DEATHMAKER1994's Gamercard
AC2 better than AC1

AC2 is better, because, as metioned by others more weapons, more diversity, change your home, deadly fighting, less annoying black weduws, easier money, brutal combat more, more freedom, better story, and easier achievements. it's possible to play it out in 6 to 8 hours and get all the achievement in another 3 to 4 hours. i recommend it greatly to others to play. in comparison with the first AC what got around a 6,5 to a 7 on average, AC2 is a 8 to 8,5 because it's so much better. other opinion is hire the game for a day and look for yourself to play it or not

Much better then the first. I think either this one or AC:Brotherhood were my favorites so far. Should give them both a chance.

I've only played 1, 2 and Brotherhood. I can say without a doubt Assassin's Creed II is my favourite.

This game GOT me into AC 1,other then that I never could get into the first. After this game and Brotherhood to amp me up for revelations I played AC1. Loved it,did 4 playthroughs. Too bad Revelations sucked, lol.

This one is a bit better than the first in that it is more open and has a lot more to offer. Yes it is still repetitive but it's a little more of everything. Locations, weapons, combat moves, features.

I think ACII learned a little bit from the the original it needed to add some more spice to keep gamers guessing.

i agree the repetitive nature of AC was unbearable at times. things i noticed right away: there's no more pickpockets & the world actually has color. the middle east desert was very dry & lacking color so moving on to italy was a pleasant change

I found the original AC dull and repetitive, and the environment was just boring and bland. The best part of AC was the ending, which I feel made it worth powering through before I started ACII.

ACII expanded on everything established in the original, but with a character you were with from birth, who you really start to care for as you progress through his life with him. The dull color palette from the first game was replaced with a vibrant blend of colors, really showing off Renaissance Italy. The gameplay was improved, from the combat, to the weapons, to the exploration. This was one of the first next-gen games I 100%ed, because I thoroughly enjoyed the exploration and all of the activities.

AC:B and AC:R very obviously piggy-backed off of the near-perfection of ACII, and while AC:B added an intriguing multiplayer mode and Assassin missions, AC:R felt like the horse had already been beaten to death. I still have not gotten around to finishing AC3, but at least they finally felt comfortable with carrying on to a different protagonist.

Overall, I would rank them as being ACII > AC:B/AC3 > AC:R > AC, at least so far.

In the middle of AC2, so far enjoying more than the original. Somewhere I got the patience to finish to 100%, those flags were annoying. I am looking forward to the rest of the series when I get round to them

The storyline know is much better and I think the free running and parkour flows more in and around each environment and the fighting is pretty cool too. At least this time you only have to collect 100 collectibles!

Honestly the flags are what is killing me in AC. I still have not completed that game. I like it for the whole hidden blade and the sneaking up and killing someone. But the running around is painful.

Yeah the flags were killer, I was glad ACII wasn't as bad with the collection items.
