I'm about halfway through Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk. I love it so far. When I'm done I'll either start The Hobbit or Yahtzee Croshaw's Mogworld - the latter if it arrives in the mail within the next couple of days.

Before I Go To Sleep by S.J.Watson

It's about a woman who has amnesia and every day she wakes up not knowing anything about her adult life, sometimes she only remembers things from when she was young and sometimes she remembers her adult life.

I'm really enjoying it and im only around a third of the way in but that might just be because i'm a psychology nut

Right now I'm reading The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan. It is by far one of the best books I've read. It's the last book is the sequal series to Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Red Country by Joe Abercrombie. Fantasy done in such a tongue in cheek way that is so down to earth and helps give all the characters a real sense of being. Really recommend all his books as so far they all link together in some way or another

Currently reading the Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson. It's an epic fantasy series over 10 books. I'm still on the first book Gardens of the Moon.

If you are a fan of rich, deep, and large fantasy worlds, pick this up. It's different in that he and his friend created this fantasy world first (as an RPG), THEN they wrote the books. His friend Ian Cameron Esslemont wrote 5 books set in this world, and Erikson has written another novel and a few novellas set in the Malazan world. His writing style is a little different from other fantasy authors in that he doesn't waste time explaining things in the universe. Some people don't like that style, but once you get past the initial "confusion", they are 10 books you simply can't put down. Part of it is, that the characters themselves aren't informed of plot points or other things, so the learning curve is on the characters as well as the readers.

I loved the first book so much, I went out and promptly bought the remaining 9. Be forewarned though, each novel is about 1200 pages. If you aren't a heavy reader, this may not be for you.

I'm also reading Gardens of the Moon. I haven't had too many issues with figuring out what's going on yet. I heard that little things in this book make an impact in the later novels though.

And when my brain needs a break from the complex world of Malazan I pick up World War Z. I'm still trying to figure what the story of the movie is going to be.

Since completing and reading my collection of Darren Shan books, I've moved on to Les Miserables. Not because of the film release, but because I could only find a copy in store since the film release. I'ts something I've wanted to read ever since seeing the theatrical performance.

And I still haven't moved on from the second part of Interview With The Vampire! I don't know why, but I just can't get into that book any more..

One I recently finished that I would *highly* recommend to anybody living here in the States-

This is a serious eye-opener, it will shock and anger but needs to be read.

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...emperor-s-soul

Finished both of those this week. If anyone has not read Ready Player One, stop what you're doing and do that now. And while Brandon Sanderson is my favorite artist, The Emperor's Soul fell a bit flat. His other novella Legion was much more fleshed out in just as little time, so while it was a fun little read, it was his weakest work yet (and I still gave it four stars ).

I started the Malazan Book of the Fallen series, but it has not grabbed me just yet. I'll stick with it for another 10-20% and see if it heats up. I imagine it will.
