much harder. At this current time, I'm having a few issues getting Gold from the previous DLC on the last 2 extreme tracks, but now all Platinum (except extreme) on the new list... Plus it looks like we have another Marathon!

The Squirrels Have Nuts 10
You don't have to be crazy to find every squirrel in Big Sands, but it helps!

Atomic Number 78 10
It's elemental: Get all Platinums in Big Sands (except Extremes) to qualify.

Never Say Stop 10
Zero fault Pump It Up without hitting the brakes.

Etremophile 10
All you have to do is pass one Extreme in Big Sands. Just one. You can do it!

Ultimate Endurance II 10
Pass Level 15 in Neverending Trials.

Wail of the Banshee 10
Zero fault the Hard as Nails tournament using the Banshee.

Cult of the Golden Wheel 20
Find the legendary Golden Wheel of Sir Daniel of Stockport.

The Dystopian 20
Finish Dystopia without faulting and turn all five traffic lights green.

You can also download it HERE

Will probably get the game on sale next week, but forget these DLC's and the added frustration.

I'm 55/79 and 25/31 in platinums, so I think I can get that achievement, but I don't think anyone should have to put as much time as me to ever get these achievements.

EDIT: Riders of Doom Platinums are much much much harder than the all the previous ones. Can't even come close.

Goodbye 100% on Trials Evo. Will look nice next to my unfinished Trials HD.

As much fun as the Trial games are, Evolution is my favorite and the less frustrating of the two. I still suck at it but it's better looking and that makes it more fun.

ditto nev (though the last DLC did that to me, never attempted the wheelie, and i barely tried to get gold on the extremes because i can't do that smegging cannon skilll game)

though this DLC will be destroying my completion as theres gonna be around half of the achievements i can't do...yet, need to eat, sleep & breathe trials for a while until i have some skills back

Hopefully I can get the Plats. I'm only missing one from the main game, not counting tournaments, which is Way of the Ninja.

I'm more worried about this:

Ultimate Endurance II 10
Pass Level 15 in Neverending Trials.

I have no idea what this entails, but it can't be easy.

Just spent 2 hours on Neverending Trials, got to level 10 twice.

Ultimate endurance is basically 5 hard tracks in one tournament.

These are the hardest Trials achievements we have ever seen.

Is level 15 another way of saying 15 sets of randomized extreme obstacles without faulting?

Wrong. Trials HD Ultimate Endurance before they changed the track set. Only 30 people had it. Redlynx sent them all shirts for getting it before they changed it.

I think these achievements are more doable than I originally thought. I've already got 9/16 Platinums, and I'm down to 11 faults on the tournament (which ranked my top 50 in the world).

I'm at 12/16 plats. Probably would have had them all if I wasn't wasting time getting The Dystopian which I just got. Now to finish these tracks, do the tournament, and hope to get lucky on Neverending Trials. All this is going to have to wait 'cause I'm gonna go play Oblivion.

Not looking forward to Neverending Trials either.

Getting all platinums took me around 5 hours.

But beating "15" rounds of Never Ending Trials was brutal. The first thing to know about it is that since you start on round 0, the achievement won't unlock until the number of rounds in the top left says 16 (1 extra round).

I probably made it to round 11 50+ times, round 14 at least 12 times, and 15 three times. My problem was trying to do the harder rounds at a slower pace. Once I gave up on that and just went full speed I started doing a lot better.

Now I just need to do that tournament. Got down to 5 faults within 3 tries, but I keep making stupid mistakes on the simplest obstacles (again... taking them slowly is what is killing me). I will say that its nice having to actually work for some achievements again.

Yeah the plats were a lot easier when I realised that the banshee is a piece of crap.

I couldn't come close to plats with the banshee, swapped to the phoenix and had them all in a couple of hours. The phoenix makes jumps that the banshee just cannot!

The hard as nails tournament doesn't seem too bad, my first try was 4 faults, second try 1 fault. Just take your time and don't rush if you aren't bothered about the plat!

Considering I'll never in a million years get 100% in this game, the achievements will pretty much happen randomly...if at all.

You got plats on everything in a couple hours? Ok in the last DLC, I got Gold achievement, but only 2 plats. What are my chances of getting plat on all these tracks?

Dystopia alone is one extremely frustrating platinum and I got all the ones from OOP and none of them were this annoying.

Oops sorry I meant all of the plats needed for the achievement (all except extreme). If you can plat a hard track then you can definitely plat them all for the achievement as I think the plats are just about as hard as each other.

Just watch the top guy's replay and try to emulate him as much as possible.
Some of the jumps they do will probably be too hard but if you copy the bits which you are able to you can shave many seconds off.

One thing what I do is I race against the top guys ghost. Yeah there's no chance of catching him but what I find is as in any racing game, chasing someone will make you quicker because deep down you try harder. Or race against a ghost which is right on the platinum medal time.

Good luck!

Don't worry that's what I thought you meant about just plating hard and under tracks.

The only Plat I got in OOP is Toy Box only because it was mostly memorization rather than anything technical. haha But like you said half the time I don't even know how the guy is going so fast in a replay.

Yeah, the Phoenix above all. Tried the banshee for some hard tracks, and scorpion for some of the easier tracks, but nothing compared to the Phoenix.

I overestimated the platinum difficulties, was able to get the achievement today!

Out of all the things involving that track plat. Was definitely the easiest for me. Well the squirrel was easy too. And the lights weren't hard but still took me forever to get to the last one

I don't know how good you are but the only hard part is getting launched to the last light really... And even that shouldn't be hard.
