ive completed them all on veteran, including the first cod, witch was the hardest one without doubt, i would say it is because it has actually a life bar... followed by cod3 and 2. all modern warfare and black ops are way too easy and short

That mile high club achievement seemed impossible to get. But I'm too dedicated to give up. I just couldn't. I'm too proud. Finally got it after wasting hours every day on it.

Beat it earlier today (including Mile High Club) and it was so satisfying! Definetly one of my proudest completed games.

Well that was a hard won 1000/1000, after 6 months I sat down and slogged out Mile high club, after about 2 hours & a million different strategies, I got the hostage, heart pounding I took the shot and down went the terrorist! I've never been so happy to get an achievement!

I beat it on Vet myself. Only had a little bit of trouble on a few parts, nothing that bad though.

I beat it, and enjoyed it a lot. I just didn't manage to get "Mile High Club", yet. Other than that, it's easier than CoD 2, imo.

I beat COD 4 on Veteran a couple of hours ago, then drove the wife to work and had breakfast. Mile High Club started about fifteen minutes ago, and I can already tell that it's going to be much more frustrating than anything else this game had to offer. As for the campaign, it wasn't too bad. A bit too luck-based, in my opinion, but I'm good enough at FPSs that it was the bad luck that killed me, instead of only making it with good luck. All things equal, I kicked this game's ass.
Mile High Club time. Wish me luck, guys. I stayed up all night beating the campaign, but I've just made a fresh pot of coffee, and I've got a fifth of rum. I'm not leaving this chair until that hostage is safe.
...Because I care.

Editing this to keep from double-posting:
Just perfected the game. I did not enjoy Mile High Club; it was far too luck-based. Everything really had to go in your favor, mostly in the form of whether or not your teammates were useless or no. But I capped the last terrorist with six seconds to go, the very first time I made it up the stairs. Good game, but I've decided I'm not really a COD fan. Still, with Mile High Club, at least I can claim that it's not because I suck at it.

I am happy to say I just beat this game on Vet 980/100, Now I need to work on mile high club. Not sure If I will be able to beat it.

I am very happy with myself for beating this because when I fist played it years ago and tried the hardest difficulty I told myself there is no way in HELL I was going to beat this game on vet difficulty.

Finally did it and I think No Fighting in the War Room was worse than Mile High Club. If you can master the silo section, though, it's smooth sailing.

I really didn't have a problem with 'No Fighting in the War Room', 'Mile High Club' on the other hand I can't seem to get past. I guess I need to try and get back to finishing that.

Beat it in just over a day on veteran n then took about 4 hour longish sessions to get mile high one. I'm pretty happy that its now 1000g'd so I don't have to go through that bullshit again. Only real hard bits are mile high and no fighting in the war room coz of being on a timer and the bullshit instantaneous respawn of enemies which Infinity Ward seem to have a hard on for and I think there just full of shit. At least there not as grenade happy as they are in World at War.
